Facilities Team Restarts Lutheran Counseling
January 9th Services
Spirit of JOY’s Facilities Team will
meet Saturday, January 9th at 9
a.m. All are welcome to help
maintain SoJ’s building. Sign-up at
the Welcome Center.
Renovation Update

Our interior renovation project is
now complete and we are enjoying
the newly available space. A
wonderful anniversary celebration
was held on November 15th with the
new space dedicated at that time.
Thanks to Debie Robles and Kathy
Raue and their team of volunteers
for making it a success! The
exterior cross and lighting are also
now installed. Planned upgrades to
audio, video, and theater lighting in
the Gathering Room and Worship
Center should be finished by late
January. Please extend a special
thanks to the Interior Renovation
Team for all their hard work: Bob
Belk, Mike Bodkin, Amy Nation,
Mark Schneider, Denny Tritinger,
Pete Westlake, and Pastor Jeff. The
Exterior Renovation Team will begin
meeting in January to complete the
rear drive, parking lot,
and landscaping improvements.
Additional Office
Volunteers Needed
SoJ utilizes 4 volunteers in the
church office two days each week.
One of our volunteers is no longer
able to serve so we could use an
additional volunteer willing to serve
two days per month from 10 a.m. to
2 p.m. If you’d enjoy serving,
please contact Pastor Jeff!
E-mail Help W anted!
SoJ’s on-line devotions team is
always looking for more volunteers
to keep a
3 month per year rotation for each
team member. It only takes a few
minutes each day to send out the
daily devotion. Training will be
provided. If you are willing to help,

Get Acquainted/New
Member-Disciple
Orientation LIFE Group
Are you new to Spirit of JOY and
want to learn more about us and
what it means to become a
member/disciple? If so, watch for
the next Get Acquainted/New
Member-Disciple Orientation LIFE
Group in the New Year. This five-
week series allows you to
experience the blessings of a Life
Group through support and prayer
while also learning more about one
another, Jesus, the Church, and
where you can best fit in. Each
session includes a meal. A sign-up
sheet seeking interested
participants is at the Welcome
Center. The next group will be
launched when at least 8 people
have signed up.

volunteer in the tech booth on
Sunday. Remember to return
