knowledgegrew,andIlearnedtobeacceptingofotherinterpretationsotherthanmy
own,aswellhowtoanalyzewhilereading.
Giventhatoneofmynewgeneralunderstandingswashavinganopenmind,I
gainedthisskillthroughthedreadfulSocraticSeminars.Whilethesemanagedtobethe
leastappealingtoahighschooljunior,theywerethemosthelpful.Itneverceasedto
amazemethethingsIwouldmissorhowdifferentlyIwouldtakethingscomparedto
otherpeople.Forinstance,attheendof
