WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND OFFICES

Caritas Meru Tharaka Nithi Office is interested in the purchase/construction of Gitogo Kamaindi water
treatment plant and water offices in Tharaka Nithi County. A competitive tender procedure is being
conducted to identify a suitable contractor.
Interested contractors are invited to submit their completed EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST for review.
Those who meet the criteria shall be considered for the next level-filling of tender. The Expression of
Interest application consists of the following information that must be reviewed and completed by each
applicant:
1.

Information for all suppliers- This document includes this letter that provides a complete summary
of how to complete the Expression of Interest and how, and when to submit it.

2.

Supplier form This document must be reviewed, signed and returned by the applying supplier. The
supplier form is attached to this summary letter.

3.

Supplier questionnaire - To be completed by the applicant. Please provide as much information as


possible. The questionnaire is attached to this summary letter.

To complete your Expression of Interest application, please provide the following information as clearly,
and in as much detail, as possible.
The EOI Dossier can be downloaded from the reliefweb. www.reliefweb.int or from the Caritas Meru
office.
The completed EOI Dossier should be received on, or before, 12noon (GMT) 15th December 2014.All

Valid tax compliance certificate
Valid NCA certificate of category 6 and above.
Key personnel. At least One should be a registered civil, structural or water
engineer.
Proof of similar works(structural n water works) in the last five years
Sound financial standing(audited accounts for the last 3 years-2013.2012,2011)
The Supplier Form duly completed and signed
The Supplier Questionnaire duly completed. This questionnaire should be
completed with all required information (copies of audited financial statements for
the last two years, company registration certificate, customer references, company
profile, etc.)
