L Use only the AC adaptor included with this
product, noted on page 4.
L Do not connect the AC adaptor to any AC
outlet other than a standard 220240 V
AC outlet.
L This product is unable to make calls when:
the portable handset battery(ies) need
recharging or have failed.

combination of how often the handset is in
use and how often it is not in use

over time depending on usage conditions
and ambient temperature.
L Even after the handset is fully charged,
the handset can be left on the base unit
without any ill effect on the batteries.
L The battery strength may not be displayed
correctly after you replace the batteries. In
this case, place the handset on the base

Mute
While mute is turned on, you will be able to
hear the other party, but the other party will
not be able to hear you.

Germany/Austria:
{R} is used to access special telephone
services, such as call waiting. If your
telephone line supports call waiting, you can
press {R} to switch between the first and
second caller during a conversation.
Contact your service provider/telephone
company for details.
Other countries:
{R} is used to access optional telephone
services. Contact your service
provider/telephone company for details.
Note:
L If your unit is connected to a PBX (private
branch exchange), pressing {R} can allow
you to access certain features of your host
PBX such as transferring an extension
call. Consult your PBX dealer for details.
L You can change the recall time (page 22).
Pause button (for PBX/long distance
service users)
A pause is sometimes required when
making calls using a PBX or long distance
service.
Example: If you have to dial {0} before
dialling outside numbers manually, you will
probably need to pause after dialling {0}
until you hear a dial tone.

display the first entry corresponding to
each letter located on that dial key.
L If there is no entry corresponding to
the letter you selected, the next entry
will be displayed.

The handset phonebook allows you to make

Phonebook
Chain dial
This feature allows you to dial phone
numbers in the handset phonebook while
you are on a call. This feature can be used,
for example, to dial a calling card access
number or bank account PIN that you have
stored in the handset phonebook, without
having to dial manually.

*1 When the ringer is turned off, the handset will ring:
at the minimum level for alarm
at the minimum level for intercom calls
at the maximum level for paging
*2 If you select one of the melody ringtones, the ringtone will continue to sound for several
seconds if the caller hangs up before you answer. You may hear a dial tone or no one
on the line when you answer a call.

Caller ID Service
Germany/Austria:
When you hear a call waiting tone during a
conversation, the display will show the
second callers information. You can answer
the second call by pressing {R}. The first
caller will be placed on hold. Press {R}
again to switch back to the first caller.
France/Spain/Greece/Belgium/
Sweden:
When you hear a call waiting tone during a
conversation, the display will show the
second callers information. You can answer
the second call, keeping the first call on
hold.
Caller ID announce
When you receive an outside call which has
phone number information, the handset
announces the displayed phone number
from the handset speaker.
L To announce outside callers phone
number, you must first subscribe to Caller
ID service. Consult your service
provider/telephone company for details.
L When receive a call while on the phone,
the 2nd callers phone number will not be
announced even if you subscribe to both
Caller ID and Call Waiting Caller ID
services.
L The announcement is heard at the ringer
volume (page 19).
L This feature can be turned on or off (page
14).

The included handset and base unit are
preregistered. If for some reason the
handset is not registered to the base unit (for
example, w flashes even when the handset
is near the base unit), register the handset
manually (page 25).
To register an additional handset to the
base unit (easy registration)
After purchasing an additional handset,
register it to the base unit. Ensure that the
additional handset is switched on. If it is not
on, press and hold {ih} for few seconds
to turn the handset on.

Cancelling a handset
A maximum of 6 handsets can be registered
to the base unit. A handset can cancel its
own registration (or the registration of
another handset) that is stored in the base
unit. This will allow the base unit to forget

Increasing the range of the base
unit
You can increase the signal range of the
base unit by using a DECT repeater. Please
use only the Panasonic DECT repeater
noted on page 5. Consult your Panasonic

L Do not use more than one repeater at a

Intercom calls can be made between
handsets.

Character entry
The dial keys are used to enter characters and numbers. Each dial key has multiple
characters assigned to it. The available character entry modes are Alphabet (ABC), Numeric
(0-9), Greek (F), Extended 1 (G), Extended 2 (H), and Cyrillic (I). When in these
entry modes except Numeric, you can select which character is entered by pressing a dial key
repeatedly.
Press {<} or {>} to move the cursor.
Press dial keys to enter characters and numbers.
Press {C/T} to erase the character or number highlighted by the cursor. Press and hold
{C/T} to erase all characters or numbers.
Press {*} to switch between uppercase and lowercase.
To enter another character located on the same dial key, press {>} to move the cursor to
the next space, then press the appropriate dial key.

Der/Die Akku(s) des Schnurlos-Telefones
muss/mssen geladen werden oder ist/sind
defekt.
Bei einem Stromausfall.
L ffnen Sie Basisstation, Ladegert oder
Mobilteil nur zum Auswechseln des/der Akkus.
L Dieses Produkt darf nicht in der Nhe von

Knochenleitungshrer (nur
KX-TG7170)
Das Mobilteil ist mit einem Knochenleitungshrer
ausgestattet, mit dem beim Telefonieren
Schwingungen in Schall umgesetzt werden.
Um eine ordnungsgeme Funktion zu
gewhrleisten, wird der Knochenleitungshrer in
der Nhe des Ohrs an den Kopf gelegt.
Normalerweise wird der Schall in den Hrkanal
geleitet und versetzt das Trommelfell in
Schwingung. Der Mensch fhlt die Schwingung
im Innenohr, setzt sie ber den Hrnerv um und
kann das Gesagte somit verstehen.

Legen Sie den Knochenleitungshrer an den
Kopf (in der Nhe des Ohrs). Probieren Sie
verschiedene Stellen aus, um herauszufinden,

L Schlieen Sie das Telefonkabel niemals
whrend eines Gewitters an.
L Das Netzteil muss stets angeschlossen
bleiben. (Es ist normal, dass sich das Netzteil
whrend des Betriebes warm anfhlt.)
L Das Netzteil sollte an einer Wand- oder
Bodensteckdose angeschlossen werden.
Schlieen Sie das Netzteil nicht an einer
Deckensteckdose an, da sein Gewicht es aus
der Steckdose ziehen knnte.

L Fr einen rauschfreien Betrieb bei maximaler
Kommunikationsentfernung stellen Sie die
Basisstation wie folgt auf:

L Verwenden Sie nur die mitgelieferten, auf
Seite 4, 7 angegebenen Standardakkus.
L Wenn Sie die Akkus austauschen mssen,
empfehlen wir, nur die auf Seite 5, 7
angegebenen Panasonic-Akkus zu
verwenden.
L Wischen Sie die Pole des Akkus (S, T) mit
einem trockenen Tuch ab.
L Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Akkus darauf,
die Pole der Akkus (S, T) und Kontakte des
Gertes nicht zu berhren.

Akkufachabdeckung und schieben Sie die

L Auch wenn das Mobilteil voll aufgeladen ist,

Mit den Sprachansagefunktionen kann das
Mobilteil die angezeigte Telefonnummer
ansagen. (Anruferansage/Listenansage)
Anruferansage
Geht ein externer Anruf mit
Rufnummerinformationen ein, sagt das Mobilteil
die angezeigte Rufnummer ber den
Lautsprecher an.
L Um die Rufnummeransage fr externe Anrufe
nutzen zu knnen, mssen Sie sich zunchst
fr das Leistungsmerkmal Anruferanzeige
(CLIP) anmelden (Seite 22).
L Die Ansage erfolgt in der Ruftonlautstrke
(Seite 19).
Listenansage
Beim Anzeigen von Wahlwiederholungsliste,
Anruferliste und Telefonbuch sagt das Mobilteil
die jeweiligen Rufnummern ber den
Lautsprecher an.
L Enthlt die angezeigte Rufnummer ein P
(Pause), fgt das Mobilteil bei der Ansage fr
jedes P eine 0,5 Sekunden lange Pause ein;

Anruferanzeige (CLIP)-Funktionen
Wenn ein externer Anruf eingeht, wird die
Rufnummer des Anrufers angezeigt.
L Die Rufnummern der letzten 50 Anrufer
werden in der Anruferliste erfasst.
L Wenn Anruferdaten empfangen werden und
mit einer im Telefonbuch gespeicherten
Rufnummer bereinstimmen, wird der
gespeicherte Name angezeigt und in der
Anruferliste protokolliert.
L Wenn das Gert an eine Nebenstellenanlage
angeschlossen ist, werden die Anruferdaten
unter Umstnden nicht zu Ihrem Anschluss
durchgereicht und nicht angezeigt.
L Wenn der Anrufer aus einem Ortsnetz anruft,
da das Leistungsmerkmal Anruferanzeige
(CLIP) nicht untersttzt, wird Dienst

L Wenn der Anrufer verlangt hat, dass keine

Versumte Anrufe
Wenn ein Anruf nicht entgegengenommen wird,
behandelt das Gert diesen als einen
versumten Anruf. Die Anzahl der versumten
Anrufe wird im Display angezeigt. Daran knnen
Sie erkennen, ob Sie die Anruferliste anzeigen
sollten, um zu sehen, wer in Ihrer Abwesenheit
angerufen hat.

la batterie
Important:
L Utilisez uniquement les batteries

L Lors du remplacement des batteries, il est

L Nettoyez les ples des batteries (S, T) avec
un tissu sec.
L En installant les batteries, vitez de toucher les
ples des batteries (S, T) ou les contacts de
lappareil.
1 Appuyez fermement sur lencoche du
couvercle du combin et faites-le glisser
dans le sens indiqu par la flche.
L Lors du remplacement des batteries,
retirez les anciennes, ple positif (S) en
premier.
Charge de la batterie
Placez le combin sur la base pendant
environ 7 heures avant la premire utilisation.

L Lautonomie de la batterie peut diminuer avec

didentification des appels
Important:
L Cet appareil est compatible avec la fonction
didentification des appels. Pour utiliser les
fonctions didentification des appels (comme
laffichage du numro de tlphone de
lappelant), vous devez vous abonner un
service didentification des appels. Pour plus
dinformations, contactez votre fournisseur de
services/compagnie de tlphone.
Service didentification des appels
Lorsquun appel extrieur est reu, le numro de
tlphone de lappelant saffiche.
L Les numros de tlphone des 50 derniers
appelants sont enregistrs dans la liste des
appelants.
L Lorsque des informations sur un appelant sont
reues et correspondent un numro de
tlphone enregistr dans le rpertoire de
lappareil, son nom saffiche et est enregistr
dans la liste des appelants.
L Si lappareil est reli un central tlphonique,
vous risquez de ne pas recevoir les
informations des appelants.
L Si le correspondant appelle dune zone non
couverte par le service didentification des
appels, le message HORS ZONE saffiche.
L Si le correspondant ne souhaite divulguer
aucune information le concernant, aucune
information napparat ou le message APPEL

Appels manqus
Si vous ne rpondez pas un appel, lappareil le
considre comme manqu. Le nombre dappels
manqus saffiche lcran. Cela vous permet de
savoir si vous devez afficher la liste des
appelants pour voir qui a appel pendant votre
absence.

vocale
La messagerie vocale est un service de
rpondeur automatique offert par votre
fournisseur de services/compagnie de
tlphone. Si vous vous abonnez ce service, la
messagerie vocale de votre fournisseur de
services/compagnie de tlphone rpondra aux
appels lorsque vous tes dans limpossibilit de
le faire ou lorsque la ligne est occupe. Les
messages sont enregistrs par votre fournisseur
de services/compagnie de tlphone, et non par
votre tlphone.
Si vous avez de nouveaux messages, 0
saffiche sur le combin. Pour plus de dtails sur
ce service, veuillez contacter votre fournisseur de
services/compagnie de tlphone.
Remarque:
L Si 0 reste affich mme aprs que vous
avez cout les nouveaux messages,
dsactivez le service en maintenant la touche
{C/T} appuye pendant 2 secondes.

Vous pouvez enregistrer jusqu 6 combins par
base.
Important:
L Le modle de combin supplmentaire
recommand pour tre utilis avec cet appareil
est prsent la page 6. Si un autre modle
est utilis, certaines oprations (rglages du
combin, rglages de la base, etc.) peuvent ne
pas tre disponibles.
L Des combins supplmentaires vous
permettent davoir, par exemple, un appel
dintercommunication avec un autre combin
pendant quun troisime est en communication
avec lextrieur.
Enregistrement dun
combin sur la base
Le combin et la base inclus sont prenregistrs.
Si pour une raison quelconque le combin nest
pas enregistr sur la base (par exemple, w
clignote mme lorsque le combin est proximit
de la base), enregistrez-le manuellement (page
25).
Pour enregistrer un combin supplmentaire
sur la base (enregistrement simple)
Aprs lacquisition dun combin supplmentaire,
enregistrez-le sur la base. Vrifiez que ce
combin est sous tension. Sil ne lest pas,
appuyez sur la touche {ih} et maintenez-la
enfonce pendant quelques secondes.
1 Dcrochez le combin supplmentaire et
appuyez sur la touche {ih} pour mettre le
combin en mode veille.
2 Appuyez sur la touche {x} de la base et
maintenez-la enfonce pendant environ 3
secondes jusqu ce que la tonalit

Les touches de numrotation permettent dentrer des caractres et des numros. Plusieurs caractres
sont attribus chaque touche de numrotation. Les modes de saisie de caractres disponibles sont
Alphabet (ABC), Numrique (0-9), Grec (F), Etendu 1 (G), Etendu 2 (H) et Cyrillique (I). En
modes de saisie de caractres, lexception du mode Numrique, vous pouvez slectionner le
caractre entrer en appuyant plusieurs reprises sur une touche de numrotation.
Appuyez sur la flche {<} ou {>} pour dplacer le curseur.
Appuyez sur les touches de numrotation pour entrer des caractres et des numros.
Appuyez sur la touche {C/T} pour effacer le caractre ou le numro mis en vidence par le curseur.

L Votre appareil est connect une ligne tlphonique
avec un service DSL/ADSL. Il est recommand de
brancher un filtre (contactez votre fournisseur de service
DSL/ADSL) sur la ligne tlphonique entre la base et la
prise de tlphone.
L Le volume de la sonnerie du combin est coup. Rglezle (page 19).
L La fonction dannonce vocale est dsactive. Activez-le
(page 14).
L Pendant un appel externe, le combin nannonce pas les
informations du rpertoire lorsque vous le parcourez.
L Ne vous arrtez pas pendant plus dune minute pendant
une recherche.
L Le nombre maximum de combins (6) est dj

Il portatile dispone di un auricolare a conduzione
ossea che utilizza le vibrazioni per creare il suono
durante le conversazioni telefoniche.
Per un funzionamento corretto, premere
lauricolare contro il viso accanto allorecchio.
Generalmente, il suono entra attraverso il canale
auricolare e fa vibrare il timpano. La vibrazione
viene avvertita nella parte interna dellorecchio e
interpretata durante la ricezione da parte del
nervo uditivo.

il viso (non direttamente sullorecchio). Provare

Importante:
L Utilizzare esclusivamente le batterie ricaricabili
in dotazione, come riportato a pagina 4, 7.
L Quando si sostituiscono le batterie, si consiglia
di utilizzare le batterie ricaricabili Panasonic
riportate a pagina 5, 7.
L Strofinare i terminali delle batterie (S, T) con
un panno asciutto.
L Quando si installano le batterie, evitare di
toccare le estremit della batteria (S, T) o i
contatti dellunit.
1 Premere la tacca sul coperchio del portatile in
modo deciso e far scorrere il coperchio nella
direzione della freccia.
L Quando si sostituiscono le batterie,
rimuovere le batterie usate innanzitutto dal

(ABC), Numerico (0-9), Greco (F), Allargato 1 (G), Allargato 2 (H) e Russo (I). In tali modi
di immissione, ad eccezione di Numerico, possibile selezionare il carattere da immettere premendo
un tasto di composizione ripetutamente.

Premere i tasti di composizione per immettere i caratteri e i numeri.
Premere {C/T} per cancellare il carattere o il numero evidenziato dal cursore. Tenere premuto

La unidad porttil ofrece un auricular de
conduccin sea que utiliza vibraciones para
crear sonido durante las conversaciones
telefnicas.
Para obtener un funcionamiento correcto,
presione el auricular de conduccin sea contra
su cara, a la altura del odo.
Normalmente el sonido se introduce por el canal
auditivo y hace vibrar el tmpano. El usuario
siente la vibracin en el odo interno y la
comprende cuando la recibe el nervio auditivo.

Entrada de caracteres
Las teclas se utilizan para introducir caracteres y nmeros. Cada tecla tiene mltiples caracteres
asignados a ella. Los modos de introduccin de caracteres disponibles son: alfabeto (ABC), nmeros
(0-9), griego (F), extendidos 1 (G), extendidos 2 (H) y cirlico (I). Si est en estos modos
de introduccin de caracteres, excepto en nmeros, seleccione el carcter que vaya a introducir
pulsando una tecla repetidamente.
Pulse {<} o {>} para mover el cursor.
Pulse las teclas para introducir caracteres y nmeros.
Pulse {C/T} para borrar el carcter o el nmero resaltado por el cursor. Mantenga pulsada la tecla
{C/T} para borrar todos los caracteres o nmeros.
Pulse {*} para cambiar entre maysculas y minsculas.

las entradas innecesarias de la agenda de la otra unidad
porttil (el receptor), e intntelo de nuevo.
L La memoria de la agenda de la unidad porttil est llena.
Borre las entradas innecesarias (pgina 17).
L Debe abonarse al servicio de identificacin de llamadas.
Una vez que reciba la informacin de la llamada tras
suscribirse al servicio de identificacin de llamadas, no
se mostrar este mensaje.
Solucin de problemas
Si todava tiene dificultades despus de seguir las instrucciones en esta seccin, desconecte el
adaptador de CA y apague la unidad porttil. A continuacin, vuelva a conectar el adaptador de
corriente y a encender la unidad porttil.
Telfono
Problema
El icono w parpadea.
Causa y solucin
L La unidad porttil no est registrada en la unidad base.
Regstrela (pgina 25).
L La unidad porttil est fuera del radio de cobertura de la
unidad base. Acrquela.
L El adaptador de CA no est conectado. Compruebe las
conexiones.
L Est utilizando una unidad porttil o una unidad base en
una zona con gran interferencia elctrica. Coloque la
unidad porttil o la unidad base lejos de fuentes de
interferencia, como pueden ser las antenas o telfonos
mviles.
L La unidad porttil est apagada. Encindala (pgina 12).
L Asegrese de que las pilas estn instaladas
correctamente (pgina 11).
L Cargue las pilas completamente (pgina 11).
L Limpie los terminales de carga y vuelva a cargar (pgina
11).
L Cambie el idioma de la pantalla (pgina 12).

desconectados. Compruebe las conexiones.
L Si utiliza un divisor para conectar la unidad, retrelo y
conecte la unidad a la toma mural directamente. Si la
unidad funciona correctamente, compruebe el divisor.
L Desconecte la unidad base de la lnea telefnica y
conecte la lnea a un telfono que funcione. Si dicho
telfono funciona correctamente, consulte con nuestro
personal de servicio para que reparen la unidad. Si dicho
telfono no funciona correctamente, consulte con su
proveedor de servicios o compaa telefnica.
L El volumen de timbre est apagado. Ajuste el volumen
del timbre (pgina 19, 22).
L Limpie los terminales de carga y vuelva a cargar (pgina
11).
L La unidad porttil est fuera del radio de cobertura de la
unidad base. Acrquela e intntelo de nuevo.
L Hay otra unidad porttil en uso. Espere y vuelva a
intentarlo ms tarde.
L Aleje la unidad base o la unidad porttil de las fuentes de
perturbaciones elctricas.
L Acrquese a la unidad base.
L Su unidad est conectada a una lnea telefnica con
servicio DSL/ADSL. Recomendamos que conecte un
filtro (pngase en contacto con el proveedor de su
servicio DSL/ADSL) a la lnea telefnica entre la unidad
base y la toma de la lnea telefnica.
L Est utilizando una unidad porttil o una unidad base en
una zona con gran interferencia elctrica. Coloque la
unidad porttil o la unidad base lejos de fuentes de
interferencia, como pueden ser las antenas o telfonos
mviles.
L Desconecte el adaptador de CA y apague la unidad
porttil. Vuelva a conectar el adaptador de CA, luego
encienda la unidad porttil e intntelo de nuevo.
L El nmero remarcado tena ms de 24 dgitos. Vuelva a
marcar el nmero manualmente.
L Cargue las pilas completamente (pgina 11).
L Limpie los terminales de carga y vuelva a cargar (pgina
11).
L Sustituya las pilas (pgina 11).

L Limpie los extremos (S, T) de las pilas y los contactos
de la unidad con un pao seco.
L Tiene que suscribirse al servicio de identificacin de
llamadas. Consulte a su operador del servicio o
compaa telefnica si desea obtener detalles.
L Su unidad est conectada a una lnea telefnica con
servicio DSL/ADSL. Recomendamos que conecte un
filtro (pngase en contacto con el proveedor de su
servicio DSL/ADSL) a la lnea telefnica entre la unidad
base y la toma de la lnea telefnica.
L El volumen del timbre de la unidad porttil est apagado.

L Cuando est realizando una llamada externa, la unidad
porttil no anuncia la informacin de la agenda mientras
busca en la misma.

admite esa unidad base. Borre de la unidad base (pgina
26) los registros innecesarios de las unidades porttiles.
L El PIN introducido es incorrecto. Si lo olvidara, consulte
al distribuidor Panasonic ms cercano.
L Aleje la unidad base o la unidad porttil de las fuentes de
perturbaciones elctricas.
