softeningandbeinggentlewithyourself.
Practicecoolingpranayamaafteryourasanas.EitherShitalipranayama
orleftnostrilbreathingwillcoolandcalmthehotqualityofpitta
dosha.Besuretoreleaseanyremaininginternalheatfromwithinthe
bodybeforemeditation.
Followyourbreathingexerciseswithsomepeacefulmeditation.A
regularmeditationpracticeassistsinquietingtheactivepittamind,

Meditationshouldleaveonefeelingcoolandcalminbothmindand
heart.
Giveyourselfaslowandlovingfullbodymassagebeforetakinga
shower.Asabase,usesunflowerorcoconutoil,whicharecoolingand
nourishing.Essentialoilsofrose,sandalwood,jasmineorlavendercan
beaddedtofurtherenhancedelightandhealing.
Drinkateaofcumin,coriander,fennelandrosetopacifythehot
quality,improvedigestionandcalmthemind.
Wearclothingoflighttextureandcolor.Excellentchoiceswouldbe
cotton,linenandsilkofwhite,blueandgreen.Redandyellowshades
tendtoincreasethefirethatisalreadypresent.
