Tenders were called for Renovation of WBQ 66, Stage III, Anuradhapura;Renovation of WBQ 24
Saliya Mawatha & WBQ 87, Stage I, Anuradhapura on 8th April, 2015 by sending invitations to a
registered list of contractors (ICTAD registered).
The tenders were closed on 29th April, 2015 at 14.00 hrs and following contractors have submitted

words and also failed to indicate whether the signed person is the proprietor. Hence only bidders
no 2, 3,4,5,6 are considered as substantially responsive.

Financial Evaluation
Arithmetic Corrections

At the financial evaluation we have considered the quoted amounts without contingencies and VAT
of all substantially responsive bids.. The detailed evaluation is given below.
3.1.1:

Lowest substantially responsive offer

M/s Wasana Construction has submitted the lowest substantially responsive offer for a sum
of Rs. 874,372.50. No Arithmetic errors were found in his offer.
3.1.2: 2nd Lowest substantially responsive offer
M/s Samantha Construction has submitted the 2nd lowest substantially responsive offer for a
sum of Rs. 1,186,390.00. Arithmetic errors were found in his offer.
3.1.2: 3rd Lowest substantially responsive offer
M/s Chaminda Construction has submitted the 3rd lowest substantially responsive offer for a
sum of Rs 1,285,650.50. Arithmetic errors were found in his offer

Considering the facts in technical evaluation and financial evaluation the TEC recommends
awarding the contract to the lowest evaluated substantially responsive bidder, M/s Wasana
Construction., for a sum of Rs. 874,372.50 + applicable taxes.
