End of Q1 Reflections

End of quimester reflections may take many forms, as outlined below.


Regardless of which type of reflection you have chosen, the reflections
must be submitted to the CAS coordinator by the deadline detailed on the
year 12 instruction sheet. Whichever form of reflection you choose, you
should try to address the questions outlined on this form.
I have chosen to reflect on my CAS experience for quimester 1 by:

What did you plan to do this quimester?
Book bus, Ballet, Yearbook, Eco-art and School production

What did you do?


I was able to participate in all activities I planned to attend: Book bus,
Ballet, Yearbook, Eco-art and School production

What do you think about the activities you completed this quimester?
I had a lot of fun participating in these activities they covered different
topics and were different from one another so there was a lot of diversity
in my activities.

What feelings arose during the activities completed this quimester?


During Ballet a felt a sense of calm and relaxation. In classes such as ecoart and book bus I felt proud of my work to bettering the community.
During the school production I felt more confident in my actions.

What were the outcomes of the activities you completed, for yourself?
In ballet I was able to improve my flexibility and widen my range of known
dance moves.
In eco-art I was able to improve my leadership skills and my abilities in
working in a group.
In School production I was able to improve my public speaking skills, I am
now capable of speaking in front of large crowds, and I was able to
improve my acting skills.
What were the outcomes of the activities you completed, for others?
I was able to create a small eco-friendly garden for the school to enjoy.
I helped teachers in a small school look after children for the day.
My group was able to provide food, books and clothing for a child care
organization
Was there value for the school or the wider/ global community from any
activities? Explain.
The work I have completed in Book bus holds a value for local
underprivileged children. I was able to supply school supplies and clothing
which can help their families and can help improve their lives. Also the
time spent at the schools were able to improve the day of both the
children and teachers.

How will you proceed next quimester? Which activities will you continue
with? Why? Which will you not continue with? Why? Are there any areas
of growth you wish to focus on next quimester?
I will continue Eco-art, Ballet and school production next quimester. This is

because I have thoroughly enjoyed these activities and wish to continue


them. I will not continue book bus because it has been canceled. Areas of
growth I will focus on next semester will be overall social skills.
