Revelation

The Fallen Angels Trilogy

Myranda Lopez
Introduction
Ever since the Earth had been inhabited by man the angels and
demons began to crawl towards this middle world. Most would venture to
Earth out of curiosity, but others out of jealousy and hatred. One day God
decided that the things that escaped from heaven and hell needed to be
contained, for when these creatures were on Earth God had no control over
them and neither did the devil. His angels were much worse than Lucifer’s
demons because when they were not in heaven and under God’s control
they had no morality. God created them to follow his laws and took away
their ability to think for themselves and even took away their faces, literally.
All the angels looked exactly the same, for God knew that like the first angles
if they had an identity they would rebel and he was especially worried that
they would become like Luriel. With dented in faces and bodies that slumped
down like they had had their spines snapped in half, these angels would not
have the ability to rebel because they would have only the ability to fulfill
god’s will while in heaven. There was a flaw in God’s plan because
occasionally angel would become so interested in a human that it would fly
down to earth, but since in never had freedom it would go crazy and destroy
all that it had been created to look over. So God being wise went to Lucifer in
search of a solution to his problem. Yes God was wise indeed, he asked Luriel
to help him create a creature that could contain the angels and keep them
from causing chaos, because of course that was Lucifer’s job, to cause
chaos.
Lucifer also had a problem with his demons escaping to the human
world. When the demons were on Earth he had no control of them and that
agitated him for he wanted to control all. Unlike God’s new angels Lucifer’s
demons had a basic understanding of morality for they were once men
themselves. In fact, they still resembled the men that they once were,
except that they could change their features into anything imaginable, even
an angel. They caused a great deal of trouble for the humans but never did
as much damage as the angels who lacked a sense of control and mentality.
Lucifer agreed to God’s proposition, but Lucifer was also wise and
asked, “Oh heavenly brother of righteousness, what creature would possibly
be worthy enough to hold power over all the angels and demons?”
God of course wanted to make the guardian an angel, not like the new
angels, but like one of the old archangels; one with a mind and a soul who
could judge right from wrong. And of course Lucifer wanted one of his
demons to gain this power; one who would be strong and deceitful, so that
he would be smart enough to trick the delinquent demons that fled their
home. And with this the two rulers quarreled for years and the problem
began to grow and grow, until one day God saw one of the humans tending
to a herd of sheep, now there was nothing special about this man; he was a
normal shepherd who was just doing his duties. From seeing this man god
was inspired and with this inspiration he convinced Satan to give this task to
the humans.
“They have always tended the land and taken care of the problems of
the Earth; they should also be responsible for keeping it vestal and free of
corruption from hell and interference from heaven.”
Satan agreed, for like demons, humans were intelligent creatures. And
so with the mark of the beast and the blessing of god a new born child was
bestowed with the knowledge and power to fight against the things that
invaded the Earth. And so there would be many guardians, they also made a
female child.
