Responsibilities as Assistant General Manager are to ensure menu items are made according to recipe. Respond
to guests, ensuring their meal is of quality and meets their satisfaction. Daily sales reports, weekly reports such
labor development and labor forecasting, P&L statements, ordering products and inventory. Maintain effective
cost controls. Applying leadership, time management, organizational interpersonal skills, mentor and coach to
fifty plus employees.
Kitchen Manager
Oversaw entire kitchen area which included cooking, ordering, inventory, prep and payroll. Ensured
presentation of food was within quality and appearance. Ensured that sanitation procedures were followed.
Provided training to staff and composed training manual. This position allowed for me to give of myself to the
community, as that our organization serviced meals to the homeless once a week. It allowed me to participate
in non-profit community activities.
Administrative Assistant
My duties included overseeing janitorial contracts, dealing with customer complaints and service. Light typing,
payroll, and quicken books. Computer experience in outlook express, power point presentations and customer
service.
General Manager
Responsibilities consisted of advertising, marketing, ordering, inventory, design menus, designing of room
layouts, proper financial controls for handling replenishments, consumptions and food that are distributed.
Education
Certificate in Computers with training in Microsoft Word, Power point presentations, Excel, Quicken books, and
Outlook Express
Training in Home Health Aide, geriatrics, senior care and disabled persons
Learned cooking skills in short order cooking, line cooking, baking, nutrient and gourmet foods. In addition,
trained in food sanitation and food presentation.
