I had an opportunity to discuss the fundamentals of Chemical Engineering and its

applications in Industry with various colleagues who have spontaneously obliged. While I
have drawn guidelines from the existing material, I've been considerably benefitted from the

INTRODUCTION
Thermax was established in 1966 by Mr A.S. Bhathena. He collaborated with a Belgiun
company, Wansom,, manufacturing small boilers at a unit in Dadar, Mumbai. The company
was renamed ThermaxLtd in 1980.
Thermax Group is an INR 5577 crore company, providing a range of engineering solutions to
the energy and environment sectors.
Thermax ltd headquartered in Pune, India and operate globally through 19 International
offices, 12 Sales & Service offices and 12 manufacturing facilities - 7 of which are in India
and 5 overseas.
Their presence spans 75 countries across Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East, CIS
countries, Europe, USA and South America.
The group consists of 5 domestic wholly owned subsidiaries, 13 overseas wholly owned

CONCLUSION

I conclude that while going through the entire industrial training, the co-operation of all the
