Learning objective :
a) Understand geometric properties of prisms, pyramid, cylinders, cones and sphere.
b) Understand the concept of nets.
c) Understand the concept of surface area.
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
a) State the geometric properties of prisms, pyramids, cylinders, cones and spheres.
b) Draw nets for prisms, pyramids, cylinders and cones.
c) State the types of solid given their nets.
d) Determine the surface area of prisms, pyramids, cylinders, cones and spheres.
Activities

a) Set induction: shows picture of landscape.


b) Development of the lesson: Power point presentation, discussion, 2-way interaction.

c) Evaluation: Gives worksheet and asks students solve the problems in groups.
d) Closure: Makes conclusion on todays lesson and gives homework.
