HR Interview Questions and Answers for Freshers

1) Tell me about yourself?

Well, I would like to thank you first for giving me this opportunity.
My name is Rahul chowdari.
I belong to Chittoor (AP) now I am residing on Madiwala in Bangalore.
Recently I have done my Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical engineering from Siddartha Institute
of science and Technology with 68% in the year of 2015. I did my +2 from Vijayam junior college with
66% in the year of 2011. I did my schooling from AP Board of SSC with 81% in the year of 2009.
Coming to my family background:
My family consisting of three members including me. My father is a supervisor in food Production
Company. And my mother, she is a house-wife.
About my hobbies:
I like to playing games, watching TV, editing Photo and Designing UAVs.
Now coming to my strength and weakness:
My strength are: I am honest, self-motivated, and positive thinking.
My weakness is: If I started any work, I will put my entire efforts on that work.
My short term goal is to get a job in reputed company like you and long term goal is to become a
respectable position in good organization.

2) Why should I hire you?
The reason why you should hire me sir is because of my education level and good communication
skills which fits the job. I need a platform where I can utilize my technical skills and improve my
knowledge. Moreover, I have a good knowledge of computers, Design and analysis tools. And I am a
hard working person. I am good team person as well as good learner. I would like to explore myself on
both professional grounds and humanity and for that this job is the perfect one. I can also assure you
that I will give my best efforts for the betterment of this company and grow as an individual.
3) Why do you want to work our company?
Because I want to work in well organized and reputed company like your's. This is good platform for
me to explore my knowledge and skill.
4) What are your strengths and weakness?
My strength are: I am honest, self-motivated, and positive thinking. My weakness is: If I started any
work, I will put my entire efforts on that work.
5) What is the difference between hard work and smart work?
Hard work involves your physical energy while smart work has to do with your intellectual skills.

6) How do you feel about working nights and weekends?

There is no matter whether it is working nights and weekends. When company needs me at any time
or any situation. I will be stay there.
7) Can you work under pressure?
Working under pressure is part of good performance, I can work under pressure, perform and deliver
results. And also I can learn more under pressure.
8) Are you willing to relocate or travel?
Yes of course. It is defends on work, if company demand me, am always ready.
9) What are your goals?
My short term goal is to get a job in reputed company like you and long term goal is to become a
respectable position in good organization.
10) What motivates you to do good job?
The opportunity to learn something new, become a better person, impact the world positively and put
a smile on people's faces drives me.
11) What makes you angry?
Sir, I am cool minded person. I never get angry easily. If by chance get angry, then I never display it
and live normal life.
12) Give me an example of creativity?
Creativity is new idea, smart think, hard work, well decision, activity, so these are all need to create
something special. Now I'm sitting in front of you sir. This is all so creativity.
13) How long would you expect to work for us if hired?
As am a fresher I'm waiting for a chance to enhance my skills and if I get a job and if company
provides good working environment, job satisfaction and bright future then I will work long term for
company.
14) Are you not overqualified this position?
Thank you for this but I think I am qualified for this job but not overqualified because I am just a
beginner and have lots more to learn. Now I have just theoretical knowledge about my field when I
will get practical knowledge that time I can consider me just a well-qualified not overqualified.
Because learning never ends. And it has no limits.
15) Describe your Ideal Company, location and job?
Fist I would like to say thank you for asking of my opinion. Ideal company is a company in which all
employer should satisfied every terms and conditions of company and one more things if all employer
are ideal. Then company will be definitely ideal.
16) What are your career options right now?
Right now my career option is to crack the interview session and be a part of reputed company where
talents will be encouraged like yours and improve my skills and knowledge.
17) explain how would be an asset to this organization?
Trust worthiness.
Honesty.

Smart worker.
Cooperate with teammates, stakeholders.
This all makes an asset to this organization.

18) What are your outside interests?
My outside interest is reading especially newly inventions and technology, And I am also interest in
planting the plants and watering the plants.
19) Would you lie for the company?
Sir, Sometimes There is no problem with lying, but it causes some series damage to company name in
future. So, I can't able to do that but I can find out some other way to solve the problem which is
good for both client & company.
20) Who has inspired in your life and why?
I always inspired by my father, because he always tell me something new and which is very useful in
practical life and whatever he learn from his experience.
21) What was the toughest decision you ever had to make?
I don't know what the meaning of tough decision is. As per my opinion everything is tough if you lazy
about it. And, everything is easy if you are crazy about it. & I seriously don't know how much crazy I
am.
22) Have you considered starting your own business?
No sir. I don't have a plan to start a business because I just want to improve my skills and work
experience. Later I will think about that. Because a good business man must be a good employee then
only he can run the organization successfully.
23) How do you define success and how do you measure up to your own decision?
According to me success is means giving your 100% with positive attitude and you will definitely reach
on mountain but always remember your feet should be on earth.

Success is not a destination but a journey so, journey without destination can't be measured.
24) If you won $10 million lottery, would you still work?
Of course I will continue my job because only earn money is not my aim I want to proof myself and
for this I want to increase my knowledge & skills and experience and this is only possible if I will do
job.
25) Tell me something about our company?
(Actually, not much needed to flatter the interviewer about company! if its a reputed MNC,
then go through its achievements clearly, and current projects that they are working make
them to feel that candidate is frequent about company.)
Sir, it is one of the fastest growing company in India. The work environment of the company is good.
People feel proud to be part of company as company provides full support to their employees in

professional front. It has cross the branches in the world. So, I have a good opportunity to show my
talent.
26) How much salary do you expect?
I am a fresher. Salary is not first priority for me this is a big platform to start my career so I expect a
considerable of salary according to my ability and your company's norms which fulfill my economical
needs.
27) Where do you see yourself five years now?
After five years, I would like to see myself at a respectable position where everyone in the
organization will say that this person has change the phase of the organization.
28) On a scale of one to ten, rate me as an interviewer?
Thank you sir for giving me such an opportunity, but I am not suitable person to evaluate you. I am
fresher whereas you have great experience of your field. But as a part of interview I will rate you 9/10
because of the fact no one is perfect in this world, there will always be space to learn more.
