To ensure that there is a system for preventative maintenance for all the machines and utilitiesthat affect direct or indirect on the quality of the product and workers safety
To guarantee not happen failures affect on the company commitment to deliver the products on time to the customer
:Scope-3
- The preventive maintenance should be done on all the machines used in the production
processes also the supported utilities as air compressors, air coolers and electrical
generators,etc.
- Also the preventive maintenance is done on some affective utilities on the company
such as electric station, walls and ground, ..etc
4- Responsibility
- Technical department manager is responsible to issue the preventive maintenance plan to the
machines and utilities.
- The head of the electrical and the head of mechanical maintenance are responsible to put and
execute the preventive maintenance plan and utilities.
- The HR manager is responsible to put and execute the preventive maintenance plan for the
transportation belonging to the company by coordination with movement and transportation
manager.
- IT manager is responsible to issue and execute the preventive maintenance plan for the
computers and its accessories also the auxiliary programs.

Machines Preventive maintenance:- Receiving the machine list and the operating and stoppage hours report from planning department.
- Preparing the annual maintenance plan that reviewed and approved by engineering department
manager and planning manager then sending a copy to the production department and copy to
maintenance manager and keep the origin in the preventive maintenance

- After putting monthly plan and identifying on it the date of executing the preventive maintenance
for all the machines and the production engineers send the machine fault and notes , then the
maintenance engineers edit a new report adding to its remarks on the machine and modify and
illustrate the production notes in the upper half of the report and sending to the preventive
maintenance section that study the report with maintenance engineers and review it on fact and add
the remarks of inspection in the lower half of the report.

- According to this study they identify the spare parts that should be exist before executing the
maintenance and review these items with ware houses if there is no suitable stock they edit
purchase request and coordinate with the purchasing department.

- Opening work order to start in executing the maintenance instructions this by putting stoppage
menu in the start and the end of the machine to illustrate that the machine under preventive
maintenance and then execute the preventive maintenance as following:* Electrical and Mechanical maintenance program
* If the maintenance requires welding, filings, and turnery, edit work order to the work shop
- Inspect all the counters for all the machines
- Editing the preventive maintenance report after finishing:a) Maintenance program attached with it remarks form that contains the applied maintenance and
received spare parts and the works in the work shop also the works not done and mention the
causes of why it not done
b) Remarks report after the maintenance containing the remarks of production in the upper half and
the maintenance remarks in the lower half.
c) Sheet contains the oils that changed or increased and the oil quantity that put to the machine and
the name of the machine part that maintenance applied.

d) Sending the maintenance report after carrying it out to the maintenance department in the next
day before 9 o'clock to discuss and save in the preventive maintenance section.
e) And before 25/12 from the same year, they send success report contains the percentage of
executing the preventive maintenance according to evaluation of maintenance plan that edited
before during year.

Utilities preventive maintenance:1- The mechanical engineer issue preventive maintenance plan and periodically inspect it and
review and approve by the engineering department manager.
2- Delivering the plan to the heads of sections in the engineering department
3- The heads of the mechanical and electrical maintenance issue utilities preventive maintenance
program.
4- The heads of the mechanical and electrical maintenance supervise executing the plan and
preventive maintenance program and save the required spare parts
5- Making monthly evaluation for the utilities preventive maintenance and discharge in evaluation
form no and making report of success the utilities annual maintenance plan.
