Accountant-General Ledger (October 1997- April 2009)


Managed full corporate accounting functions for Edison Mission Marketing & Trading with a
revenue of $175M and 120 employees.

• Prepared month-end financial statements which included BS, P&L, CF, and RE.
• Produced month-end supporting schedules for financial statements. Prioritized work
load weekly to make sure > 30 balance sheet accounts and > 120 expense accounts
were reconciled with a high level of accuracy. Created complex spreadsheet to track
cost center, expense and balance sheet accounts; reclassified > $1M from expense
items to fixed accounts.
• Provided year end supporting schedules for external auditors. Created user friendly
spreadsheets; consistently achieved 100% client satisfaction ratings.
