purple‐colored to the rim, it boasts a gorgeously sweet, pure nose of creme de cassis, spring  flowers, and a  and moderate tannin in the lusty finish.

  Rating: 93  Not at all overly sweet or dominated by the wood. Has superb material and verve. Finishes very long, with 
  thoroughly ripe tannins. The finest vintage for this wine in a long time. 
A behemoth Cabernet Sauvignon is the stern, tannic, concentrated 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (13.5%
