PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Technical Consultant/Black Belt
IMCS, Shelby Township, MI 1994-Present
projects for automotive, electronics, medical and other industries. Variety of contract projects include: product
and program launch (DFSS), troubleshooting of production practices, processes and parts (DMAIC, DMIAV,
SOP); cost optimization, computer simulation analyses, expert witness, and technical/business interpreter
services.

 Vero INTL (Visi-Flow). Trained Vero personal and customers at all levels of organizations;
identified customer needs and key performance drivers to facilitate software quality and
customer satisfaction, revised SOP, performed simulation and bench marking analyses,
conducted technical exhibits and presentations. Results: Significant operational improvement,
software continually gains global market share, high customer satisfaction,
 GM/Escalade four production molds program: Using DMAIC methodology and computer
simulation analyses redesigned four problematic tools. Results: Quality parts without
prototyping, program launched on time, savings per tool $350,000 per year.
 An expert witness -- helped customers to recover operational losses. Example: In case Precision
Plastics vs. Precision Mold identified root cause for production difficulties and poor tool
performance, interpreted their technical meaning and influence on the product manufacturability
to the jury in simple layman terms. Result: Customer was awarded multi-million dollar
settlement.
 Utilized DFSS principles for multi-shot products. Example: Recommended solution produced
warp-free class A” molded parts for Ford F-150 two shot exterior sound reduction seal. Result:
-Parts with consistent quality, precise fit, 15% weight reduction. Total cost savings of 50% on
new seal. Part received SPE award.
 Developed molding techniques for warp and scrap free high performance parts for medical, food,
electronics, and other industries, etc). Assisted in design, analyzed and troubleshot numerous
plastic parts and components for GM, Ford, Nissan, Chrysler, Honda, ITT Cannon,
Mitsubishi, Alcoa, Caterpillar, Zebra Atlantic, GSK, Siemens, West Pharmaceutical, etc.
 Developed and conducted training programs for executive, engineering and production personnel.
Topics covered polymer science, mold design, conventional and advanced molding practices and
fundamentals; presented papers at seminars and conferences on advances in CAE and advanced
technologies. Results: improved communication and understanding among different levels of
personnel, encouraged knowledge sharing and knowledge based decisions.
 Presented papers at ANTEC, SME and SPE conferences, published in professional magazines.
Conducted training and information seminars in computer aided engineering, advanced
technologies and cost saving methodologies

Senior Research Engineer: Developed processes for new products, materials, troubleshot and improved
existing manufacturing processes. Implemented training programs for executives, engineering and plant
personnel.
 Example: Identified inefficient and illogical manufacturing procedures. Initiated and implemented cost
saving procedures using advanced CAE techniques. Result: Improved productivity by 10%. Increased
capacity utilization by 20%. Cost Savings per plant $1M.
