providers in the world. Roadway Express/YRCW continues to be the leading transporter of industrial,
commercial, and retail goods specializing in solutions for businesses across North America.

Memphis TN. October 1995 to December 2009

Regional Service Center Manager 1995 - 2005


Managed all aspects of the terminal operation which included; sales, dock consolidation and
distribution operation, pick-up and delivery operation and yard operations. Managed a 23 million
dollar payroll. Lead a terminal staff of 350 labor employees and a 40+ supervisory and management
staff that contributed to generating in excess of 80 million dollars annually in revenue and processed
60 million pounds of product out of the dock monthly.
Operational Improvements:
• Increased revenue every year to become the largest outbound revenue terminal in the company.
• Significantly reduced supervisory turnover through effective leadership.
• Significantly improved productivity in all areas.

Line-haul Manager 2005 to 2009


Manages the day to day operations of both the Over the Road and Local Pick-up and Delivery
Operations. Lead staff of 400 road drivers, 60 local drivers and 23 supervisory / management
personnel with an average of 150 road dispatches a day and 1,500 Pick up and delivery shipments a
day. Continuously identifies process improvements to improve On-Time Service performance for the
customers and reduce costs in all areas of productivity and safety. Ensures compliance to all local,
state and federal regulations and compliance to the National master Freight Agreement.

Significant Contributions:
• Significantly improved cycle times, reduced delay costs by 58%, and improved On-Time Service
by 4% in year over year comparisons.
• Reduced the number of accidents by 61% and injuries by 36%.
• Significantly reduced absenteeism and improved overall driver productivity

Relay Manager / Assistant Terminal Mgr. Springfield, MO 1984 – 1994


Served as Relay and Assistant Terminal Manager for the terminal.
• Managed a road driver board in excess of 250 drivers.
• Successfully set the company record for safe driving miles as our relay drove over 10 million
miles without an accident.
• Promoted to Terminal Manager for the Meridian, MS operation.
