Why I choose Australia

My name is Amarsanaa.
I am a geodesy engineer in Mongolian Diving I would like to study at UNSW For
master degree in mining for following reasons :
I graduated Mongolian University of Science and Technology as a Mine surveying
engineer.
I started learning English in my 5th grade and I have been learning this language
for 8 years. I always wanted to study overseas to improve my knowledge as well
as my profession. Australia is one of the best in mining industry since most of
our export is mining minerals I wanted to be a mining
engineer. That is why I want to study in Australia. Studying in Australia will give
me opportunities to learn about Australian university life, expand my eyes to
campus intercultural diversity and increase my academic knowledge
First of all, in UNSW University I will study with International students: meet
different people with different cultures, which mean I will expend my knowledge
of other culture. I hope it may lead to future cooperation.
UNSW is a prestigious and well known world university. I am sure that my peers
will be the most gifted students. So I think I should be hard working and work as
a team with such excellent students.
Australia is one of the leading country in mining industry. In my opinion, there
are many things to learn from Australian mining industry. So it is very important
for our students to study at highly developed country like Australia. I am willing
to take part in development of our country
2. Study plan in Australia
During my time at UNSW university, I plan to maximize my Australian experience
by taking several classes in Mining Processes and Analysis and Management
Systems, both subjects which I am interested in. In my first semester I hope to
take courses such as Mine Ventilation. And Technology Management in Mining. Of
course, I hope to contribute my knowledge of mining and novel experience in
class. When I return to Mongolia, I will be able to utilize my learning on the field
in Mongolia mines.
To balance my studies and personal experiences, I also plan to be active in social
activities in sports and culture. During my time in Mongolian University of
Science and technology I started playing soccer and I really enjoyed it . I hope to
continue this sport in learn it in Australia. Through my active participation I will
be able to make many friends who I will in turn invite to Mongolia one day. Such
friendship may, in the future lead to basis of broader cooperation.
3. Return plan

After my return, I wish to build on my Australian experience. Armed with both

Mongolian and Australian education and practice, I hope to excel in my field
Mining.
