Adventure and

misadventure
Adventure and misadventure are inevitable in life. The anti-climax of
this years conference was in Mozambique and South Africa whereon
both frontsSatan and his demonic powers tightened the noose on
passage of entry to Zimbabwe. The Malawian delegation was caught
in a web-cob of dramatic episodes in Mozambique as Evangelist Carol
Ndlovu pleaded with South Africa authorities to grant her passage of
entry into Zimbabwe. But all in all, the devil is a liar. Today, as we look
back, we can testify to the goodness and faithfulness of God that, really,
He shall never leave or forsake us. Many may be the afflictions of the
righteous, but God shall deliver them out of all devilish manouvres,
schemes, wiles and whims. Amen!

Lifting holy hands unto the Lord

Ministers and intercessors

lift their holy hands to the
Lord in keeping with sacred
scripture in the biblical book
of Psalms 23. The lifting of
hands in prayer is the old
Jewish tradition. It means
I surrender all to you, oh
Lord! By lifting up hands,
intercessors were in a way
giving their burdens unto
Jesus and allowing God to
fight their battles. If God
is on our side, who can be
against us?

The conference is here to stay, more so considering CIC was birthed and
thrives in prayer and intercession.
When all is said and done, CIC shall be called a House of Prayer for
all Nations and posterity shall look back and praise God for men and
women of valour who travailed on their knees hours on end for CIC and
nations of the world.

At the 2014 conference, God spoke in unequivocal terms that CIC should
go back to the basics and revive the annual intercessory feast forthwith,
hence the theme Return and Repositioning for Restoration which has
been running for years now.

Rev Dr Terry
Warren, USA

Rev Victor
Makwinja, Malawi

The call is much alive today as it was when it was first issued 12 years ago.
The call was reiterated at the 2014 and 2015 conferences both of which
were held at Resthaven in Harare, Zimbabwe.

.......

The 2003 conference was scheduled to be held in Zimbabwe but due to

circumstances beyond CIC control, it was shifted to Lilongwe in Malawi.
Unlike the first two conferences, participants to the 2003 conference were
called upon to form 24-Hour Prayer Watches.

The 2014 conference marked the revival of the event after it had gone
into doldrums for some years after the Kempton Park Conference in
2010 due to financial constraints.

The first intercessory feast took place in Gaborone, Botswana, in 2001

and the following year, it moved to Resthaven in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Resthaven has over the years become a lovely and favourite haven
for CIC intercessors because of its tranquility, serenity, gorgeous
surroundings, intercessory-friendly atmosphere with adequate supporting
infrastructure. It is also centrally located making it easy to connect flights
to and from any part of the world.

It is in the light of this that participants to such conferences are also,

among other things, expected to:
Understand clearly the Lords instruction regarding 24-hour prayer
watches.
Be equipped and prepared to develop, train, assist and monitor
watchmen.
Strategise how to develop and sustain 24-hour prayer watches.
Learn how to collect and compile data on the prayer watches and
accordingly submit reports to appropriate authorities.
Share experiences and enhance the spirit of unity and singlemindedness among watchmen and all brethren.

Apostle Baffuor Kwaku

Agyare, Ghana

The Right Reverend

Dr JA Ansah

The conference, whose participants are mainly CIC pastors and

intercessors, pools together CIC leaders from all over the world where
CIC has its footprintsGhana, Togo, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Uganda,
Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho, the UK and USA.

....................

....................

The intercessory feast dates back to around 2000 when Godthrough

the Office of the Presiding Bishop, The Right Reverend Dr Joseph Addo
Ansahcommissioned the conference as a mandatory annual event for
CIC leaders and intercessors.

The call came from the Holy Spirit on 22 September 2003 so that CIC
members are thoroughly equipped and prepared to thwart and stand
against end-time whims and wiles of Satan.

.......

.......

Its objectives are varied although dominant ones are two(1) to accord
CIC leaders and intercessors worldwide an opportunity to pray and
intercede together and (2) to equip CIC leaders and intercessors with
deep and profound knowledge in prayer and intercession.

Intercessor Jean
Pankuku, Malawi

Intercessor Gertrude
Kalinde Thaulo, Malawi

When all is said and done, CIC shall be called a House of

Prayer for all Nations and posterity shall look back and
praise God for men and women of valour who travailed on
their knees hours on end for CIC and nations of the world.

Jiving for the Lord

Slain
by the
Holy
Spirit
Awesome! The atmosphere was electrifying as the
presence of the Lord was so enormous. In this
heavenly ambiance, the presence of the Holy Spirit
was so tangible that knees could not hold bodies as
leaders, one-by-one, were slain to the ground by the
marvellous power of God.

It does not get sweeter than

this! Participants to the 2015
Ministers and Intercessors
International Conference
singing and dancing for the
Lord. Singing is a powerful
weapon in spiritual warfare.
It unleashes full voltage of
the wrath of God on Satan
and his deviant agents.
Singing expresses in simple,
clear and deeper way the
brokenness of ones heart.
And a contrite spirit and a
broken heart is a sacrifice
which the Lord will never
despise. Apart from being
an intercessory banquet,
the conference was also a
gargantuan choral festival.

First-timers experience
Intercessor Makamohelo
Khobotio, South Africa
I have learnt that as an
intercessor I have to be
humble, holy and obey God
all the time. When I go
home, I will be stronger than
ever because I now know the
principles of intercession.
When I go home, I will teach
others about prayer and
intercession.

participants to the conference came from the US, UK, Ghana,
South Africa, Lesotho, Malawi and the host, Zimbabwe. The
event, which started with intercessory prayers on 13 April
2015, climaxed with anointing and awarding of certificates
of attendance to participants. During the conference

Highlights Through The Lens

Intercessor Mordecai
Chimedza, Zimbabwe
It has been a good
experience. Most of us
want results but we are not
interested in the process
that can produce those
results. I have learnt to put
the Kingdom of God and
His righteousness first,
everything else should come
second. When I go back,
I will spend more time in
fasting and prayer.

Intercessor Liteboho

I have learnt how to establish
and monitor 24-hour prayer
watches. When I go back,
I will practise and teach
others what I have learnt. I,
would, however, appreciate
if we were given handouts
on all the teachings we have
received.

punctuated by testimonies, prophesies and visionsthe

power of God was so immense and the teaching of the
Word was so profound. The participants parted ways with a
hearty luncheon at Paulas Restaurant in Harare. Surely, this
conference will go down into the annals of history of CIC as
one of the most remarkable and memorable events.

Intercessor Dr Janelisa
Mwalija, Malawi
It was an inspiring
conference with useful
sermons for Christian
development. I feel very
much empowered in
the area of prayer and
intercession. I will impart
knowledge gained to others.

Minister Isaac Bingala,

Malawi
It was a wonderful meeting.
I have no regrets being
here. I have learnt that a
leader should also lead in
intercession just as Jesus
is our major intercessor. I
have learnt that God called
us to intercede.
