*NOTE:
HMIS rating involves data interpretations that may vary from company to
company. They are intended only for rapid, general identification on the
magnitude of the specific hazard. To deal adequately with the safe handling of
this material, all the information contained in this MSDS must be considered.
SECTION 4
INHALATION:
INGESTION/ASPIRATION:
CONTACT SKIN/EYES:
GENERAL MEASURES:
In case of hot wax burns, cool the liquid material quickly with plenty of water; it
is not recommended to remove the solidified wax without medical assistance. Call
a doctor, and treat as a normal hot-burn.
Seek medical attention.

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS:
PERSONAL PROTECTION:
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP:
Avoid contact with molten product and vapor inhalation from hot waxes.
The material is solid at room temperature. There is low hazard of physical fouling.
Gloves and goggles against hot liquid splashes are recommended.
Solid spills are shoveled into containers for later recovery or disposal. Liquid
spills are removed after solidifying.
SECTION 7
HANDLING:
General Precautions: Avoid contact with molten product. Paperboards and paper
containers impregnated with wax burn easily. Do not eat, drink, or smoke in areas
where the material is handled.
Specific conditions: Protective mask in presence of hot vapors from molten
product.
Specific Use: Rubber and rubber tires.
Temperature and decomposition products: NP.
Dangerous reactions: NP.
Storage conditions: Stored in form of pearls in containers properly labeled and
sealed. Avoid the spreading of the material in accidental releases. Security firefighting systems.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidants and flames.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
ACUTE AND CHRONIC EFFECTS:
Vapor inhalation and contact with skin and eyes. Ingestion is not frequent.
In solid state it does not present any contact hazard to skin or eyes and any
inhalation hazard or if it is swallowed. Overexposure to fumes generated from
heating may cause nausea, irritation to eyes, nose, throat, and respiratory tract.
No evidence.
No evidence.
Respiratory deficiencies and dermatological problems in case of vapor inhalation.

SECTION 12
ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
POLLUTANT POTENTIAL:
Persistence and degradability: Waxes have straight hydrocarbon chains with low
water solubility, which slows down the biodegradation process, not stopping it. It
is not readily removed from the aqueous environment.
Mobility/ bioaccumulative potential: No bioaccumulative problems in living
organisms or incidence in the tropic food chain.
Waxes are insoluble and solid at ambient temperature, not presenting significative
physical, meaning a proper cleaning when spills occur. This product is not
expected to represent a long-term danger to the aquatic environment.
