Retained to evaluate sales and revenue strategies. Implemented sales plans to improve room sales, catering and
hotel outlets revenue.
Evaluated all sales strategies, defined new markets, and trained sales staff for three hotels in unique
geographic markets including a downtown San Diego hotel as well as highway travel centers in Wyoming and
Arizona.
Conducted market analysis and recommended reallocation of space to include meeting facility. Efforts
resulted in added revenue in food and beverage, rooms and conference space.
Developed new markets, built relationships and added revenue from previously untapped market sectors.
2008 - 2009
Represented 89 hotels from La Jolla to Oceanside California, market segments included 20% in luxury market,
40% mid-range and 40% limited service.
Increased sales by 27% over prior year. Assessed and redefined sales strategies, envisioned new marketing
plan, identified talent, hired staff, and managed annual budget of $3.5 million.
1998 - 2008
Hired to organize pre-opening, sales, marketing and staffing of new luxury 775-room hotel. Collaborated and
communicated with sales group for 850-room Little America Hotel to enhance performance of both properties.
