Program Electives

This innovative program is designed around MIT Sloan Executive Educations three Executive Certificate tracksManagement and Leadership; Strategy and Innovation; and Technology, Operations and Value Chain Management. Participants
will come together as a cohort for the three core modules, both
in person and online. Each participant also will have the option
of selecting electives of interest to them from the portfolio of
open enrollment programs offered by MIT Sloan Executive
Education.

Participants will have to enroll and complete 45 days of elective programs by choosing from the existing 2 or 3 day open
enrollment programs offered at MIT. This allows participants
to further pursue topics that are particularly relevant to their
experience or business challenges. This also gives participants
access to a variety of professors in critical research areas of
interest and a chance to network and learn from executives
outside of the EPGM cohort.

In addition to the classroom work, EPGM will include 360

feedback and peer coaching to enhance participants leadership capabilities and prepare them for increased responsibility in their careers. The course will also include simulations,
case studies, and group projects that are designed to make
the knowledge actionable and applicable to real life business
problems.
The cohort aspect of the EPGM program provides participants
with a peer group of executives with similar business challenges to engage with and discuss the content between modules
and how to apply it to their careers. Through the use of discussion boards and other interactive technologies, conversations
will be able to continue between classroom modules at a pace
convenient for participants.

Some electives are held at the MIT Sloan classrooms and

some at nearby Cambridge hotels. Please note that enrollment
to electives is not guaranteed and depends on the program
availability.
