For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should
not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
What makes most is love. Love is the most important part of our lives. Because God is love, the most
important lesson He wants us to learn is how to love.
I. The Giver of Love God The God of the Bible, the God who made the world, the God whom we
came, the God whom we go as our Judge, the God of Israel, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is not any other God. The Christian God. God the Father.
Word connotes a bad image; it is a sinful world; it is a fallen world, a rebellious world.
IV. The Love Given Only begotten Son; one and only Son; Jesus Christ the eternal Son of God
V. Off___ of Love Whosoever; Everyone; inclusive world wide invitation; individuals here and there
VI. Requirements of Love Believe; trust; faith
Believes in us, believes that, believing that Christ died for our sins is not saving faith. Believing in the
Christ who died for your sins is saving faith.
VII. The Results (Effects) of Love Not perish; destroy; ruin; disintegration; death; separation
Everlasting life fulfilling, satisfying quantity and quality kind of life; opposite of death
VIII. Application of Love The best way to spell love is T-I-M-E
Whenever you give your time, you are making a sacrifice. Sacrifice is the essence of love.
Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you and gave Himself to God as a
sacrifice to take away your sins.

Love means giving up yielding my preferences, comforts, goals, security, money, energy or time for
the benefit of someone else.
You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.
