Introduction:
Why do people travel? One is visiting some place for a reason and then go as a tourist or
you can directly go as a tourist. You already know that tourism is an activity done by an
individual or a group, moving from one place to another, from a country to another for
performing a specific task, or a visit to a place or several places for entertainment which leads to
an awareness of other civilizations and cultures and history for not more than 1 consecutive year.
Tourism is an important industry that depends on culture and science and has a direct impact on
the national revenue for all touristic countries. There are different purpose of visit or travelling
that includes leisure, special interest, education, business, and other recreational activities.
Tourists may travel to experience a change in climate and place and learn something new, enjoy
pleasant scenery, or to know more about the culture of a destination. Tourists, who seek break
from the stress of day to day life, devote their holiday to rest and relaxation, refresh themselves.
These tourists prefer to stay in some quiet and relaxed destination preferably at a hill resort,
beach resort or island resort. Nowadays tourists undertake various adventure sports activities for
leisure and to refresh themselves after working hard.
Tourism comes in different forms where each activity or objective that is undertaken for
the purpose of leisure and pleasure that can be a distinct form of tourism. There are different
forms of tourism which tourists can experience according to their preferences. Adventure
Tourism is form of tourism that involves certain amount of risk and excitement. Culinary
tourism, where tourists travel to different destinations in order to experience the taste and
uniqueness of gastronomy. Disaster tourism which people travel to disaster areas out of curiosity.
Dark tourism which refers to visit of tourists to areas that were once sites of events involving
death, suffering and grief. Ecotourism is a form of tourism that promotes the advocacy of
protection and preservation of the natural resources. LGBT Tourism otherwise known as Gay
Tourism and also called Pink Tourism these people are belong to the group of lesbian, gay,
bisexual, and transgender. So these forms of tourism is a big help to our community and to our
economy.

Positive effect:
Lot of positive effect can Tourism brought to society also the employment will be
increase for the labor intensive, few administrative positions, and little upward mobility. Many
infrastructure development (roads, water, electricity, telecom and cybercam, but not necessarily
local priorities. The cultural preservation (economic incentives to preserve food, fashion,
festivals and physical history, but these tend to be superficial elements of a culture. The
environmental protection (econ incentives to preserve nature, wildlife and urban cleanliness of
the place visited. The foreign exchange (generates resources to import food, pharmaceuticals,
technology, consumer goods. And the development of health care services of those these aren't
always available to local people.

Negative effect:
The cultural destruction, modernization, world mono-culture, freezes culture as performers,
loss of language, religion, rituals, material, and culture. The primary products sun, sand, surf,
safari, suds, ski, and sex has a little value added and neo-colonialism. An environmental
destruction game drives, resorts, golf, ski, beach, desert, and world as play ground. The marginal
employment like low skill, low wage, menial services, prostitution, drug trade, gambling, and
hustlers. Also the low benefits the no job security, no health care, no organizing, no work safety
rules or environment standards. The development of illegal and destructive economic activities
like markets for drugs, endangered species, and outside hiring also skilled middle and senior
management recruited out of the area and transferred in. The concentration employment that
walled resort enclaves. Seasonal employment in outside decision, making decisions made outside
of the area, and corporate dollars corrupt government. The unrealistic expectations divert young
people from school and brighter futures, the anti-democratic collusion of industry support of
repressive governments. The negative lifestyle's diverted and concentrated development airport,
roads, water, electricity to tourist destinations, development not accessible to locals. Solutions
for visitor to act and to support cultural diversity, engage in activities that add value to the
community, dont do activities that deteriorate the environment, dont engage in illegal activities,
act to disperse the benefits, patronize locally community owned enterprises. Solutions for the
host support the traditional cultural legacy training and education in local culture, history, natural
science, etc. Select development and activities that draw from local traditions and add value to
the community dont promote activities that deteriorate the environment, dont engage in illegal
activities, must adopt a program to disperse the benefits, patronize locally produced products and
locally (community) owned enterprises and make business and foreign exchange transactions
transparent and efficient.

Reaction/Conclusion:
Nowadays, people are more aware of destinations and attractions, have money to spend,
and need break from their routine stressful life. They take breaks to refresh and relax or may
travel for some psychological and social needs. Tourism service providers need to understand
what motivates a person to travel. Various purposes have been categorized and these have led to
different forms of tourism. The popular and most basic form of tourism is leisure tourism, under
which family tourism, cultural tourism, religious tourism, sports tourism are included. Business
tourism is also getting momentum. Tourism brings money into a country. Building an airport
gives hundreds of people jobs, because construction workers are needed to perform the
fabrication. Then there are thousands of people who get jobs to run the airport.
Once you and your friends and thousands of other people start flying in to different
country, accommodation like hotels are needed. This means hotel companies come and spend
millions of dollars to pay the government for permits to build, they pay construction workers to
build the hotels, and they give jobs to people who run the hotels. This all happens even before
you travel. Once you're off the plane, you pay the hotels and you spend money to go sightseeing.
This pays the salaries of tour guides, boat captains, cab drivers etc. Also while in the country,
you'll likely be buying meals and going out for drinks or entertainment or buying souvenirs, all
of which give money to the people. So, in essence, in almost any country, tourism is a welcome
boost to the country's economy, but especially in countries where there is a high level of poverty
and a slow job market, tourism lends millions of dollars to people very much in need of income.
