Greetings to all of you again this month from the heart of America where night & day prayer
continues to ascend before the Lord. Even as our nation plunges deeper into rebellion against God
and gross darkness is over the land, we still pray. We pray and worship 24/7, because our Lord is still
upon His throne and He is worthy of unceasing adoration! We pray because, as 2 Chron. 7:14 and
other Scriptures assure us, God will hear us and there is yet hope for healing our land. Has there ever
been a greater need for around the clock intercession, for a continual solemn assembly of prayer and
fasting before the God of all the earth? Join us online, or come visit the Global Prayer Room and lift
your cry along with us. Or start a prayer meeting in your home or church! Awake, arise and shine for
the glory of the Lord is rising upon us. Now is the time, now is the hour for the church to not shrink

On the MOVE again!

After two years at the cabin (our small log house on the
edge of Grandview) we have moved once again! We are so
excited for the door the Lord has opened for our family to
live now in south KC, very near the Global Prayer Room &
Missions Base where most all our activities and ministries
take place. Several months ago the Lord began impressing
upon us we would be moving, so in March we began seeking
Him about the next step. We felt two things He desired were
that we have a bigger home for ministry purposes, and that
we open our home and invite our son, Jeremiah, and his wife
Shawna and their two (soon to be three) daughters to live
with us. So the search began for a new house a house for
2 families and 10 people!
We have shared with a number of you about this and invited you to be in prayer with us about Gods perfect relocation plan.
So we want to tell some of the story of how God led us to this home. When we first began looking for houses in March, the
landscape was pretty bleak! The housing market has rebounded since we first moved to KC in 2012, so housing prices are
much higher. We initially thought to look into purchasing a home, but the Lord closed doors and began to also speak to us
in other ways that He wanted us to continue leasing/renting. That makes for a much higher monthly house payment, and we
needed a minimum of 5 bedrooms. We were going to look at many 4-bedroom houses with extra rooms that we could
make-do with, some had only one bathroom and overall were very cramped. Often the rent was $1500/mo or higher!
At one point as I (Jim) was in prayer, I just felt the Lord say, What do you really want
in a home? I just blurted out, I want 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I felt strange
asking for such a large home, but then I realized I was not asking for myself, but for the
vision we have (and have always had) of opening our home to others whether it be to
our own family or to children through Safe Families, or whatever the Lord would lead
us to do. So, I felt the Lord encourage me, Ask Me for such a house. So I did. And I
let Melissa and our family know that this was what I was asking the Lord for.
We continued searching and looking at several houses. We did find a 6-bedroom(sort
of), 3-bath home for $1750/mo in Grandview (by far the cheapest rental for a home that
size we had seen), but when we went to look the landlord was there and said she had
decided to sell it. Then one day in April, an e-mail came to Melissa about a home that
was coming up for lease on July 1, a 6-bedroom (actual bedrooms), 3-bath home for
$1250/mo. When she looked up the address, she discovered the house was only a few
blocks (easy walking distance) from the Prayer Room! We felt the Lord impress upon
us act quickly, so we immediately began calling all the numbers listed and emailing
the emails.

Our lease was up on the cabin on June 30, so the move-in date was perfect. The listing on the new house said that it would
not be available for showing until sometime in May, but when we got on the website that schedules showings there were
dates listed in April - a few days ahead - so by faith we just scheduled a showing. We finally got ahold of one of the staff of
the property management company, and she said since we had (somehow) got a date scheduled online she would see if the
current renters would allow us to see it, even though showings were not until May. She said, You would not believe the
amount of calls & emails weve had. If you want the house you need to decide right away. We went to see it, and it was
perfect! We began the processes immediately and were accepted. One more time as we were closing the agreement, the
property management lady said, I have a lot of people mad at me because you got this house so quickly!
We know this is a lengthy story, but we want to testify to Gods goodness and His perfect leadership! A final kiss from the
Lord on this story: The new house is very similar in appearance and layout to the house we left behind in Joplin when we
moved to Kansas City. It was hard to leave that house behind because we had a true God-story on how we had gotten that
house as well, and we all loved it so much. The Lord has shown us that He is giving back what we gave up to follow Him.
He is so faithful!

From the Murder of Innocent Abel..(Matt. 23:35) Part 2

Back in April, I gave part 1 of this article. Genesis chapter 4 tells the tragic story of how the first person born on earth, Cain,
became a murderer who shed the innocent blood of a family member, his own brother. I asked in that article, What if you could
go stand on the very spot where this took place? What ancient principality is rooted there? What does this spot commemorate
for the demonic kingdom? What was unleashed upon earth at the first shedding of innocent blood, and what is unleashed or
strengthened at every subsequent shedding of innocent blood on earth?
Today I went again to the Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Overland Park to hold a prayer
vigil. There were 3 others there when I arrived. After awhile the three had to leave and I was left
alone to pray. I spoke briefly to one precious woman as she entered the facility, encouraging her
to choose life. As I prayed alone, I wondered again how many lives had ended within their
mothers womb over the years at this facility. How much innocent blood has been spilled upon
this ground? I then remembered what the Lord had stirred within me back in February, and what I
started to put into writing in our April newsletter.
The Lord showed me there is a direct connection between the shedding of innocent blood and the
demonic realm. It is in some sense the fuel upon which the demonic operates. We know that for
centuries the demonic, pagan world has fed upon child sacrifices, and it continues to do so today
its called abortion.
Globally, 41 million children a year are sacrificed to abortion. Could it be that this is providing more power to the demonic
system than any other single thing taking place on the planet? Is abortion ultimately the most profuse fueling of demonic
power the world has ever known? We are repulsed by infamous pagan and occult practices where women are impregnated only
in order to have children to be used for sacrifices. But abortion has caused this very repulsive practice to go viral and become
normal! 41 million a year lets take the blinders off and see what is really happening. Abortion is the greatest religious
sacrifice movement the world has ever known.
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus says, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 1 John 3:8 says, The
reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. Ephesians 6:12 says, We do not wrestle against flesh
and blood, but against the cosmic power over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil. If the churchs
assignment on earth is to overcome the gates of hell (and it is), then the churchs assignment on earth is to end abortion. The
iron that makes up hells gates was fashioned in the fires fueled by the shedding of innocent childrens blood.

FINAL WORD: We continue to rejoice that since moving to Kansas City and joining the pro-life movement here, we
have seen a KC abortion clinic close their doors, and as reported last month, the Planned Parenthood office in
Grandview has now closed! Standing for life and the ending of abortion is just one of the ministries we are involved in
at the IHOPKC Missions Base. Thank you all again so much for your prayers and support! Please note that though
