PROJECTS Formula SAE 2011-(Fall 2009-Spring 2011)

Presently I am in my college's FORMULA SAE team (Engine Research and development department). In this
event we have to fabricate a race-car parallel to the design of a formula 1 car. The vehicle is powered by a 600 cc
four stroke-engine. The vehicle will be sent to FSAE India 2011 and most likely to FSAE ITALY -2011 also.

BAJA SAE India Orientation Program-(Spring 2009)

Attended the college's BAJA India Orientation program for the team of 2009-2010. In this program we were
assigned the task, to improve the conditions of the existing vehicle which went to BAJA India 2009.We
had to study the entire vehicle and find the existing flaws and hence rectify them.Seeing my performance in this
program I was upgraded to participate in Formula SAE.

Backyard project of "Turbo charger Gas Turbine Engine"-(Fall 2010)

Currently involved in fabricating a Gas Turbine Engine from a turbocharger as a self funded house backyard
project. This involves in the creation of the entire unit of the turbine engine rite from the combustion chamber
to the ECU units, where we will be using an old second hand turbocharger from a generator unit.

Fabrication of a "Variable Wheel Base Car"-(Fall 2008)

I helped my 4th year senior in fabricating a variable wheel base car. The car was powered by a 2 stroke
Auto-Rickshaw engine mounted at the rear end of the vehicle.The chassis was divided into two parts in which
the first part was connected by the rear part with a rack and pinion system.On rotating the pinion lever the
of the vehicle could be altered. For this project we got a A+ grade.

Restoration of an old motorbike in the college campus-(Fall 2008)

During my first year of college I restored a 100 cc two stoke Yamaha bike where by conditioning the engine
and the gearbox of the vehicle, thus making it run. Also helped my senior in restoring a 250 cc two stroke
JAWA where we worked on the entire bike rite from conditioning the engine to painting the bike.

Mechanical help in "Hydrogen Powered Engine"-(Fall 2008)

I helped an alumni of my institution, who was doing his MS from University Of Bath - United Kingdom, in
his final year project of installing a hydrogen powered engine on a two stroke scooter and thereby taking the
emission reading and also testing it on the Dynamometer.

ACHIEVEMENTS I was the school topper in my results for tenth grade(CBSE) scoring an aggregate of 91.4%(out of 60 students).

Was the school topper in LG OLYMPIAD held all over India.

Won the second prize in the recitation competition DISTRICT LEVEL. Later on represented the school in
State level.

I was the First student of the institution (in my batch) to get SAE membership in the first year itself
(out of 7000 students), as the collegiate club's policy, no 1st year was allowed in the SAE club.

Took part in my institution's SRM ROBOLYMPIX(2009) event were we fabricated robots for the events. The
team won 4 medals out of 6.

Was the first first year to get a spot in the institution's FSAE team where I was recommended by my seniors to
the team officials.
 I was selected out of 55 students for an industrial visit to a foundry where 8 people went (including me). This
was organized by the FSAE team.

I was the only selected student to be interviewed by the American accreditation board -ABET, representing the
sophomores from the School of Mechanical Engineering SRM University.

EXTRACIRRICULAR Served as the School Head Boy(2006), Vice Head Boy(2008) and House Captain(2004-2006)in my school.

I was selected for a project by NDTV to make a 15 minutes documentary on the life of people
Delhi University(2008). We competed with 5 different schools and won the first prize.

I won many inter-house and inter-school guitar competitions. Presently I am in the official college band
as a guitarist.

I have represented my school in various painting competitions. I won many certificates for that also.

I was in the Organizing committee (International Publicity Department) for my Techfest "AARUUSH09".
