internet service. Designed with home and small office users
in mind, BettaSat delivers an affordable Ku-band satellite
service anywhere in southern Africa. Perfect for remote and
under-serviced areas, BettaSat offers high-speed internet
access at a fixed monthly cost. BettaSat is compatible
with the Vox Supafone (an internet phone), which means

that youll also be able to make and receive calls, using

satellite internet. With the advanced iDirect Evolution
Satellite Teleport colocated at Vox Telecoms head office in
Johannesburg, youll have access to a low latency satellite
service that is affordable, wide-reaching, quick to install and
highly reliable.

The service is delivered off iDirects sophisticated Evolution

satellite communications platform, using fixed, small
satellite terminals to deliver high-availability connectivity
via Ku-band.

Satellite internet access works just like satellite TV

(e.g. DStv) and operates according to the same technology;
namely, a satellite in orbit that communicates with the mini
dish outside your home at lightning fast speeds.
