waterproofing membranes
Uses

Specification

To protect waterproofing membranes against impact and

abrasion damage from site traffic and from coarse or sharp
materials during backfill operations.

The waterproofing membrane shall be protected from

mechanical damage by a protection board, nominal thickness
3.5 mm, supplied by Fosroc. Such protection board shall be
weather, water and rot-proof.

n Light and easily handled

Fosroc protection boards can be cut with a sharp knife.

n Low water absorption

On both horizontal and vertical applications, boards should

be abutted and joints taped using 50 mm wide strips of self
adhesive membrane cut from the roll.

Protection boards should be adhered to the membrane using

Fosrocs Plastiseal bitumen rubber, cold applied sealant.
