CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Played a key role in the development of programs and tools to support sourcing, staffing, and training while at
Philz Coffee. Assessed leaderships ability to on board the right fit in all levels of the organization. This would
include collaborating with Human Resources in constructing a seminar to support the training of all levels of
management in the organization.
Established Philz Coffee internal controls associated with all financial reporting associated with all retail
locations. I worked with all necessary departments and collaborated with the operations team to accomplish
this quickly with the intent of building efficiency in the business model at Philz.
Spearheaded efforts and significantly improved the method of opening new locations at Philz Coffee, which
enriched teamwork and communication, while reducing the number of issues, which increased the
effectiveness of all departments and their role in new locations. This included the development of a New
Store Opening Manual, Monthly/Weekly Checklists and Check-Ins.
Developed and organized General Manager Conferences, which included creative learning content, awards
and recognition programs, and entertainment. I took charge of this responsibility at three companies in which
I worked in the training department, this contributed to the overall culture and morale in each company.
Lead Annual Strategic Plans for Starbucks Northern California focusing on the specific areas of People/Talent
and Business. Included in this role was directing a team of District Managers and Store Managers in support
of Quarterly and Annual Goals with a focus on talent development and business acumen.
Focused on leveraging the talent of my management team on by leading a well-rounded approach on partner,
customer, and business which result in my being recognized as District Manager of the Year, for the
Northwest Region at Starbucks.. This strategy resulted in growth in the development of my team, store count
