Assignment title

Affecting environmental factors and responsibilities of all parties in

construction process (2 of 2)

Purpose of this assignment

By carrying out this assignment learners will understand environmental factors that can affect the
construction process and they will know how to solve when these factors are affected in planning and
design phases of the construction. Learners will understand which method is suitable for preventing the
environmental affects. Learners will also know who is responsible for what in construction projects.
Scenario
As you work within the construction of VUC campus project, you have been targeted as a
representative role within the construction project. You have to be able to set out the corporate and
personal responsibilities under legislation. In the construction, while designing, developing and using
technology is linked to the evolution of our species, our future existence will be influenced greatly by
technologies currently being, or yet to be, designed and created. Your role within the construction is to
select equipment from specific areas of technology and develop a rich repertoire of skills and
techniques to respond to the design brief in a practical, achievable and safe way. You have been to plan
and manage to designer planners and builders. The sequential steps of the construction processes as
the effect of technological advances on the various phases to assure quality products and systems of
the project.
Task 3a : (LO 3: 3.1 )
Discuss the environmental factors that affect the planning and design phases of construction projects.
Task 3b: (LO 3: 3.2,3.3)
Evaluate environmentally responsible methods for disposing of waste materials and promoting
environmental efficiency.
Task 4 (LO 4: 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3)
Explain the roles and responsibilities involved in the planning, design phases and the production phase
and evaluate the corporate and personal responsibilities of all parties involved in construction projects.
For D1, make the conclusion of critical reflection of roles, responsibilities and corporative impact of all
parties involved in construction project.

Task 5: (LO 5: 5.1, 5.2)

Discuss the modern technology available to designers, planners and builders and evaluate the effect of
technological advances on the various phases of construction projects.
For M3, analyze the appropriate technique to assemble and control complex systems to meet
performance of structural designer of the present day.
For D2, investigate the change in advances modern method of construction material; in the production
process of new development.
