Arrive in Beijing in the morning. We will head to Tian An Men Square first. As the largest city
square in the world, it is bordered by the Great Hall of the People and Chairman Maos Mausoleum.
Then tour to the Forbidden City, the complex of imperial palace, which was home to the Emperors
for over 500 years. Grand halls and courts gradually give way to more intimate domestic quarters,
giving an insight into the pampered isolation of the emperors. Before lunch, we will spend
sometime at the most famous Silk Store the right place to buy silk products of the best quality.
The first place to go in the afternoon is Niujie Mosque -- the oldest Mosque with over one thousand
years history. Dzohor and Asar prayers will be held here. Then we will stop by at Muslim
Supermarket the only supermarket for Muslims in Beijing. Enjoy the wonderful Acrobatic Show
after dinner.
We will visit Jade Museum in the morning - a place helps you to have a better understanding on
Chinese culture. Then comes the highlight of our China tour, the climbing of the Great Wall of
China. First built in the Warring States period (475-221BC) as a series of earthworks erected by
individual kingdoms as a defense against each other as well as from invasions from the north,
the wall we see in the present day was left from the Ming dynasty. Next is the Photo stop at
The Birds Nest and The Water Cube. Go to Burning Cream Centre in the afternoon.
Our evening time will be devoted to the Wang Fu Jing Shopping Street and its Night Food Market,
where you will see a collection of Halal snacks.
Visit Fresh Water Pearl Center in the morning, where the best pearls will be presented.
The Third day of our Beijing trip starts with the visit to the Summer Palace. Being the largest
imperial garden in China, the Summer Palace was first built in the Qing emperor Qianlongs time
in 1751 and burned down in1860 by the French and British army. It was restored in 1886 by the
Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment. The park became a favorite haunt of Cixi, who
preferred it to the Forbidden City, and named it Yihe Yuan meaning the garden of health and
harmony. Pray at the Ming dynasty-built Nan Dou Ya Mosque after lunch a Mosque with unique
Chinese style & hundreds years of history. We will then have a professional Foot Massage at the
Chinese Traditional Medicine Center (also called Herbal Medicine Center), followed by a fabulous
tea ceremony at the Tea House. And later on visit the Xiu Shui Market and Ya Xiu Market.
