yourpersonallifevision.Discoveringandimplementingyourpersonalvisionisaprocessof
learningaboutyourself,growinginyourrelationshipandknowledgeoftheLord,andcontinually
finetuningyourunderstandingofthevisionGodhasgivenyou.Therefore,whenyouwriteyour

statementisageneralstatementofwhatyouwanttohaveaccomplishedwhenyourlifeisover.
Askyourselfwhereyouwanttobeone,five,ten,twenty,thirtyyearsfromnow.Jotdownyour
ideasandcontinuetothinkandprayaboutthem.Summarizeyourvisionforyourlifeinjustone
sentence.Thisisaspecificstatementofwhatyouwanttodoinlife.Itshouldbewhatmotivates
youandkeepsyougoingtowardyourdream.StepFour:DiscoverYourTrueMotivationAvision
fromGodisneverselfish.Itwillalwayshelporupliftothersinsomeway.Itisdesignedtomake
thelivesofhumankindbetterandtoimprovesociety.Itinspiresandbuildsupothers.

willandwontdo.Theseprinciplesareyourguidesforliving,doingbusiness,relatingtobther
people,andrelatingtolife.Youmustsettletheminyourheartandmindsothatyouwillhave
standardstoliveby.TheTenCommandmentsaregreatprinciplesandagoodstartingpointfor
developingyourownprinciples.Forexample,youcouldwrite,Onmywaytomyvision,Iwill
notsteal,lie,orbearfalsewitness.IwontworshipanygodbutGodtheFather.Iwillnotcommit
adultery.Iwillnotcovet,andsoon.Writeoutyourlifeprinciples.StepSix:ChooseYourGoals
andObjectivesGoalsarethestepsnecessarytofulfillyourvisionWhatpracticalthingsdoyou
needtodotoaccomplishyourdream?Goalsareclearmarkersthatwilltakeyouwhereyouneed
togo.Writeoutyourgoals.Objectivesarethedetailedstepsofyourgoals.Theydeterminewhen

howlargetheymayseem.Writethemdown.Writedownyourstrengths.Whoareyou?Whatare
yourgifts?Whatdoyouknowyouaregoodat?Writedownyouranswers,andthenmakeplansto
refineyourstrengths.Forexample,ifyourvisionrequiresthatyouhavetospeakbeforelarge
groupsofpeople,youhavetostartsteppingoutanddoingit.Youreprobablygoingtobescaredat
first,yetGodwillgiveyouopportunitiestospeakatdifferentstagessoyoucandevelopyourgift.
