A motivation on why do I want to pursue this course?

I strongly believe that regular learning and consistent updating are the strongest diets to the professional
people; that assist them to hone professionalism and upgrade their working efficiency. It matters more than
all when it comes to an individual immersed in service based academic organization. So is the case of
mine.
There are five basic reasons which have overwhelmingly made me keen in developing an ingrained desire
and quest in order to pursue this course. They are: positive attitude towards learning, interest of developing
skills, official suitability and cooperation, intensity and pertinence of the course and profuse prospects of
benefits to my work and nation respectively.
The most important and the strongly governing reason for pursuing the training course is based on my
positive attitude towards learning. Sooner or later, every learning bountifully assists people in course of
their profession. The passion of learning something new and that is of international standard has been very
inviting to me, in every mode of my career. Besides positive attitude towards learning, the indomitable
spirit of pursuing this course is because of its pertinence to me. I deem that the course, which is on
communication and journalism, is entirely matching for my educational track and current job as well. Since
I did my Masters Degree in Communication and Journalism, with dissertation on International
Communication, the training helps me to practically experiment, verify and rectify the notion that I have
had attitudinized theoretically during my studies. And the regular duty of mine as communication officer in
UGC of Nepal gets further cemented because I could be better equipped to deal my duties and
responsibilities with more clear and result oriented communication. Innovating and enriching myself with
new paradigms of communication will further help me grow good in the current job.
Training helps me develop some new communicative skills and that will be a great boon for exploration
of horizons in making communication process and activities competent and productive. Not less
importantly, the due cooperation on behalf of my office also has supported to cultivate the interest of
pursuing the training. Since this is a short term course, office wont have any taxing burden to make proxy
in my absence. On the top of all, even being conscious of the personal benefits, I have profusely
assimilated the value of training to benefit my office and my nation through the purification and
improvements in service delivery, which I have been doing, in assistance of better communication that I
learn in training.
I regard, communication is lifeblood of an organization; effective communication always marks infinite
contribution to effectuate organizational life, hence every institutional person needs to be equipped the best
of these skills. I was always eager and looking for such opportunities. It was my great fortune, that you
have announced the fellowship.
Because of these, I do have invincible zeal to apply for the training course.

How will my Country benefit from the course?

In my supposition, though it sounds technically awkward; and people have rights to annul
and rebut, the notion of nation is quite abstract, nonetheless I postulate that country is not
only the geography, boundary and climate of any region. Predominantly, country stands for
accumulation of total characteristics of all the people living there in. Hence, if any person
remains benefitted because of any programme or activities, it should be inferred and
endorsed as benefitting the country, in larger or smaller extent. Thus, irrefutably, my
country gets benefitted with this course that I pursue; because I remain benefitted then I
shall be remodeling the benefits and advantages for the sake of country and many of other
people. Those all concepts and practices, learnt in training course, will be implemented in
my workplace and among my fellows. So the newness I germinate in my service delivery;
and the culture that I equally love to invite inspirations from others for learning in the same
domain undoubtedly refine our services, then benefit the students and researchers,
constituents campuss representatives and every other whoever come in connection and
contact of UGC for many of reasons. Thus benefiting the different human resources of
nation is connotatively benefitting the country.
Once the training is attended, I judge, it capacitates me conceive then develop strategies of
smart and effective communication, PR management and Journalism. And whatever
improvements and innovation I can unleash in my duty because of training obviously
benefits service seekers; it means a part of country.
Besides, I can conduct some short trainings and conferences to people, in self selecting
sampling and on demand basis, which grows likely to train a block of people in terms of
smarting their communicative strength.
I circulate the gist of training to all constituent campuses, hence they could improve their
journalism and communication skills strongly then could discharge better and clear service
to people; that too benefits many people of country, at a time, and indirectly.

How will my organization benefit from the course?

Candidly confessing, the primary objective of pursuing this course is to help myself in
improving the professional dynamism and efficiency in association of communication and
journalism. I am quite keen and I have banked the aim to apply for this course because of
thrust for learning the new methods and approaches of communication and journalism.
Since I have been working with capacity of communication officer of UGC, Nepal, it is
obvious to every one that my regular and prime duty is to maintain effective communication
channel, vitalize information in and outflow and its commanding and confirming correct
output. Coordinating authorities, and communicating employees and rest of service seekers
is major assignment to me, those are to be repeatedly succeeded. Knowing some updated
strategies in communication helps me a lot since I shall be able to add beauty and value in
day to day execution on those responsibilities.
I can deliver better service to people that accentuates my office; and public can make better
accreditation. I can share and remodel the similar session to other friends and fellows, so
they can proliferate the communicative expertise in quite well manner, and it finally helps
the total service of my office to be quite effective and productive.
Service based organization depends in its communications quality; branding and
strengthening communication is doing same to the whole service of organization. My
interest goes miles in depth to aim better communicative competencies of people of office,
so sharing of these among my friends allows us to have aggregately positive improvement
among service delivery art of all and that makes office feel easy and service seekers
honored and addressed. These all make my office worth considering; and the training
discharges benefits for office that remains worth cheering.

How will I put new skills and knowledge to work when I return to my employing organization?

Once I return after successful completion of the training course, I shall be carrying out
following strategies to implement the learning for benefit of my employing organization,
UGC Nepal.
a) Some new communicative strategies will be shared among employees of the
organization, so they all, with application of those new trends, better their service
delivery and support to rate UGC as one of effective organizations.
b) As communication officer, I can, with better communicative tools and strategies,
learnt from the training, apply those and that helps to cement the relation and bridge
building activities with donors, and co-workers, partner institutes and delegates of
services.
c) Publishing regular reports, editing and publishing the journals, and other bulletins
and booklets, advertisements and other various announcements as well as production
and promotion of Radio programmes are my duties; and the form and content
standardization of such regular publication on behalf of our organization will have
tremendous amount of positive vibration because of such international level training
courses; and I expect the training course facilitates me a lot for same.
d) Official circulations and internal memos or letters and requests those should be
drafted and finalized, as my duty, for various intra or extra structural communication
can be given a new strength and reformation. So the message will be imparted in
clear mode and correct reciprocations are likely to take place. I assume, the loss of
offices various resources because of unclear communication, sometimes sensed in
past, will be not repeated then that benefits the organization by having fast and fair
execution of activities.
