ONTRACT FOR THE PRINTING OF CMU BLAZER 2014

This contract for the printing CMU Blazer 2014 and IMAGEWORLD is
made on July 25, 2013

BETWEEN

: IMAGEWORLD Digital Printing Inc., a company organized and

existing under
the laws of the Republic of the Philippines with
head office at Door 5, L and R Building, Km 4, JP Laurel Avenue
Bajada, Davao City and shall herein be referred to
as
IMADEWORLD.

AND

: CMU BLAZER 2014, the official yearbook of Central Mindanao

University with its head office at the Office of Student Affairs,
Central Mindanao University, Musuan, Bukidnon and shall hereon
be referred to as Blazer.

WHEREAS,

the CMU Blazer is the official yearbook of CMU and is in need of

companies that can professionally handle the publication of the
Blazer.

WHEREAS,

IMAGEWORLD is a printing company with an established printing

track record in the yearbook publication business.

WHEREAS,

after fully complying with bidding requirements, BLAZER deemed it

beneficial and advantageous to avail of IMAGEWORLDs yearbook
printing services.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and mutual agreements set

forth herein and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt
and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, IMAGEWORLD and
BLAZER agree as follows:

1. Technical Specifications
Size : 9x10
Pages :
2300 pages inside [4 volumes] in full color printing and all inside
pages with
graphic manipulation and computer-aided designs.
Paper: using C2S 80 lbs. or mattcoated 80 lbs.
Cover :
hardbound and box with handle using C2S 140 lbs., with dry
embossed, spot
glossed and matted finished lamination.

4. Photos to be used for the yearbooks graduate page are the photos
coming from the official photographer of BLAZER 2014
5. Terms of Payment
Unless otherwise, the terms of payment shall be implemented using the
following payment scheme:
50 percent
upon submission of materials
25 percent
upon submission of corrected
blackprint
25 percent
upon
delivery
of
finished
products at CMU
The nature of payment (cash/check/bank transfer) may be decided by both parties
on mutually agreeable terms.
Price is subject to change if and when there are substantial increases in
fuel cost, peso devaluation that will cause increase in paper, printing and
labor cost. However, when 50% of the payment has been made, the prices
indicated herein are absolutely protected.
6. Delivery of Materials/Proofs and Final Product
Proof within 45 days from the submission of complete materials
Final Printed Product within 75 days from submission of corrected final proof.
When the date of delivery of the final product has been made, as much
as possible, adherence to such date must be observed. If the delivery cannot
be made on the date specified, a penalty of Php. 500.00 per day shall be
deducted from the final payment to be made to IMAGEWORLD.
7. Overdue Account
Interest at 3% per month shall be charged on all overdue accounts. In case of
lawsuits, an additional sum equal to 25% of the amount unpaid for attorneys
fees aside from the cost of collection expenses shall be charged to BLAZER
but in no case shall the fees be less than Php. 500.00.

8. Special Provision
The parties agree that all manuscripts, texts, captions, photographs, logos,
illustrations, artworks and other materials submitted are accepted by
IMAGEWORLD as final, fully, edited and free from further alterations and/or
changes or corrections.
However, when necessary alterations and/or changes or corrections have to
be made, as to deviate from the original materials submitted to
IMAGEWORLD, the printing press reserves the right to include additional
charges equivalent to the cost of materials and labor wasted. Further, the
delivery date shall be adjusted.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, each party to this contract shall indicate their
agreement by affixing their signatures herein indicating the effectivity of this
agreement.
