DESCRIPTIVE NARRATIVE
On Thursday July 2, 2015 at approx. 1257hrs I, Cpl. John Garcia P-112, responded to Dillards (1200 E County Line Rd., Ridgeland, MS 39157) to speak
with Loss Prevention Officer Steve Wilson who had two suspects in custody. When I arrived on scene I identified the suspects as Javaris Dmontez
Chambers
and Kristen Ingram
Wilson stated the suspects were in the Dillards Mens Polo section selecting merchandise. Wilson stated the suspects were seen via CCTV concealing
merchandise in a shopping bag and under their clothing. Wilson stated the suspects then attempted to leave the store and he approached them. Wilson
stated he escorted the suspects back to the Loss Prevention Office.
Wilson stated he recovered 1 Polo hat valued at $49.50 and 1 pair of Polo socks valued at $16.00 for a total value of $65.50 from Ingram. Wilson stated
he recovered 1 Polo T-Shirt valued at $45.00 and 1 Polo hat valued at $35.00 for a total value of $80.00 from Chambers. Wilson stated he then called
RPD. Wilsons statement was signed and placed in the case file.
I then transported both suspect to RPD to be processed. The merchandise was logged into evidence and released back to Wilson. Wilson completed
evidence release sheets for each suspects and they were placed in each case file. Wilson also signed misdemeanor shoplifting affidavits against both
suspects.
