Abstract
The document contained details of the project as well as the sponsors. The
document utilized charts and figures, contained the software and hardware
requirements for the project. Detailed description of the budget explain
Expenditure, Labor taskforce description, Responsibility Assignment Matrix
(RAM), Work Break Down Structure, Quality Management Plan, Milestone
Report, Risk Management Plan, GANTT Chart, Network Diagram, Minutes and
Weekly status reports.

Introduction
This paper has been prepared to critical analyze the project management
plan (PMP) on the Finance Web-Application Project which is being developed
for Sallys Stock Feed Stores organization. The paper discuss the need and
justification of the PMP for this project, areas that are discussed further in
this paper are the audiences of the PMP and why they need to sight the PMP,
the major stakeholder, the project owner (Sallys Stock Feed Stores
organization) is found to be the main audience for this projects as the project
owner needs to approve the PMP for the project to continue. The project
suggested that the application that is being developed is an intranet based
financial system that is to be potential to generate more with further
development. The project suggested or allocated a budget for this project
one hundred and eighty thousand dollars, and the deadline that was
suggested or allocated is about ten months. The document, project
management plan contained the details required; perfectly answering
important questions. The document contained details of the project as well
as the sponsors. The document utilized charts and figures, contained the
software and hardware requirements for the project. Detailed description of
the budget explain Expenditure, Labor taskforce description, Responsibility
Assignment Matrix (RAM), Work Break Down Structure, Quality Management
Plan, Milestone Report, Risk Management Plan, GANTT Chart, Network
Diagram, Minutes and Weekly status reports. This report will also express the
opinion of the author with regards to the different part of the project
management plan that has chosen. It will analyze the whole project plan by
breaking down the project into parts and then studying and evaluating each

and every part using the support and help of different references from
different books, journals and other related studies.

Organization
The author could have used a paragraph vise description of the organization
but he chose to utilize the means of flow diagram.

The report has explained the organizational and managerial description of

the project plan by the help of block diagram. The block diagram used are a
perfect way to describe the flow of power through the organization. Extended
to that in the Appendix A the author has also mentioned Responsibility
Assignment Matrix (RAM) of the organization.
MLKB team has utilized with help of appendices use of a table for
Responsibility Assignment Matrix,

The matrix describes a list of tasks to be performed with in the duration of

the project, this comprehensive list of all the tasks along with the person
responsible for the completion of the task, is a very good way to describe the
organizational work along with the hierarchy of the organization.

Management and technical approach

Work to perform
In order to explain the work to be performed, the author used 2 appendices,
taking a further look at the appendices; in the area of work scope the author
has used an application similar format which tends towards a more
professional look. The document us precise and content including all the
required details. Even in the application form the author has bulleted the
important points he was keen to mention in the work criteria. To prioritize
words even in the form of bullets the author has used word-colon formation
as an example, in the following sentence the words Data Security needed
to be emphasized.
Data Security: Users will have to authenticate using their own username and
password.
The writer has himself mentioned the Goals for success which is the exact
point of the document, written.
Project Success Criteria: The goal of this project is to develop the finance
application with the basic functionality specified at a minimum, within the
timeframe of 10 months
For describing the work break down structure in detail the author has used a
tabled format which is a most exquisite way to describe the WBDS. The
author has mentioned exactly the number of days it will take to complete the
task, the estimated time to begin the task and the estimated time the task
would be accomplished. This can be considered a perfect way to describe the
work to be done.

It can be concluded that the report/ Project Management Plan written by
MLKB Team for the Finance Web-Application Project which is being developed
for Sallys Stock Feed Stores organization. Perfectly helping us to identify and
understand the critical roles in the phases in IT projects, the planning tools
that have been used to complete the project. It seems that the content that
was include was content enough to sufficiently explain project, the overall
grammar and wording that has been used is convenient enough for nonnative speakers to understand yet effortlessly errorless. The way the charts
and figures and appendices that have been used in the project plan gives a
very fine details in the budget overview.

Recommendations
The project management plan written by MLKB Team seems to be content,
precise and suffice. There seems to be no content more to be added but the
only issue seems to be with the document is that the appendices in the
document have been too vigorously used and damage the integrity of the
document.
Another issue that can be seen is that a lot of data has been retyped again
and again and for example the author has described the Hardware/Software
requirements again and again, the list of the hardware/software required to
develop the application has also been repeated quite too often.
