Event Details
100 Plus Boulderactive 2010 is back this year from 12th to 14th March, held right in the midst of the
bustling city at Orchard Central.

Competition Format
Under16 (Boys/Girls)
- This year's Under16 will be competing under the novice category but ranked separately.
- As per previous years, there will only be 1 round.
- Competitors will qualify for the Novice finals if their results are Top 8 (may be extended to Top 10) in
the overall Novice ranking.
- Routes and rules will be the same as novice/JC category

Novice/JC (Women/Men)
- Qualifiers will be held in a flash format where participants will climb in details of 10 to 15 (tentative)
to complete 4-6 routes in 19 minutes.
- There would be no isolation. However, participants are to register and be present for briefing and
demo climb.

Intermediate/Open (Women/Men)
- Qualifiers will be conducted in rotation format.
- Scoring will be in a bonus/top system.

- Please submit the medical declaration and indemnity form below when you make payment or arrive
at the competition venue.
- If you are below 18 yrs of age, please acquire the signature of your parent or legal guardian on the
indemnity form.

Payment
- 100Plus Boulderactive 2010 will be at $15 for public members and $10 for NUS students (produce
matric card upon making payment). Early bird rates is only available for online registration from 18
Feb to 7 March.
- Online and event day registration made after 7 Mar will be $20 for all, subject to availability.

- Participants are to make payment at the event location itself and bring along a copy of the indemnity
form attached (Last 2 Pages)

Rules and Regulations

- Competitors must be attired in the official competition T-shirt/singlet during their climb.
- Competitors must report punctually for their respective categories. Latecomers will be disqualified.
- The organizers reserve the right to amend the rules and regulations without prior notice.
- Competitors will be briefed again on the rules of the competition on the actual day itself.
- Schedule of categories may be subjected to changes. Participants are to check their email for the
latest updates.

100Plus Boulderactive 2010 Eligibility Criteria

Under16 Category
- Should be under 16 years of age as of 12th March 2010.
- The finalists of any past climbing events cannot join this category.
- National climbers are not allowed to join this category.
Novice/JC Category
- The finalist of any past climbing events cannot join this category.
- National climbers are not allowed to join this category.
- All students from Junior Colleges may take part in the Novice category in order to score points for their
school, however those who were Novice finalists before will not be allowed to proceed on to the Novice
finals.
Intermediate Category
- Experienced/Seasoned climbers should join this category.
- Top 3 winners of the Intermediate category and Finalists of the Open category in any past climbing
events cannot join this category.
- National climbers are not allowed to join this category.
Open Category
- Professional Climbers should join this category.
- All national climbers can only join this category.
Team Category
- Team of 5 members
- 2 Climbers who are in Intermediate Category for Boulderactive 2010
- 3 Climbers who are in Novice Category for Boulderactive 2010
- At least 1 Female Climber who is an active member (i.e. not reserve)

* Note: The eligibility criteria are provided for each category. Participants in the wrong category will be disqualified
and moved to a higher category. International climbers would have to contact NUS Climbing Club for category
eligibility.
**NUS Climbing Club reserves the right to utilize pictures taken of participants for the purposes of publicity,
promotion and post-event reports
***The Organizing Committee, NUS Climbing Club, their sponsors, appointed staff and officials would under no
circumstances be held responsible for cancellation of the event due to unforeseen circumstances, OR accept liability
resulting from injury, whether fatal or otherwise of any participant or from damage to or loss of such person’s
property while participating in the event.

servants or agents responsible for any losses, costs, or damages (including consequential or
