Frenzy

Whether it is a monster under their skin, a psychological phenomenon, a release, or

even a incarnation of temptation the vampire frenzy is a self defense mechanism.
A frenzy in itself is an unrestraint of what the general kindred call the beast. Most
people see it as a crazed lunatic with fangs out and tearing at whatever is closest to
it. While this is an occurrence with some vampires the frenzy, like the clans
themselves, each have a distinct kind of frenzy.
The thought processes of why this is? Let us believe that the concept of the beast is
true. A demon or some force put into a human when they become a vampire. Its
primal, it is instinctual, and most of all it is an apex predator. But each clan is
separate, each clan has a weakness that is shared by their own selves including
their beasts. When a vampire Frenzys it is the beast coming out. However, as the
apex predator of human kind, who is to say that a kindred loses all sense of
intelligence whilst they are in this state? The Beast as said before is primal and
instinctual but when a Wight appears it has thoughts, motives, plans, and some are
even wilier then the kindred of which were lost.
These are alternative frenzys to the usual fight or flight. The beast is smart and
some drive clans to be things other than monsters some are born to rule, others
to torment, others to rage across the city.
Assamite: When the Assamite clan loses themselves to their beasts they become
the remorless and selfish assassin. While all of the clan are trained for stealthy
killings, the Assamite in Frenzy will spend days concocting a scheme to not only
murder a poor soul that has caused them to do so but will happen very quickly and
with much assurance.
When an Assamite frenzys it is unnoticeable to those around. Truly able to hide
themselves within the clan the beast knows stealth better then all. Whomever or
whatever has made a particular assamite frenzy is now marked. No job, nor
contract, nor current duty will deter this assamite. Whatever has caused this beast
to stir is now locked on target. The beast will not lash out against the target. They
will wait and plan for the opportune strike and will do what it can to make sure its
target dies and it gets away from its personal goal.
Brujah: The Brujahs clan weakness is to be les controlled. This could be the reason
as to why when most think of a frenzying vampire they think of this clans frenzy.
When the Brujah lost some control over their inner passion or fire their beasts
inherited that same lust of a rush. Therefore when a member of the Brujah clan
frenzys most see it as a tornado of rage. The beast takes over and does not think of
plans, it becomes a fiery wall of destruction, a canon to blast down walls, a wreking
ball, a fighter who has lost themselves to the bloodlust.
Followers of Set: The Setites believe their ancestor to be Set an Egyptian god of
destruction and great power. They employ this through their use of serpentis. When
a Setite frenzies their beast delves into their core believes, well the parts that work
for itself. The faith I the Setites weakness and the beast learns to exploits all

weaknesses. Whatever has made the vampire frenzy they need to exploit the
weakness of.
Giovanni: The clans frenzy are relatable to a small storm. Being in the clan of
necromancers. The Giovanni epitome the beast shapes itself to be when revealed is
that of power and control. Though not the way the venture do it the Giovanni has
spirits erupt around the rooms, books fly, people are knocked down and the
Giovanni displays the fright of the dead and their control of it.
