WEEK 1
God wants you to enjoy your life, and the only way you can do that is to discover and
experience the abundant life Jesus gives.
JOHN 10:10 says: The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came
that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it
overflows).
Jesus came to give us ________________________________________________________.
Life without Christ is frustrating, filled with anxiety, fear, concerns about the future
and other issues that make us unstable in our emotions and mindsets or
perspectives. We need a personal relationship with Jesusnot religionto have true
love, peace, joy, contentment and fulfillment in life. We need Jesus to have a life!
1 PETER 1:3 says: Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an
ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
This scripture tells us what we can have every day of our lives through Gods
boundless mercy. What is it?

We access Gods love and mercy for us through salvation, or being born again.
JOHN 3:16 says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
What did God give for us and why?

Who did He do this for?

You can choose to believe the truth that Jesus died for youHe paid the price for
the forgiveness of all of your sin.
You can choose to believe the truth that Jesus loves youunconditionally and
perfectly, with an everlasting love.
What do you really believe? Think about this for a minute and consider whether your
emotions or life experiences override what Gods Word says about His love for you
and His gift of new life.

ROMANS 10:9 says: If you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord
and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved.
How do you become born again?

Salvation is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Its life in Christa new way of
living. And we experience it when we receive Jesus and He makes us new.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 says: Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the
Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral
and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

What happens to you when you believe in Jesus as your Savior and confess your
sins to Him?

Do you need a new beginning? Do you want your sins to be forgivento have peace
with God, the assurance of eternal life, and joy and hope in your life here on Earth?

If you answered Yes! then pray, confessing Jesus is Lord, believing God raised
Him from the dead and that His sacrifice, the shedding of His perfect, sinless blood
cleanses you of all of your sin.
