Colorado Springs Sky Sox - Pacific Coast League (American Northern)

2014 Pitcher of the Year

Jimmy Nelson went 10-2 with a 1.46
ERA in 17 games (16 starts) at Triple-A
Nashville, including 114 strikeouts and
32 walks in 111.0 innings. He held
opponents to a .179 batting average. At
the time of his promotion to Milwaukee
on July 11, Nelson led the minor leagues
in ERA, ranked third in strikeouts, and
tied for the Pacific Coast League lead
in wins. Nelson, who entered 2014 as
the top prospect in the organization
according to Baseball America, was
named the PCLs starting pitcher for
the Triple-A All-Star Game (DNP promoted). In addition, he was named
PCL Pitcher of the Year.
2014 Player of the Year
Clint Coulter batted .287 with 22 HR
and 89 RBI in 126 games at Class-A
Wisconsin. His 22 HR tied Wisconsins
single-season mark and tied for the
Midwest League lead. Coulter led the
league in OBP (.410) and hit by pitches
(21), and ranked among the leaders in
RBI (2nd), slugging percentage (2nd,
.520), walks (3rd, 73), runs (T4th, 84),
total bases (5th, 223), extra-base hits
(5th, 53) and batting average (10th). He
was selected as the starting designated
hitter for the Western Division at the
Midwest League All-Star Game and
named as the DH on the leagues
postseason All-Star team.

Highlights

The Sky Sox kicked off their first season as a Brewers affiliate with a
win over the Nashville Sounds. Starter RH Taylor Jungmann tossed
4.0ip and allowed an earned run on 3 H with 4 BB and 3 K. 1B Matt
Clark helped provide the offense as he finished 2-for-4 with a double,
a run, 2 RBI, while socking his first homer of the year.

The Biloxi Shuckers kicked off their inaugural season with a 4-0
victory over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. RH Brooks Hall earned the
win, tossing 5.0 shutout innings allowing 3 H with 2 BB and 3 K. SS
Orlando Arcia helped provide the offense with a 2 RBI double in the
third inning.

2B Chris McFarland provided the only two hits for the Manatees, while
CF Johnny Davis scored the lone run.

The Rookie-level affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers will begin their season on Thursday, June 18 when they
host the Missoula Osprey at 8:05 p.m. CT. The team will be Managed by Tony Diggs who is joined by Coach
Jason Dubois and Pitching Coach Rolando Valles.
Arizona Brewers - Arizona League (Central Division)

The Arizona Brewers will begin their 2015 campaign later this year. They are managed by Nestor Corredor who
returns for his third season. He is joined by Pitching Coach Steve Cline and Coach Al LeBoeuf.

DSL Brewers - Dominican Summer League (Santo Domingo North Division)

The Dominican Summer League affiliate of the Brewers will begin their season later this year. They are
managed by Jose Pena, who returns for his third season at the helm. He is joined by Pitching Coach Geraldo
Obispo, Pitching Coach Jose Ramos, Coach Luis De Los Santos, Coach Victor Estevez and Coach Joan Abreu.
