What to do when you need more time for your growing family, and for
yourself? Like 3 Star Director Marissa Ornelas of Phoenix, Arizona,
create your own everyday and build each one however you see fit with

I started my Tupperware business 16 years ago,

shortly after giving birth to my first child. I had
taken maternity leave from my job, but when
it was time to go back to work, I couldnt do it.
I needed to work, but more than anything,
I needed to be with my baby. Maybe thats why,
when I look back, I cant separate my being
a mom from my business.
When I began holding my first parties as a
Consultant, I had to take my baby with me.
And then I continued to party with my second
and third daughters right by my side. Its such
a wonderful thing to rememberhow quiet they
were as soon as I started my demonstrations.
It seemed like they knew their mom needed
to be there, doing that for our family.
Thats one of the things Ill always be most
grateful forthe opportunity to develop
a successful career while being a full-time
mother. Which also means driving new cars
through the Whats Your Drive? Car Program
(I drive a Buick Enclave 2015), traveling all over

the world (Rome, Hawaii, Monte Carlo!) or

making really good money (like the $22,000
cash bonus I qualified for through the WOW
Program).
Its hard to believe that just four years before
I started with Tupperware, at eighteen years
old and a newlywed, I had come from Mexico
where people said in the U.S. you needed
a broom to sweep dollars from the streets.
The reality check was really hard. My husband
worked in construction, and I worked in
a kitchen and cleaning offices, so we didnt
spend a lot of time togetherand all of it for
$350, bi-weekly.
In the year 2005, I helped my husband set
up a maintenance business. At first, it barely
produced enough money to keep itself afloat.
Happily, my Tupperware business was enough
to take care of all the family expenses, so we
were able to wait until that business paid off
and today we can both say were two successful
entrepreneursthanks to Tupperware!
