INTRODUCTION
We like to think of our physical existence as a manifestation of our individual soul. Within the manifestation of our soul, there is a desire to learn, grow, create, and
experience life within a body. This body has an individual pattern--a soul vibration--that is unique unto itself. When our individual vibration is born into the physical world,
it contains within it a seed. This seed has a natural instinct along with characteristics. These qualities are what the individual pattern has brought with it. It also has
within it a purpose!
Numerology attempts to describe the relative existence of everything in nature, based on the premise that all is reducible to numbers, and that all numbers follow the
natural law of mathematical progression. In particular, ratios of numbers become pure entities and take on fundamental importance. A basic axiom is that all things in
nature evolve in cycles, mathematical progressions which are measurable and predictable. Numerology deals primarily with rational numbers, specifically integers. It
even goes so far as to limit itself, for the most part, to the 9 symbols, which make up 90% of the base 10 system. Yet, it contains within those 9 symbols a significant
amount of information.
Numerology is the study of the symbolism of numbers. It is used to determine a persons personality, strengths and talents, obstacles, inner needs, emotional
reactions and ways of dealing with others. Whether you use numerology to examine your life, take advantage of unexplored opportunities, confirm your talents or simply
figure out where to go next, numerology can be a penetrating tool that helps you understand yourself and loved ones better. Numerology presents the whole picture,
revealing all the diverse parts of your personality and how they come together to create the person you are. With this complete view, you are able to make the most of
your strengths.
The use of numbers for predictive purposes were used by Chaldeans, Phoenicians, Hindus, Chinese, Hebrews, and early Christians. Most of the symbologies
employed followed the progression of numbers, with Ones signifying a beginning or genesis, the higher numbers representing the progress through life, and Nines
signifying completion.
Shortly after 600 B.C.E., the Greek philosopher, Pythagoras, founded the first university and developed his theory of numbers. These theories are the basis of all natural
law today and are also the foundation for Numerology. Pythagoras determined that everything progressed in predictable cycles, and assumed a relationship with

respect to the alphabet.

Fundamental to dealing with Numerology is what is called reduction of numbers. This means essentially that one takes any number with two or more digits and
reduces it to a single digit. This is done by adding each of the integers in the number to arrive at a total whose integers are then added again, until a single digit is
obtained.
The updated Pythagorean conversion table uses numbers 1 through 9, each of which is related to certain letters of the alphabet and reduced as follows.

The magic of numerology meanings takes your name or date of birth and reduces them down to single digits. Each digit from 1 to 9 has it's own tendencies. The
resultant number is said to reveal your key personality.
Everything in the universe vibrates at its own particular frequency. By finding the vibration rate of any object, you can establish the qualities and energies associated with
it. By applying the principles of numerology -- and using only a name and birth date as the basic data -- you can determine the major frequencies of a person. A
numerological analysis of the calculated frequencies provides significant information on personality and character.
The use of Numerology to reveal personal characteristics is accomplished by taking ones full name at birth (the one recorded on a birth certificate). Titles such as Dr.,
Miss, Shah, etceteras, are not used, and neither are Juniors, the second, etceteras. [People with the same name will attract the same vibrations, but inasmuch as free
will is fundamental to the science (or art) of Numerology, different results and circumstances are always possible.] The date of birth is also used.
Typically, three numbers are obtained, one being the sum of the vowels, one the sum of the consonants, and one the sum of all the letters. The first is sometimes
referred to as the Motivation Number and represents what a person consciously wants out of life -- i.e. the basic motivating force behind everything they do. The
second is the Impression Number and represents the fantasy side of what one dreams to creating, without the necessity of the dream being tested against reality.
The third number is the Expression Number and represents the manner in which one best expresses themselves, their natural abilities and potential. There is even a
fourth number, based on ones birthdate, that represents the types of influences one must successfully encounter in order to ultimately achieve their maximum
fulfillment -- essentially their Destiny Number.

Understanding Numerology Meanings

Odd numbers are masculine. Even numbers are feminine. When we say masculine and feminine, we are not talking about a specific gender. It means the "traits" of
masculine and feminine energy within us all.
Masculine: active, creative, thrusting, and cold
Feminine: passive, receptive, yielding and warm
Masculine and feminine tendencies are visible in both sexes. In fact, many numerology numbers for women are very masculine, and visa versa. We all know men who
are gentle and nurturing. And, we also know women who are aggressive and cold.
Some of the characteristics of the numbers 1 through 9, as well as some of the Master Numbers(numbers that are not reduced) are shown below, and represent the
progressive lifecycle of men and women, the total spectrum of experience. Each number is given a few personality traits. In general:
The Number 1
The numerology meaning of this number is unity, beginnings, God, masculine, creative, symbol of physical and mental activity. Its a number that
expresses leadership, spotlight type individuality. Theres a tendency to being organized, and ambitious. One's go to the top in everything that peaks their
interest, reflecting a natural leader. They are forerunners and original thinkers. Leadership or a position of power is where theyre happiest. Often, they
are loners, and can be aggressive. The ambition to succeed can overshadow good judgment. The biggest lesson for one's is to dim that spotlight...sit
back sometimes to recognize and appreciate the light in others.
The Number 2
Dualist beliefs, Gnostic. This is a feminine numerology meanings number with traits like yielding, receptive, accepting, forgiving, passive, uncomplicated
and stable. But, two's make things or groups function more efficiently. Devotion to truth and simplicity is of major importance. Twos are the opposite
personality to "1's". They are followers, good subordinates and team members. Often too subservient, which others perceive as weak or shy because of
their natural gentleness. Because of their natural tendencies towards peace and diplomacy, they can appreciate both sides of an argument and are good
mediators. Their path in life is to nurture and make the ideas of others shine...make their systems work. Two's need for peaceful assertion makes their
lives work extremely smooth, while others suffer.
The Number 3
Masculine. The Holy Trinity, (father, son, and holy ghost). Three's are active, harmonious, pleasureloving, and they bring joy to others in numerology
meaning. Many politicians are threes with excellent conversational skills, but they can often be superficial. They give hope to others who see the dark
side of things. These shining lights work hard to stop negativity from entering into their lives. The good in something usurps the bad every time. They are
born mediators between 1 and 2 to draw them together. Extreme versatility and highly sociable attitudes make them well liked. In partnerships, they are
sexually interested and interesting both. Threes meet and live life head on.
The Number 4
Feminine. The number of matter in numerology meanings. Represents 4 seasons, 4 elements, 4 directions, 4 sides to a cube. Four's mirror magical
geometry and buildings. They are stable, rigid, sure-footed, determined to reach their goals in a straight line. When things come without effort, fours are
uneasy, thinking if its good it must take hard work. Often they are so focused on their goal they miss the small pleasures of life. These stable, security
loving people are often unmoving and dull. They are hardworking, good employees especially in planning, organization and administration. Fours
biggest challenge is to find the middle of the road, so they have balance in their lives.
The Number 5

Masculine. Number of the senses, four limbs and one head make five main projections from the torso. Stars. Also sexual, male (3), female (2). Fives are
likely to be restless, lively, adventuresome, quick-thinking, and quick-tempered. They love change and challenge, but take too many risks. It's common for
them to act first and think later, which causes stumbling along the path. But, fives are progressive, free thinking, exciting, fun loving and sexual in
numerology meanings. Simple everyday life is unattractive to these types. Five's handle unexpected changes and challenges well. Fives goal is to be
forever youthful and have a good sense of humor. These traits make them happy and pleasurable company. Freedom is important to them, so stability
conscious types would do better to look somewhere else.
The Number 6
Feminine. The combination of the upward male triangle and downward female triangle for the 6 pointed star. Sixes numerology meanings show they
possess the nurturing side of womanhood: safe, stable, warm, domestic, and motherly. Sixes are natural homemakers, giving love, warmth and security
to their families even if they are a man. They are supportive, harmonious, companionable, responsible, good problem solvers who know life requires
adjustments along the way. Sometimes smugness and a self-satisfying attitude can reveal an interfering know-it-all. Sixes major lesson in life is to
adapt and adjust to lives changes in themselves and others.
The Number 7
Masculine. This is the holiest and most magical of all the numerology meaning numbers, possessing strength and psychic ability. Creation and rest in 7
days, 7 pillars of wisdom, 7 chakras, 7 stars in the Big Dipper. Sevens are reflective and have a tendency towards mysticism or the occult. This is the
number of an introspective individualists who is often a loner. They're highly intellectual, and not materialistic, but somehow money finds them. Not
considered social butterflies, seven's are often perceived as cold and distant. It's immaterial, because they are unaffected by the opinions of others.
Sevens are disciplined and work well without supervision, which they prefer to team efforts. Often they will escape into daydreaming, needing little rest,
relaxation and sleep. Their challenge in life is to seek and understand the Truth. Seven's need to be gentle with themselves though, and learn that being
alone is not the same as loneliness.
The Number 8
Feminine. This is the number of material matters and practicality. But, eights must learn how money can be used for the greater good. This is their
numerology meanings challenge. They are a symbol of infinity, which leads to the next life...the eight-fold path away from materialism in Buddhism.
Eight's like to accumulate wealth. This number is worldly and hardworking, but often lacks patience and pliability. Eight's are tough, being persistent till
they accomplish a task. They make excellent business people, because they like order and making money. Often they lose what they make though. But,
they can be ruthless in pursuit of their goals. On the other hand, they are very family oriented, protecting their loved ones. Learning that love, passion and
marital commitment are just as much a part of success as material gain is another of their numerology meanings challenges.
The Number 9
Masculine. A product of 3 x 3 makes nine a powerful number. Nine represents achievement and completion. There are 9 months in pregnancy, 9
initiations during our advancing from a lower stage to a higher stage. In numerology meaning, nines are achievers, possessing bright ideas, high
ideals, and innate abilities. They take the big picture into consideration with their broad visions, global thinking, and universal problem solving
capabilities. Their goal is to culminate, complete and finish all endeavors. Nines are always looking for ways to improve on any situation or project.
Traveling to distance places and possibly even having a foreign spouse is all part of a nines makeup. These high energy people are creative often
artistic, but they can be self-centered when it comes to their achievements. Recognition is important, but they will never flaunt their achievements. Nine's
biggest challenge as indicated by numerology meanings...is to let go! When something has reached completion...its outlived its usefulness. Or, as in
the case of a relationship, it may simply be time to end it, which means you have to let it go.
The Number 11
Masculine/Feminine. This is the numerology meanings number of revelation and spiritual insight. Elevens are intuitive, practical, unconventional but
sensible. Eleven reduces to 1 + 1. This number has many 2-type attributes, as well as 1s because of the 1 and 1. These personality qualities make
them more balanced between the masculine and feminine. We should start to see more "11's" in people's numerology meanings numbers as the

feminine finds itself within us all.

The Number 22
Feminine. This numerology meanings number has particular importance in the Kabbalah. The Tree of Life is joined by 22 paths. There are 22 letters in
Hebrew alphabet, and 22 cards in the Major Arcana of Tarot their lives and environment is important to a twenty-two. This number reduces to 2 + 2. They
have the more positive aspects of the number four. Notice how the numerology meaning of this number stays very feminine.
In summary then we have:

Leadership, organisation, independence, individuality, pioneering, originality, integrity

Supportive, co-operative, collaborative, negotiating, detail conscious, duality, intuitive
Self expressive, conversationalist, creative, synergy, networking, joyfulness, sociable
Stable, immovable, disciplined, habitual, conscientious, conservative, pragmatic
Versatile, flexible, adaptable, freedom-loving, sensual, communicative, quick thinking
Supportive, harmonious, companionable, nurturing, aesthetic, responsible, overly involved
Reflective, introspective, private, loner, intellectual, analytical, investigative, mystical
Materialistic, worldly, ambitious, organised, orchestrating, managerial, productive, abundant
Universal, idealistic, visionary, creative, humanitarian, compassionate, 'change agent'

As a quick example, let us look at a birth date of July 17, 1959

Each month from January to December has an assoicatied number from 1 to 12, so July would be 7.
The day 17 becomes 1+7 = 8.
The year 1959 becomes 1+9+5+9 = 24
We find the numerology meaning number by adding all of the three numbers together so we have:
7 + 8 + 24 = 39 ===> 3+9 = 12 ===> 1 + 2 = 3
Now, we look at the number "3" to see it's numerology meaning and it's personality traits. You now have what is considered in this case, the person's tendencies.

Arrows of Pythagoras
These groups of numbers are significant not only if they're present but if they're missing. This chart will show your most important numbers and how they work together.
But, it will also show areas where you need some concentration, which would be revealed through your missing numbers. These are referred to as your Hidden
Passions and Karmic Lessons.

You take your full birthday numbers and slot each of your numbers in where the corresponding Pythagoras numbers are located. Theres a very good possibility you
won't have numbers for certain spots. Just leave a space or indicate with another symbol other than a zero, such as X.
You now draw arrows horizontally, vertically and diagonally where all three spots have a number as in the example. If you have just two numbers on one of these axis
then you'll have some of those qualities. If you possess even one of the three numbers, it indicates a propensity to the positive traits. When none of the numbers are
present...look at the numerology meanings of the missing numbers. They can tell you a lot about yourself as well. One or two numbers in the series puts you part of the
way into both positive and negative traits of that series.
Let us look at our previous example of July 17, 1959.
The assoicated numbers would be 7, (1, 7), (1, 9, 5, 9)
The result is shown below:

In the example, the preson shows a strong diagonal at 1>5>9, so these would be their dominant series of numbers. Notice how these are all masculine numbers in
numerology meanings. Look at all the empty spaces. Where "X's" appear indicates areas they lack the innate positive tendencies. Two numbers diagonally, vertically or
horizontally, would have more but not full tendencies for that grouping of numbers. The less numbers the less positive influence.
Let us now also look at the person's name, which we will take as Susan Jenkins.
She would have the following numbers in her name:
S U S A N J E N K I N S
1 3 1 1 5 1 5 5 2 9 5 1

The result is shown below:

Now when we look at Susan's chart including her name and her birthday, we see that including her name increased the numbers in her already heavier 1>5>9
combination for even greater numerology meanings. Her name confirmed her birthday numbers. But, she gained another sequence of 1>2>3. Her chart is still very
masculine. She has only one feminine number and a single unit at that.
Below are the numerology means for the different groupings.
1>4>7 Physical:
These numbers indicate strong physical dexterity, strength, and good health. All numbers absent indicates impracticality and awkwardness.
2>5>8 Sensitivity:
This is the number series of the emotionally balanced, artistic and highly sensitive individual. If all or part is missing you possess varying degrees of
emotional confusion and oversensitivity.
3>6>9 Intellect:
This line shows you as intelligent, intellectual, and creative and that you have good judgment. If missing it points to the opposite, poor reasoning and
dullness.
1>2>3 Thoughts:
This sequence loves order, good planning and has good organizational skills and administrative abilities. Watch out if missing, confusion and disarray.
4>5>6 Will:
You possess the determination to have whatever you desire, strong developed willpower. If missing your tendency is towards frustration disappointment
and to be unsure of your decisions.
7>8>9 Outlook:
Strength in these numbers indicates energy, enthusiasm, and that you are active. Missing these numbers shows lethargy, procrastination, laziness and
apathetic attitude.
1>5>9 Willpower:
You are dogged, patient, persistent and determined. If shy these numbers it indicates lack of motivation and purpose, resignation and indecisiveness.
3>5>7 Spirituality:

This series indicates you are compassionate, spiritually aware, serene. Missing: poor spiritual comprehension, agnostic, lack of emotional awareness.
Through many variations of numerology means you can pinpoint different personality tendencies. Youll start to see a pattern of tendencies that will amaze you. These
are some common combination's that will increase incite into yourself or another.

Single digit sum of your first name only

Single digit sum of your first and last name
Single digit sum of your full name and your birthday added together
Single digit sum of the vowels of your first name only
Single digit sum of the consonants of your first name only
Single digit sum of just the day you were born
Arrows of Pythagoras used with all the number values placed for both your full name and your birthday together. This will give you a well-rounded view of your
personality traits.

Look at the individual numerology means of each number to see strong propensities. If you have a lot of "1s", between your birthday and full name like Susan, then this
indicates unity and beginnings. It is also a masculine number and indicates God the creator. This number represents ambition, leadership and strong organizational
skills. A "1" is a natural leader. Now look how her subordinate numbers soften her heavy "1's", or enhance them in that series by checking the individual numbers from
earlier.
Different numerology meanings combined pinpoint your attributes and your short-comings. Maybe youre really heavy in one area and very light in another. Take note of
these situations and use your strengths to achieve your goals, and use the information on your light areas to work on creating some balance in your life. After all
happiness, peace and love are all that matters when the day is done.
What has been demonstrated is a quick numerological number calculation. No one is a single number, but a series of numbers that combine together.

Master Numbers
Master numbers are highly charged versions of their single digit representatives, they possess more potential than all others numbers, but they are also much more
difficult to handle and they need time, maturity and effort to integrate into one's personality.
Master numbers are very challenging and they are also highly paradoxical: They promise enormous potential, but at the same time they can create lots of inner tension,
coming from a deep desire to achieve something extraordinary.
There are two master numbers: 11 and 22; although, any number multiplied by the number 11 is considered by some as a Master Number. (e.g., 44, 55, etc.)
They are called Master numbers because they possess more potential than other numbers. They are highly charged, difficult to handle, and require time, maturity, and

great effort to integrate into one's personality.

Therein resides the catch: These numbers represent energy that is not of this every-day plane of existence. Its very spiritual and therefore, unpredictable and hard to
handle.
More often than not, those with many Master Numbers in key positions in the comprehensive charts experience deeper life challenges than other people.
They usually have more charisma and are more likely to gain recognition and honor relating to their area of focus due to regularly accessing unusual wavelengths and
naturally thinking outside of the box, yet so often they gain infamy, notoriety and suffer major set-backs.
The more Master Numbers a person has, the more likely they are to be seen as outsiders, outcasts, and even insane. They frequently isolate themselves from ordinary
people and they are miserable if they try to fit into society and live a normal life. They must have tolerance, strength of mind to follow their heart, and compassion for the
many who reject them due to their atypical viewpoints and other-worldly way of viewing reality. Also, an at least somewhat holistic way of living (especially diet) helps
them cope with their unusual sensitivity.
Master Numbers are more appropriately called Double Trouble Numbers, as they are rarely easy to live up to; there is usually more to accomplish, and more karma to
balance. But there is ultimately more reward, even though its often more spiritual (on a soul level) instead of mundane (personality level). Those with a higher than
average number of Master Numbers must strive for purity in thought, intent, and action, as anything less will take them down.
As with any number, there is a balanced, under-balanced, and over-balanced side to each Master Number. For example, excessive over-balanced 22 energy can
indicate someone operating from a base of dark energy, such as an uncompromising, violent, international criminal. An extreme example of a person with overbalanced Master Number energy is a murder. Neurosis is par for the course with out of control 22 energy.
Under-balanced 22 energy often represents insanity, an entirely impractical viewpoint, and total inefficiency. Balanced 22 energy is tremendously materially rewarding,
is far-reaching, and benefits the masses. There is also the reduced, earthbound form of each Master Number (4 in the case of 22: 2+2=4), which is most often lived
within when the person lacks the supportive energy to maintain the Master Number energy. Many switch back and forth between mundane and Master Number energy,
and some live on the higher level more often than others.
Just as those with much Master Number energy will offer unusual ideas and solutions (realistic and productive, or half-baked depending on the rest of the patterns in
thecomprehensive charts), its also common for them to see and accurately interpret the signs in everyday life that surround each one of us since they have a
natural, dual connection to the here and now and the indefinable dimensions. They are in two places (sometimes more than two) at once. This is what frequently makes
life so difficult for them. They are surprisingly f.ree of limitations in mind and spirit, yet the reality of this earth pins them down. Part of their struggle on Earth is because
they are very much from elsewhere and have a tough time becoming acclimated to fundamental Earth dimension energy. They are not used to being burdened with
the laws of this dimension, or perhaps the memory of the energy of the unseen planes is still too real for them.
Extremes are built into Master Numbers, for better or worse, often touching many individuals. They reflect non-earthly inspiration and ideas, either bringing great light, or
immeasurable darkness. Instability, unpredictability, idealism, restlessness, acute sensitivity, non-traditional behavior, volatility, intense creativity and charisma,
leadership ability, and nervous tension are hallmarks of those with an above average number of Master Numbers (in potent chart positions).
It takes more time to integrate the highly challenging energy of a master number into one's personality, and that's also the reason why Master numbers are often late
bloomers. Many individuals with Master Numbers in their chart, will undergo many challenges in life, however, success is assured if these energies are handled with
care.
Master number 11 is a highly charged version of 2 (11 = 1 + 1 = 2). All characteristics that apply for the number 2 also apply for the master number 11, but they are often

enhanced - the strengths as well as the weaknesses.

The 11 is the most intuitive of all numbers. It represents illumination; a channel to the subconscious; insight without rational thought; and sensitivity, nervous energy,
shyness, and impracticality. It is a dreamer. The 11 has all the aspects of the 2, enhanced and charged with charisma, leadership, and inspiration. It is a number with
inborn duality, which creates dynamism, inner conflict, and other catalyses with its mere presence. It is a number that, when not focused on some goal beyond itself,
can be turned inward to create fears and phobias. The 11 walks the edge between greatness and self-destruction. Its potential for growth, stability, and personal power
lies in its acceptance of intuitive understanding, and of spiritual truths. For the 11, such peace is not found so much in logic, but in faith. The 11 is also known as the
psychics number, it's highly intuitive and sensitive and it represents illumination and a channel to the higher self.
The 22 is the most powerful of all numbers. It is often called the Master Builder. The 22 can turn the most ambitious of dreams into reality. It is potentially the most
successful of all numbers. It has many of the inspirational insights of the 11, combined with the practicality and methodical nature of the 4. It is unlimited, yet
disciplined. It sees the archetype, and brings it down to earth in some material form. It has big ideas, great plans, idealism, leadership, and enormous self-confidence.
If not practical, the 22s waste their potential. Like the 11, the 22 can easily shrink from its own ambition, causing difficult interior pressures. Both the 11 and the 22
experience the pressure-cooker effect very strongly, particularly at an early age. It must work toward the realization of goals that are larger than personal ambition. The
22 serves the world in a practical way.
Master numbers present greater challenges to the person; the burdens of such lofty challenges may appear to be more than the person can bear, but the person
usually rises to face these obstacles and difficulties. By triumphing over the tests a master number presents, the person is able to face the karma that comes with the
number. This acceptance and mastering over the obstacles clears the souls karmic debts and creates a new path to the next level of enlightenment.
This is why numerologists wont reduce a master number in an analysis. To do so would be considered a sacrilige and deliberate disservice to the individual by
robbing them of the master numbers challenges.
Original Master Numbers
Ancient numerology recognizes only two sets of numerology master numbers.
11: Often called the Christ vibration, this number brings great challenges and rewards to the individual. The energy is so highly charged that many people are unable to
handle the amount of energy flowing through them. Its electric and truly wired to the divine. This vibration carries a very ambitious and challenging prospect to the
individuals spiritual growth. The opportunity for great enlightenment is afforded the person, but the price can often be very high. The person may achieve fame, but the
other side of that achievement could equate to all kinds losses. This number should motivate and propel the person to seek deeper spritual understanding of the world.
22: This master number will assure the person is involved in worldly affairs and wields a strong influence through career and circumstance magically coming together.
Its the challenges of this orchestration that will mold the soul into enlightenment.
Modern Master Numbers
Many contemporary numerologists arent traditionalists and believe numerology must evolve as humankind evolves. These modernists believe other twin digits merit
the title of master numbers. This is where the adding of new master numbers becomes complex and the lines separating the other three factions are drawn.
Some numerologists believe that only one more double digit belongs as a master number.
33: Teacher. This number represents a master teacher of the world who has transcended personal trials and tests to emerge victorious. This vibration calls upon the
individual to think of humanitys welfare above self and guide others to enlightenment.

The argument for its inclusion is because the number 33 is the sum of 11 + 22. Numerologists who agree with this addition conclude the three master numbers create
a Triangle of Enlightenment.
11: The vision of spirit
22: Acting on the vision
33: Divine enlightenment - Result of vision and action
Another group believes if one twin digit can be allowed to join the ranks of master numbers then certainly a few more should be included:
44: 2 times 22
55: 11 enhanced 5 times
66: A doubled 33 and a tripled 22
And yet another faction of numerologists believes all other twin digits must be included or none should be added.
77: 11 enhanced 7 times.
88: A quadrupled 22
99: A tripled 33
These practitioners believe by making these additional twin digits into master numbers it increases the vibration of a persons life path or destiny number and thereby
inspires the person to reach a higher level of soul growth.
Many however, believe this is carrying master numbers to the extreme and invalidates the true rarity and value of a master number.
This website only employs the Original Master Numbers 11 and 22, following the mandates of the science set down by our ancient ancestors.
When To Reduce Master Numbers
Master numbers (11 and 22) can be a curse and they can be a blessing when they appear in a Numerology chart -- but above all, they can be confusing! The rules for
when to reduce Master numbers to single digits and when to leave them as double-digit numbers are not as easily defined as we would like them to be.
When a double-digit number or a date does not have the power to unleash Master number potential, we reduce it to a single digit. For example, the month of November
is an 11 and, in theory, might be considered a Master number. However, a month simply does not have Master number power. If it did, we would be going through some
considerable turmoil every year come November. Similarly, days by themselves do not have Master number energy either. Consequently, we reduce the 11th and 22nd
days of any month to 2 and 4, respectively, during almost all calculations. An exception to that rule is when we calculate the Life Path and Birth Day numbers -- in part
because they are core numbers in a chart, but also because they are more static, as opposed to the dynamic, changing nature of cycles. Keep in mind that the date of
your birth is a dynamic number when viewed as just a date within the Universal cycle of calendar years, but it is a static number when seen as a single moment, a
window in time through which you stepped into this life; the momentous event that is your birth.
When adding the digits found in a date to calculate cycles, such as Personal Year, Month and Day cycles, we always reduce the Master numbers, both within the date
itself and in the process of adding them. Therefore, 9/11/2001 is first reduced to 9-2-3 (reduce 11 to 2, and 2001 to 3) as a date by itself does not have Master number
potential.
If, however, we want to analyze a particular date, pulling it out of the context of a cycle, we still work with units that have been reduced to single digits, but now we
recognize and acknowledge Master numbers during the process of calculation. Hence the fact that 9-2-3 (for September 11, 2001) has a First Pinnacle of 11 (from 9 +

2).
This is an apparent contradiction, but it does make some sense when you think about cycles as having progressive momentum, while a precise date is a specific point
on that linear progression -- dynamic versus static.
When adding digits to find a sum total in almost all calculations based on a name, we do not reduce Master numbers at any point. Even when we look for cycles that are
derived from the name, such as Transit and Essence cycles, we do not reduce Master numbers. To make it even more mystifying, in the case of Essence cycles, we
pay as much attention to the double-digit numbers as we do to their single-digit sums, even when those double-digit numbers are not Master numbers.
Finally, some letters, just like dates, have Master numbers. The K is the 11th number and the V is the 22nd number, two Master numbers that have been reduced to 2
and 4 respectively because Numerologists do not assign Master number powers to letters. They do, however, assign Master number power to additions that result in
11 or 22. Basically, the logic that decides on the fate of Master numbers when working with dates mirrors the logic used in the process of analyzing names.
When using the numerology calculators on this website, they take into account whether a Master Number is reduced or not.

Methods of Adding Numbers in Numerology

When performing calculations in numerology, the objective is to transform a name (e.g. John) or date, such as a date of birth, into a form of number recognised by
numerologists. Such types of numbers include a Life Number and master numbers, which can give an insight into an individual's life, personality and circumstances.
However, the method by which you calculate these numbers from a date of birth or name can greatly affect the interpretation numerology offers as a result. It is
important to know then, which method of adding and reduction is appropriate for the type of numerological interpretation you are aiming to perform.
Basic Adding Method
The simplest and quickest method of calculating a numerologically-usable number from, say, a date of birth, is to lay out each number in the date of birth side by side,
and then add. For example:
Date of Birth: February 1st, 2007
Step 1: Lay out numbers in a sequence:
February becomes a 2 (its order in the months), 1st remains a 1 and 2007 is split into each of its component numbers, i.e. 2 0 0 7

Result: 2 1 2 0 0 7
Step 2: Add each number (also known as fadic addition)
Add each number in your sequence: 2+1+2+0+0+7=12
Step 3: Reduce to one number
Each number in the resulting number (12) is added together. In the case of 12, 1+2=3. If the number for any reason is a triple digit number, the same applies, and if the
result is higher than 2-digits, continue to add the digits in the resulting number until you have just one digit. For example, 99999 is reduced to 9+9+9+9+9=45, then 45 is
reduced to 4+5=9
Then...
You'll inevitably end up with a single digit number which you can use to interpret the original information (in this case, a date of birth). This method, as we mentioned, is
simple, but at the same time, has its drawbacks: while you obtain an easy-to-interpret number, many astrologists place importance on the double-digit numbers that
can be derived and interpreted in more depth and with more relevance to the person who is the subject of a numerological interpretation.
Method Two: Reduce each component, then add together
This method of adding varies from the first in the we consider each component of the date of birth as seperate - reduce each seperately for three 1-digit numbers (one
for day reduced, one for month reduced and one for year reduced) and then add these numbers together to obtain what is often a double digit number. This number is
of special importance if it is one of the Master Numbers in Numerology - 11 or 22 - and the number can be used to gain extra insight into a person's numerological
situation. The two-digit master number is often expressed in the form:
Master Number / Master Number Reduced
e.g. 22/4
Master Number Example
You may not always come up with a two digit number using this method; it all depends on the digits in the date of birth. Moverover, the double-digit number may not be
one of the master numbers - 11 and 22. Numerologists like to take a chance and use this method, though, in case they do discover a person's master number. Let's
take the example of August 8th, 1986:
Date: 8/8/1986
Reduce each number seperately
The day and month remain 8 and 8. 1986 is reduced: 1+9+8+6=24. 24 is reduced - 2+4=6
Each number is reduced...
Leaving us with 3 single-digit numbers, 8 8 6
THEN reduce the 3 numbers together:
8+8+6=22

We've found a date with a master number! This master number can also be reduced and interpreted seperately as a single digit number. So, 2+2=4. Then, we can
express a person's master number as 22/4 and consider the relevance of both numbers to a person's life.
Let us now do the caluclation using the Basic Adding Method:
Date: 8/8/1986
August becomes an 8 (its order in the months), the day 1 remains a 1 and 1986 is split into each of its component numbers, i.e. 1 9 8 6
Result: 8 1 1 9 8 6
Added together: 8+1+1+9+8+6=33. 33 is reduce - 3+3=6
We see that if we apply the Basic Adding Method, we miss the Master Number 22 that we got when reducing each number separately.
Which adding method to use?
Both methods of adding give you a number that you can use as a basis for a numerological interpretation. However, it depends on the type of number calculation that
you are finding. For example, if finding a core number, you must reduce each number separately if you are not to miss a Master Number. Other numerology numbers
can use the Basic Adding method.
All numerology caclulators on this website use the correct adding method.

The Core Concept of Numerology

We like to think of our physical existence as a manifestation of our individual soul. Within the manifestation of our soul, there is a desire to learn, grow, create, and
experience life within a body. This body has an individual pattern--a soul vibration--that is unique unto itself. When our individual vibration is born into the physical world,
it contains within it a seed. This seed has a natural instinct along with characteristics. These qualities are what the individual pattern has brought with it. It also has
within it a purpose!
Let's take a look at this seed. It was planted at birth and there is a grand intention within. The expression of this life is a continuation of its 'spiraling' journey.
Experiences of expansion, connection, and awareness of its divine nature perpetuate the spiraling motion. It relies on its innate knowledge to assist it in growth, and its
greatest hearts desires, to fuel it as it moves towards its purpose. As its roots grow, it matures by knowing its place in co-creation.
In Numerology these are the five major vibrations that make up your core nature:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Life Path
Birth Day
Expression
Heart's Desire
Personality

Life Path
The Life Path is the sum of the birth date and describes what you are and your journey through life. Also referred to as your Destiny.
This vibration is at the heart of your being during this life. It tells you what you are really like. Its qualities want to be utilized and acknowledged. It is what is innate and
natural for you. It is the vibration in which your soul has chosen to ground its essence. Therefore opportunities, experiences, and lessons that you attract this life will ask
for you to draw on the energies present in your Life Path. By embracing these resources you will then be able to synthesize your other core parts. Note: Life Path is also
called the 'Birth Force' in some Numerology texts.
Birth Day
The birthday number modifies the lifepath number slightly.
Your specific day of birth may direct you to added understanding of what you are here to do. For example, in the Birth Date of July 11th, 1956, the Birth Day is 11. It often
combines with other energies to help them develop! Sometimes you will also find talents connected to this vibration since your Birth Day is a component of your Life
Path (derived from your entire Birth Date).
Expression
The Expression is derived from all the letters in your name. It is the sum of both your soul and dreams. This is how the world see's you, it is how you express yourself to
the outside world. A common mistake to make in Numerology is to call this your Destiny. This is incorrect, you are not the path you travel. Your Destiny is your Life Path
which is calculated from your date of birth. Also referred to as Name Number.
The name you were given at birth tells a wonderful story. Your name is what you must be this life. It is a 'Divine Promise' of opportunity. When embracing the qualities of
this vibration, you find that your soul adds to its experiences, knowledge, and growth. In the Expression number, you will find evidence of your purpose. As you
synthesize this core part, you will also discover a deeper connection to your other parts. Sometimes natural abilities are also found within a person's Expression
number.
It describes a persons potential talentsthe natural abilities as well as the related character traits. For most of us, these talents and skills are there at birth, although
they are usually further developed as an individual grows and matures. Very oftenbut not alwaysthese particular abilities are of primary importance in a persons
work and career. Frequently, the talents described by the Expression form the central feature of an individuals career.
What you must do in this lifetime; what you came here to manifest; the person you aim to be. It reveals your physical and mental constitution and represents a lifelong
target at which you are aiming. You work at fulfilling this potential every day of your life.
The Expression is derived by calculating the sum of the number values of all the letters in the namefor example, the letters in the full name appearing on the birth
certificate.
Your First Name:
It tells us the numerologists many things about you including:
- The physical and mental influence of your direction for growth
- How predictably you think, act and behave
- How you will interpret lifes experiences
Your Middle Name:

It is thought to govern your emotional life and reveals your likes, loves, emotions and attraction to certain hobbies. It is a resource you can draw upon.
Your Last Name:
Whether it is your birth name, adopted name or married name, your Last Name reveals the inherited traits of the family and carries certain strengths and weaknesses.
Your Maiden Name:
A womans maiden name is her family name. It is part of her original birth name; and therefore, part of her cosmic code and blueprint for life. Whether you use your
maiden name now or not, the energy present in that name will be with you all of your life. For it is your essence and belongs to your energy field.
Your Married Name:
In numerology, we look at the married name as an additional energy. The married name does not replace your original birth name. The essence of who you are is
determined by the name given to you at birth, which determines your five major Core Numbers.
Your Adopted Name:
If you were given an adopted name early on in life, it may be the only name you have known. If thats the case, work out your Numerology profile using your adopted
name. This name represents the energy youre presently experiencing and the strengths and weaknesses that will accompany you though life.
Heart's Desire
Its what you in your inner secret self desire to be. It shows your underlying motivation or the general intention behind many of your actions. Also referred to as Soul's
urge.
This vibration comes from the vowels in your name. The vowels are said to be very sacred and in some languages were so respected they were never written! The
Heart's Desire provides insight into your soul's deepest urges and values (what you find important, just, fair, etc.) This is not to be taken lightly for it is a very wise part of
you. It is the part that has the deepest feelings and sheds light on what you most desire. You will find your most essential motivations here. Your Heart's Desire is a
major part of your core since it beautifies and rounds out your character. This part of you also wishes to harmonize with your other core vibrations so that you may
express fully all that you are. The Heart's Desire is a key that will open doors for your other key parts to fully express.
It is the essence of your being and what lies behind your every decision and direction you take, what you want to become.
It describes a persons inner motivationwhat a person wants to be, to have and to doand the potential abilities and obstacles which accompany that motivation. The
Soul Urge is influential in determining a persons point of view and the principles on which he acts. Although the Life Path and Expression are generally easy to see in a
person, the inner motivation is often a very private matterunless revealed through the use of numerology.
Note:
The letter Y can represent either a vowel or a consonant.
e.g. In the name "Sydney"
The first letter Y is a vowel and the last letter Y is a consonant.
This can be of importance, especially for the letter Y, when determining your Heart's Desire(vowels) or your Personality(consonants) Numbers.
This website incorporates functions to determine if the letter Y in the name is used as a vowel or a consonant.
What About The Letter W?

If a syllable begins with W, and the next letter represents a vowel, W almost certainly represents a consonant. In "woe," for example, W represent a consonant.
There are no syllables beginning with W in which W represents a vowel.
For W, it never occurs in the middle of a syllable, at least in native English words. There is the borrowed Welsh word cwm, [pronounced coom] spelled C-W-M, which
refers to a kind of valley. In this word, yes, W represents a vowel. This word is so rare as to be best ignored.
When W occurs at or near the end of a syllable, its often part of yet another diphthong. Words like brown and cow, end with two vowels run together. First you have
"aa" [as in "cat"] or "ah," and then you have "oo." So in these words, you could argue that W does indeed represent a vowel. On the other hand, maybe to you the word
"cow" sounds like it ends with the consonant "wuh" instead of the vowel "oo." Just as with the diphthong "oy," phoneticians disagree. So my recommendation is just to
say that the combination O-W represents the diphthong ow, and stop there.
W also occurs at the end of words like saw and drew. These words dont end with diphthongs; they end in the vowels "aw" and "oo." By the same kind of reasoning
we've already been using, its best not to call W a vowel or a consonant, but just to say that the letter combination A-W represents the vowel "aw," and the combination EW represents "oo."
So to sum up, the only time you can truly say that W represents a vowel is in those rare Welsh borrowings, such as "cwm" and "cwr".
The word "cwm" is a special type of valley, and "cwr", is a type of train tracks made from single long rails rather than a bunch of short ones put together.
In this website, W is always considered a consonant.
Personality
Narrow entrance hall to the great room that is your true nature. Its the first impression that people get of you; its how you appear to others; it is not necessarily what you
really are. It shows what people expect from you because of the image you present. Also referred to as Your Inner Dreams or Outer Personality Number.
The information within the Personality gives us an understanding of how others may attempt to see and direct us. It provides us with insight on which aspects of our
personality others may recognize and validate. This information is derived from their first surface impressions. What we are describing is the influence the outer world
has on us. Yes, the Personality number has qualities that are very much a part of us. We may be content with what this vibration has to offer for a while. However, it is
the Heart's Desire vibration that assists us in manifesting our full natures. The Heart's Desire will lead us to a greater fulfillment found within our Expression vibration.
As you will recall, the Expression includes both the vowels (Heart's Desire) and the consonants (Personality) in your name.
What you secretly desire and dream, possibly something you may not even be aware of or acknowledge.

You are a blending of these vibrations. Sometimes one core part may stand out more than others. Often one part stays in the background as you recognize, express,
and experience the other parts. Eventual synchronization and blending of all parts into a balanced, fully functioning, and expressive self is the ultimate experience of this
lifetime.
Karmic Numbers
There is a theory in Numerology that a few numbers bring qualities along with them that suggest karmic, or unfinished, business. It may be that we choose to create
lessons in these areas to round out our natures. Another possibility is that we want to develop qualities that were somewhat void in the past. Either way, Karmic
Numbers can feel a bit more challenging than others. If you have a Karmic Number as one of your Core Elements, you may experience the number as over-balanced or
under-balanced before experiencing a fully balanced and accessible energy.

Look for these Karmic Numbers in your Core Elements. Reflect on the area of your life that the Core Element represents and note where you may find confusion from
the Karmic Number that is present there. For accuracy, remember that the numbers 11 and 22 are Master Numbers and stand on their own. Always add an 11 as an 11
rather than a 2 and a 22 as 22 rather than a 4. This makes a difference in determining if you have a Karmic Number or not.
Karmic Debt Numbers will show up as your Birthday Number or one of your five Core Numbers. No matter where they show up, its a signal that youre working with
issues from the past. The number itself will tell the nature of the issue you are facing.
There are four Karmic Debt Numbers: 13, 14, 16 and 19.
If we reduce the numbers:
13 ==> 1+3=4
14 ==> 1+4=5
16 ==> 1+6=7
19 ==> 1+9=10 ==> 1+0=1
We see that the basic single digit numbers are, 1, 4, 5 and 7.
The double digit number used to reduce to a single digit is a Karmic debt only if it is either 13, 14, 16 or 19.
For example, 23 ==> 2+3=5 is not a karmic debt.

Double Digits
In Numerology, your name and birth information tell you which numbers dominate your life. These numbers can tell you a lot about your own personality -- and your own
future. But there are two kinds of numbers: single-digit (or "cardinal") numbers, and double-digit numbers. To go deeper into your own numero-identity, it's important to
look at both.
So far, we have worked only with single-digit numbers in your chart, with the exception of the Master numbers and the Karmic Debt numbers. Now, let's look at the
numbers 10 and up.
The numbers 1 through 9 are often the result of adding together double-digit numbers to make a single-digit number (a process called "reducing"). For example, 26 can
more easily be understood as 8 (because 26 = 2 + 6 = 8). But an 8 that comes from 2 and 6 has more 2 and 6 characteristics, while an 8 that comes from 1 and 7 has
more 1 and 7 characteristics -- this means that although the number 8 can describe broad personality traits, there are different kinds of 8s. Because of this, many
Numerology experts will write out single-digit numbers by including which double-digit numbers they come from, like this: 26/8, 17/8, etc.
So let's focus on the double-digit numbers themselves -- they're overshadowed by the single digit that they add to. So you may hear that the number 7 represents
someone who is withdrawn, but someone who is a 7 because they have a 25 in their chart is less withdrawn than someone who is a 7 because they have a 16 in their
chart.

Every one of the cardinal numbers can be based on several different compound numbers. The 7, for instance, can be based on 16, 25, 34, 43, 52, 61, or 70. (It cannot
be based on 79 or 88 except indirectly, because 79 and 88 are 16.) When a 7 is based on 25, it is slightly different from a 7 based on 34 or 61. For this reason, you
sometimes see included the double-digit numbers in the chart. A 7 based on 25 in this manner: 25/7; and a 7 based on 34 like this: 34/7.
A double-digit number's characteristics are dominated by that of the single digit it represents. First and foremost, it is that cardinal number. The double-digit number
highlights certain aspects, and diminishes others, but it never eliminates any aspect completely. For example, a 7 based on 25 is not as withdrawn as a 7 based on a
16. A 7 based on 34 is more creative that the 7 based on a 25.
The already considerable leadership ability of a 1 is enhanced in the 10. As a rule, numbers that are divisable by 10 strengthen the characteristics of the single-digit
number across the board. A 10 is a high octave 1, a 40 is a high octave 4, and a 70 is a high octave 7.
Let us look at the Basic Meaning of the Numbers in Numerology:

Bridge Numbers
All numbers in your personal Numerology chart, no matter where they are found or what part of you they affect, have two functions: to help you recognize who you are and
what you are made of, and to let you know what you need to complete yourself and become the most you can be. It's not just a matter of strengths and weaknesses, but
a blueprint and a roadmap of your life and its potential, in all its nuances.
Obviously, knowing your strengths and your talents is a big help when it comes to finding your way in life: choosing the right career, the things that make you happy, and
so forth. Being aware of your weaknesses is an equally powerful asset, because they tell you what to avoid and how to not waste your time. If you recognize that you
don't have an ear for music, you probably won't bother devoting years to piano lessons.
The concept behind Bridge Numbers is simple: find the difference between two numbers and you find the bridge that crosses the divide between them.
Bridge numbers are arrived at by subtracting the smaller from the larger core number.
A person with a Name (Expression) number of 7 and a Life Path number of 1, has a Bridge number of 6.
If that person has a Personality number of 8, we find two more Bridge numbers, namely 1(between the Expression and the Personality), and 7 (between the Personality
and Life Path).
When we find the Bridge numbers, we criss-cross between all core numbers (all Master numbers among the core numbers are reduced to single digits).
Let us look at a person with a Life Path number of 1, a Birth day number of 6, an Expression number of 7, a Heart's Desire number of 4, and a Personality number of 8.
The following will be the Bridge Numbers:
1 : (Expression(7) minus Birth day(6) and Personality(8) minus Expression(7))
2 : (Birth day(6) minus Heart's Desire(4) and Personality(8) minus Birth day(6))
3 : (Heart's Desire((4) minus Life Path(1) and Expression(7) minus Heart's Desire(4))
4 : (Personality(8) minus Heart's Desire(4))
5 : (Birth Day(6) minus Life Path(1))
6 : (Expression(7) minus Life Path(1))
7 : (Personality(8) minus Life Path(1))
The more important Bridge Numbers are those that close the gaps between the Life Path and Expression, between the Heart's Desire and Personality, and between
the Heart's Desire and Expression. In the example, this would be 6, 4 and 3.
This is an area where we can find a Bridge number of 0.
The Bridge number 9 is never found becasue the largest difference between two single digits is 8 (9-1).
The bridge numbers show how you can make the core numbers in your chart relate more with each other. This number answers the 'whom' in you. The Bridge Number
helps you understand yourself and close the gap with the path you are taking in your life. It helps you change the factors that are stopping you from leading a happy and
prosperous life. It gives you an idea about what you really are and what you are trying to become.
Bridge number helps you in distinguishing the Knots. It is like the concrete bridges which we see in the city thoroughfare. As the bridge starts from one road crossing

and ends at the other, similarly the Bridge Numbers help you in overcoming obstacles and choosing the right path to move on in life. Thus, the bridge numbers in your
chart are the numbers which indicate how you can make a relationship between the individual core numbers in your chart easier and more compatible. Bridge
Numbers have the potential to narrow down the gap between the Life path and the Expression Number.
In order to make your talents and abilities (Expression Number) easily available to your main lesson and expected direction of growth (Life Path Number), you will want
to bridge the gap between these two aspects of your being. This is calculated for a person by subtracting the life path number from the expression number or vice versa.
Example Situation
A person has a Heart's Desire number of 7 and an Expression number of 4. Therefore, the Expression-Heart's Desire Bridge number is 3.
A 4 Expression is detail oriented, highly disciplined, practical and well organized, but also boring and routine-addicted. Since the Expression number is usually the first
(but by no means the only) number we look at for insight in determining a suitable career, the person in this example would be good as a bank officer, an accountant, a
construction supervisor, a police man, and a bunch of other professions requiring the attributes of a 4.
However, the aforementioned individual also has a 7 Heart's Desire, which tells us that he avoids crowds, preferring peace and quiet. He likes to read and study,
doesn't take anything at face value, has a sharp, probably sarcastic sense of humor, doesn't play well with others, and finds great satisfaction in exploring unfamiliar
territory, whether physical or intellectual.
Aware of this hodgepodge of traits from the 4 and the 7, it makes sense that this person would be happier as an accountant (just him and his desk and computer), than
a bank teller (interacting with strangers all day). That he would be a happier police man in an administrative or detecting position, instead of walking a beat (again -- too
many people around).
Unfortunately, those somewhat discordant qualities between the 4 and the 7 limit his options, and that's never a good thing. So let's see how the Bridge number can
help expand his potential.
A 3 Bridge number means that training/improving/strengthening the qualities inherent to the number 3 would be tremendously helpful in smoothing his path, and vastly
expand his potential. The advice therefore is simple: loosen up, be more creative, and start communicating.
This sounds easier said than done. Yet, looking at the simplicity of it when put in the context of Bridge numbers, it might just be enough to inspire this solitary,
somewhat boring person to do just that, to take him/herself less seriously. Maybe even make an impulsive decision every once in a while.
The secret is in your perception. Bridge numbers showing you the different attributes of two aspects of your character, and the specific qualities needed to cover the
divide, is a whole different picture. One that can actually be quite inspiring.
Also interesting about Bridge numbers is the fact that the basic concept applies pretty much anywhere two numbers share the same environment. Want to understand
how the demands of your Life Path number can be helped along with the help of your Birth Day number? Find their Bridge Number. Or perhaps you would like to know
how to get your Heart's Desire more in line with your Hidden Passion. Think Bridge Number.
They also have a spiritual use. You are seeking enlightenment? Cross the divide inside of you -- between your mind and your soul. The word "mind" adds up to 22,
which reduces to 4. The word "soul" adds to 13, which also reduces to 4. Interesting, no? Symbolically speaking, the Bridge between your mind and your soul is 0
(zero).
In summary, the Bridge numbers indicate how you can make the relationship between the individual core numbers in your chart easier and more compatible. They are
not considered shortcomings, but areas that, when improved upon, make you less inhibited and self-conscious.

Becoming more yourself is a matter of laying bridges between the different core numbers: those parts of your personality that are strongly represented in your chart.
In order to make your talents and abilites (Expression Number) easily available to your main lesson and expected direction of growth (Life Path Number), you want to
bridge the gap between these two aspects of your being.
You will be more comfortable with yourself when your outer personality (Personality Number) merges with your inner needs and desires (Heart's Desire Number).
Merging the core numbers results in becoming whole.
Bridge Number Meanings
Bridge Number 0
A 0 Bridge number indicates that you have at least two core numbers alike.
This is considered fortunate, and an opportunity to make real progress in the areas of life expressed by the repeated number.
For example, if you have a 7 Life Path and a 7 Expression, intellectual and spiritual growth are particularily strong in your chart.
However, if you have three or more indentical core numbers, the balance may be off. Three 7's for instance, will make a person withdrawn and solitary, someone who
has difficulty accepting his feelings or those of others.
The challenge here is to find balance. If you have three or more identical core numbers, study the meaning of this number and ask yourself if you are excessive in its
characteristics(this may cause you to push the aspects of the repeated number to excess) or-and this is quite common-if you have turned away from this number
completely.
The worst possible scenario is of a single number dominating the chart(for example, when 40% or more of the letters in a name represent the same number) so that
the person absorbs all the negative aspects of the number. You need to work at embracing the neglected characteristics, or in the extreme, even to consider a name
change.
Bridge Number 1
You should rely more on your own strengths and abilities. Be more decisive; don't beat around the bush and be straightforward when expressing your thoughts and
feelings. You need to take charge more often. Get off the beaten path and find original ways of doing things. Do not try to be conventional, or try so hard to behave
according to the expectations of others.
Bridge Number 2
Be more sensitive to the needs and expectations of others. Do not rock the boat too often, but keep the peace and try to make things run smoothly. You have to use your
ability to influence others with gentle diplomacy, instead of confrontations. Be more cooperative.
Bridge Number 3
Loosen up a bit. Have some fun; recharge your batteries. Be more generous to yourself. Communicate your deeper feelings without fear to those close to you. Be more
creative, particularly in the areas of dancing, writing, acting, or poetry. Develop faith in yourself.
Bridge Number 4
Avoid procrastination. Try to be more reliable and punctual. Be practical, methodical, and systematic in your endeavors. Keep track of details; avoid chaos. Work on the
basics of life. Physical and outdoor activities bring you closer to yourself, so get out in nature, work in the garden, or build a fence.

Bridge Number 5
Only the combinations 6 and 1, 7 and 2, 8 and 3, and 9 and 4 can cause this Bridge number to appear in your chart. The need to be more flexible and adaptable is
required in all cases. Be willing to go out on a limb; be adventurous and unconventional. However, the combinations indicate rather different requirements, and are
therefore listed separately.
6 minus 1
Try to find a balance between the extremes of self-sacrifice and of selfish behavior. Sometimes you take your duties and responsibilities too seriously; other times you
turn away from them. Co-dependence may be a problem for you. Be more independent.
7 minus 2
This combination is paradoxical: At the same time it is both disharmonious and potentially gifted. You are sensitive and in need of love and attention, while also very
private and inwardly focused. This creates a certain amount of inner conflict. You have a tendency for self-pity, and you tend to withdraw as soon as a relationship
shows the slightest bit of turmoil. You take criticism too personal. The high potential comes from the combination of analytical power (7) and intuition (2) represented
here.
8 minus 3
The combination of business-minded, goal-oriented, determined, and visionary eight, and the playful, creative, outgoing, and happy-go-lucky three is unstable.
Your strength lies in using your creative talents in a business-oriented manner. Your weakness is your tendency to suppress your creativity in favor of career and
business. This can make you overly cautious and slow to make decisions.
Bridge Number 6
This bridge can only be built through service, more involvement with family and community affairs, and a greater sense of responsibility. You should also allow your
creativity to flow more freely.
This bridge number results from the combinations 7 and 1, 8 and 2, or 9 and 3.
7 minus 1
The 7 and 1 mixture is generally harmonious, but the above mentioned advice is directed to this combination as well. This combination often creates eccentrics people who are highly inventive and unconventional.
8 minus 2
The 8 and 2 cause similar struggles, but are often recognizable in broken romantic relationships caused in part by over-sensitivity, criticism, a tendency to gossip, and
large fluctuations in financial matters. The positive side of this combination is your innate ability to negotiate. Your are both the leader and the diplomat.
9 minus 3
This is a very creative combination. You are an artist at heart, and you must live according to that. The difficulty here is in the suppression of talents, and the lack of
serious application. The bright side reveals a true gift to inspire and motivate large groups of people.
Bridge Number 7
Coming from either 8 and 1, or 9 and 2, this number urges you to spend more time and effort on spiritual matters.
8 minus 1
The 8 minus 1 combination causes a person to become too interested material matters. Excessive attachement to money, goods and staus quo can make you
vulnerable to tmepations of the material world.

9 minus 2
The 9 minus 2 combination is subtle. The tempation to think that you are spending so much time and effort on the well being of mankind that you are on your way to
sainthood is very strong, and potentially self-deluding.
Rigtheousness, no matter who you are and what you have accomplished, is always an obstacle; it brings prejudice, arrogance and indifference.
There are two challenges here that might be particularily problematic for you: the need to be more humble, and the responsibilities you have to yourself. Saving yourself
is a life time job.
Bridge Number 8
This number can only result from the combination 9 minus 1, and the important theme here is understanding the function of money. Money is a tool for trading, no more
and no less. This combination of numbers suggests an idealist. Sometimes the idealism is taken too far and becomes impractical. This is often expressed in a dislike
for money.
However, occasionally, the 1 dominates the 9 to such an extent that the person becomes obsessed with personal success. More often though, the 9 and the 1 together
reveal the very ambitious humanitarian who has the potential to do very well in the corporate world, or any career that offers international connections and activities.

Relationships By The Numbers

You can use numerology to help you swim in the waters of relationship. How you and someone else will act and react in a relationship can be determined if you know
how to read the numbers. Understanding the numbers helps reveal whether your relationship is likely to sink or float.
There are some really simple formulas to use when it comes to finding the best relationships by the numbers:
When it comes to close, heartfelt relationships, youll want to look to the Soul Number.
For understanding what you can count on with someone, youll look to the Life Path Number and the Birth Day Number.
To see if youll get along with someone, the Personality Number is the one to check.
For example:
If you want a spiritual relationship, look to the Soul Number and especially for numbers 7, 9 or 11/2.
If you want partner you can count on to bring food to the table and put a roof over your head, then look for a 4, 6 or 8 Life Path Number.
If youre looking to play, live in a creative environment and laugh your way through life, then look for a 3 Persona Number or a 3 Soul Number.

Cyclic Vibrations
Your five Core Numbers are only half of the picture in numerology. Timing of things in your life is the other half of the picture. Finding our way in life is one of our biggest
challenges. We want to do it right and we want it to be successful. So now we come to the phase of numerology that predicts when to do what.
In Numerology there are two types of Cyclic Vibrations:
1.Key Cyclic Vibrations
2.Personal Cyclic Vibrations

Key Cyclic Vibrations

Pinnacles
Each of us has 4 Pinnacle Numbers and each represent a distinct period in our lives that is governed by a singular theme. Pinnacles tell of the road ahead as well as
the name of the road youre on right now. It can be hard for any of us to understand a sudden unexpected change in our lives, which is part of the story of our lives.
Knowing your Pinnacle Number can explain many a mystery.
The Pinnacle Number is one of the forecasting numbers in your profile. From it, youll learn what to expect on the road ahead, then you can look ahead to whats coming
for your life and be prepared for it. Each Pinnacle demands that you live up to the qualities indicated by that particular number. Circumstances will present themselves
that will force you to live up to the elements of your Pinnacle Number.
Each Pinnacle is a time of development, each is accurately timed, and each is part of the blueprint of your life. Its all part of the Master Plan.
Challenges
Each of us has also 4 Challenge Numbers, which go right along with your Pinnacle Numbers and cover the same years. The job of becoming whole in this lifetime
means we have to face and conquer our weaknesses.
Facing your Challenge Number is an opportunity to understand the major lessons youve come here to learn, and by doing so, you will uncover the unique plan for your
life. The Challenge Numbers are not meant to be overcome, but rather indicate what you must become.
You can look back on the years past and see your mistakes, challenges and lost ground in a new light. There are no mistakes. It is all part of your life path and purpose
and it all leads you to higher ground if you choose to look and see.
The Life Path Periods
Do not confuse this term with the core Life Path number. Instead these are Life Path Periods which are experienced in three stages throughout life and represent a
broader range of influence than the other Key Cyclic Vibrations. Their presence brings a rather global influence and effects our individual natures in a less specific way.
Whatever Life Path Period a person is in, they can learn from what the energies present and have to offer. Their influence helps to develop the character of the number
within the person.
Personal Cyclic Vibrations

Personal Year
Your Personal Year Number is a number that tells you whats happening for you personally this year. Every year has a number and carries with it energy that vibrates to
that number. Your Personal Year Number can show you how to avoid difficulties, position yourself for whats coming and whats expected during this 12-month cycle.
The Personal Year starts on your birthday of every year and runs through the entire 12 months until your next birthday. Each Personal Year has a theme and an identity
of its own and certain demands.
Personal Years run in nine-year cycles and each Year represents where you are in a nine-year cycle of personal growth. Once you know your Personal Year Number,
events and situations make more sense, because you can put them in the context of the predicted pattern for the year.
The Personal Year is a vibration that you can immediately recognize and receive benefit from. Have you ever noticed how during some years you felt very restless and
eager to begin new undertakings? Or that in other years you felt quite content to stay at home, work on your environment, and focus on your family. Then again, some
years you might have felt like you were letting go of much with which you previously identified and that you felt anticipation about the future. What we are describing is the
influence that The Personal Year can have on you. We really do create our lives with a certain rhythm and there are optimal times to initiate new tasks.
The Personal Year's rhythm is based on the vibrations of 1 - 9. The Personal Year is the most illuminating when you are facing a decision or wanting to know the
probability of certain events. Just as we have an individual Personal Year vibration, there is also a Universal Year that describes the general planetary vibration during
the entire year. The Universal Year runs with our calendar year.
Within our Personal Year we also have Personal Months and Personal Days. A Personal Month or Personal Day is similar in vibration, however its meaning is tailored
to the actions of the particular number represented for the month or day. In other words, you would apply the same qualities to a monthly or daily experience.
The Essences
The vibrations found in the Essences contain directions to help you receive fulfillment in your current Personal Year. You can tap into abilities that may have gone
unrecognized throughout the course of the year, by paying attention to the current Essence operating in your chart. We find the Essences are very informative. When you
know what your Essence is, you are more apt to use the energies available with clarity and ease.
The Essences are derived from specific letters in your first, middle, and last name. (The system will work regardless if a person has one, two, or more than three
names within their complete name.)
Each letter in the alphabet has a numerical vibration. Each letter also represents a definite period of time. Unlike the other Cyclic Vibrations, the Essences and Transits
are found in the letters of your name rather than your Birth Date. The numerical vibration assigned to a letter represents how many years the letter's nature will operate
as an Essence.
The Transits
The Transits are the letters that make up a name or word. Each letter represents an influence and lasts for an equivalent number of years relative to their numerical
placement in the alphabet (reduced to a single digit). Each of the Transits convey a message.
When interpreting the Transits and Essences, remember to examine their energy in conjunction with the Personal Year.

Whenever we have a repeated energy, or the same letter appearing as an active Transit more than once, it can attract over or under balanced energy. In addition, when
the same numerical vibration is active as a Transit more than once, out of balance energies may occur. The excessive energy can always be directed by practicing
awareness.

Planes of Expression

Each of us experiences life on four different levels: with our physical body; our mental faculty; our emotional make-up; and our intuition. Each of these areas has a
specific means of perceiving information. The physical body is capable of touch, taste, pleasure, and pain. It provides us with a sense of the physical world. The mental
body, like the emotional and intuitive natures, perceives the invisible worlds. Our minds deal with the world of thought.
The heart, of course, is preoccupied exclusively with the world of emotion. Our feelings teach us many things about ourselves and about others. Finally, we have the
capacity for direct contact with the higher realms by way of intuition. Intuitive insight comes in a flash. It is not rational -- that is the world of the Mental Plane -- but comes
as if it were placed at the doorstep our minds. Intuition, therefore, bypasses all efforts save that of perception.
These four faculties exist in all of us. But each of us depends more on one or two of them for the bulk of our knowledge. Some of us are possessed by our senses,
while others live almost exclusively in their hearts, or in their minds. Numerology indicates how we as individuals function on each plane.
The letters of the alphabet are divided into four categories: Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Intuitive.
The proportion of each category in your name gives a good indication of which Planes of Expression are strongest in you, and which ones are weaker.
The sum (reduced to a single digit or Master number) of the numbers found on each plane reveals how you deal with your experiences on that plane. These Planes of
Expression can greatly help you to understand your talents and abilities.
In addition, the letters of the alphabet are also considered to be either creative, vacillating (wavering), or grounded (practical).
NOTE: Some numerologists base their calculations of the Planes of Expression on the number values of the letters. This is incorrect. Letters have their own archetypal
personalities and, when calculating the Planes of Expression, should be considered on their own merit. For example, the E, the N, and the W all have the value of 5.
However, the letters E and W are both considered physical letters. While the N is seen as a mental letter.
