Necessary Documents

Brazilian

Single: Birth certificate (issued with a maximum of 06 months) +


identification Document (original) + number of CPF;

Divorced: Marriage certificate with divorce registration (issued with a


maximum of 06 months) + identification Document (original) + social
security number + copy of the letter of Sentence of Division of property;

A Widower: Marriage certificate (issued with a maximum of 06


months) + death certificate of Spouse + identity document (original) +
number of CPF + Certificate of real estate registry offices in the city
where he/she resided when he died (if the deceased (a) didn't let goods) +
negative certificate of the Dmv and tax clearance certificate from the
Board of trade. If the deceased has left (a) goods, copy of the inventory.

Declaration of marital status and Residence Declaration + social security
number + Passport.

Divorced: Marriage certificate with divorce registration (issued with a

A Widower: Marriage certificate (issued with a maximum of 06


months) + death certificate of Spouse + Declaration of marital status and
Residence Declaration + social security number + Passport.

Foreigner

Note: all documents from overseas must be brought to the Consulate of Brazil in
the country where it was issued the Declaration of marital status and residence to
be legalized.
