your university.
Internship: Future Human Machine Interaction Concepts
International Internship Reference Number: LTZ301
This internship is offered in support of the team that develops concepts and research methodologies for user involvement in future
automobiles. We investigate user needs and limitations in reference to new technologies and interaction paradigms. We also develop
concepts to support the complete driving and travelling experience.
An important aspect in developing the automobile of the future involves monitoring driver awareness and behavior. This internship
will focus on developing concepts driven by the drivers situational needs. Working with-in either the "User Involvement in Automated
Driving", "Cockpit 20+" or "Intelligent System" project, the intern will have the opportunity to investigate realistic and innovative
solutions to support driver and passengers wellbeing, control and or confidence .
You should have:
Coursework in either Cognitive Science or Human Computer Interaction.
Knowledge of user centered design and or usablity engineering.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
A team-minded approach and an mind open to cultural exchange.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Skills programming in Adobe Flash, Android and/or Java.
Knowledge of SPSS/R.
Employment Type
Full-time internship in Munich, Germany.
Ideally 6 months, beginning when possible.
All applicants must be enrolled as a student for the duration of the internship period.
Company Benefits
Internship-level payment determined by the duration of placement and intern's course-of-study.
BMW Group will also provide support in travel and housing accommodation.
