SYNOPSIS

SEMESTER 3

This programme introduces students to the concept

and principles of networking, design, implementation and maintenance of computer network. It
covers Computer Hardware Technology, Digital
System, Fundamentals of Network Management
and Network Security. Students are also introduced
to the open source software in the following
courses: Open Source Operating System, Java
Programming, Web Programming, and Database
System.
CAREER PROSPECTS
The knowledge and skills acquired enable graduates to venture into the job market as System
Analyst, Network Engineer, Maintenance Personnel,
Network Support Personnel and Network Administrators in cyber security for e-commerce and education.

opportunity to learn basic ICT skills and programming that emphasises the development of creative
entertainment and game software. This programme
