the modus operandi to be employed in getting the desired results. Chinedu is a
senior consultant at a multinational audit firm. Before him lies a series of
paperwork with torrents of financial data from LINKTEL NIGERIA LIMITED but he
wasnt besieged by the thought of their colossal size. He is on the verge of
concealing one of his clients engineered falsehood to put it lightly. On a normal
occasion, he wouldnt give it a second thought before his religious views came to
remind him of his piety and ways of perfectionism. But this was different; He has
been since depressed since he heard of his wifes terminal illness. The doctors
gloomy face accompanying the report couldnt have made it any worse. His wife
was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disease which required specialized surgery
off the shores of Nigeria that would cost him a sum of 30 million naira at least. He
didnt have any means of raising such an amount of money but his signature on an
innocent piece of paper lying before him could comfortably secure monies sufficient
enough for the hurdle before him. Would he be willing to sacrifice his dignity for
LINKTEL? He had received offers of mouthwatering cash rewards from the CEO if he
could append his signature and conceal the truth just so the company does not face
litigation. So he picked up his pen and

She was a teenage girl, blossoming in the innocence of youth; the sight of her could
make you fall in love. She was dazzling in her countenance and appeared as though
lifes fangs could never reach her. She had a childhood you only saw in happily-everafter movies carefully scripted by esteemed producers. At least so it seemed until
her fathers demise. It was the most traumatic experience and sent a dashing blow
to her potential dreams. Her name is Amaka. At first she, her siblings and her
mother thought they could access their fathers remaining wealth for he left such a
huge portfolio of assets and liquid cash. This was until family members came
sweeping for their brothers wealth which according to them, they were legally
entitled to. Amakas misfortune only grew worse. Basic amenities became farfetched as the family became desperate for survival. With these came the challenge
of livelihood. Being the eldest daughter, she knew the onus was on her to do
somethinganything! But she vowed never to sell her body, It was during these
tumultuous times she met a nurse friend of hers who introduced her to some
natural way of making money. She had no other option than to start selling her

Mr Ameobi was a man of unrivalled charisma in Ugwu village; he wielded so much


clout one could only fall under his influence whenever he spoke. He maintained a
wide portfolio of varying businesses and assets. Over the years, his fortune had
grown so much so he felt the necessity of having a personal aide who would
oversee his merchant and trade. In the present day Nigeria, It was difficult to find
someone of high self-restraint, discipline and will but his brother Chukwuemeka
came to mind, after all, he had an MBA, he was educated unlike himself and he had
an empathetic and warm nature. He was the perfect choice.
Chukwuemeka proved to be worthy of choice as he diligently nurtured his brothers
assets. He channeled returns on investment as at when due, he made legal
representations and filed reports. In short he was the running CEO. He could not
have made Mr Ameobi, his elder brother more satisfied. This was until
Chukwuemeka married Ngozi, a jezebel like woman who convinced him to swindle
his brothers wealth adding that he deserved more than the peanuts his elder
brother rewarded him with. Several weeks passed and Chukwuemeka was
embroiled in the dilemma of pleasing his wife and betraying his elder brother.

Chinedu was a young ambitious man in his early twenties and had just graduated
from university within a couple of years, having toiled the streets of Lagos endlessly
for a job, fate smiled on him and he got a job with an international audit firm,
particularly, he was fortunate to have been recruited in the arm that specializes in
the audit of multinational telecommunication company. As a devout Christian, he
brought his sundry virtues to his daily work and became an employee of respect
and envy, thus making many admirers and enemies alike. In his third year of work,
he married a young lady named Amaka and their marriage was a successful one
with a beautiful daughter.
