THE SIN GOD DOES NOT FORGIVE.

Matt.12:31,32. “Therefore I say to you, every sin and

blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy
against the Spirit will NOT be forgiven men. 32.
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of man, it
will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the
Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this
age (world – KJV), or in the age to come.”

How do we reject the Holy Spirit?

John 16:8. “And when He (the Spirit) has come, He
will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness,
and of judgment.”

Anything in our life that we hang on to (keep doing)

that we should put aside, this becomes “The
Unpardonable Sin”. By doing this we are rejecting
the Holy Spirit of God. We must determine what in
our life is wrong, and put it far from us.

Acts 5:31. Jesus, ‘God has exalted to His right hand

to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel
and forgiveness of sins.’

Both ‘repentance’ and ‘forgiveness’ are gifts from

God, given to us when we ask for them. “Ask and it
shall be given you.” Matt.7:7.

Eph.4:30. “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,

by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

Eccl.8:11. “Because the sentence against the evil

work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of
the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.”

Many think they will get away with what they have
done. They say in their hearts, ‘no one will find out’.
Murderers, thieves, terrorists; those who abuse their
own bodies- alcoholics, drug addicts etc. Because
they are not sentenced speedily, their hearts are
hardened – set to do even greater evils.

Mark 9:43-47. “And if your hand makes you sin cut it

off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed
(crippled), than having two hands, to go into hell fire
that shall never be quenched. ---45. And if your foot
makes you sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter
life lame, than having two feet, to be cast into hell
fire that shall never be quenched. --- 47. And if your
eye makes you sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to
enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than having
two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.”

God is not saying that we should literally cut off our

hand or our foot, or pluck out an eye. If there is
anything in our life that causes us to be disobedient
to God – it is far better to be separated from it than
to lose eternal life. By the hand is represented, what
we do. By the foot is represented where we go.’
The eye, what we see. Eg. If by keeping the Sabbath
day we lose our job, we should obey God first by
keeping holy His Sabbath. God Himself will take care
of the rest. We may end up getting a better job.
What a blessing then to obey our Creator. Again, if
with our eye we lust after one of the opposite sex, we
sin against God, and our spouse.

Hos.4:17. “Ephraim is joined “to idols, let him alone.”

Idol worship is forbidden in scripture. (Ex.20:4.) Not

just literal idols, but any thing that comes between us
and God, and is part of us more than God, is an idol
in our life.

Isa.63:8-10. “For He (God) said, ‘Surely they are my

people, children who will not lie. So He became their
Savior. 9. In all their affliction He was afflicted, and
the Angel of His presence saved them; In His love and
in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and
carried them all the days of old.
10. But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So
He turned Himself against them as an enemy, and He
fought against them.”

Isa.30:8-11. “Now go, write it before them on a

tablet, and note it on a scroll, that it may be for time
to come, forever and ever; 9. That this is a rebellious
people, lying children, children who do not hear the
law of the Lord; 10. Who say to the seers, ‘do not
see’, And to the prophets, ‘do not prophecy to us
right things; speak to us smooth things, prophecy
deceits. 11. Get out of the way, turn aside from the
path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from
before us.”

In Isaiah 63:8. God calls them ‘My people’. They

knew what was truth, but neglected to obey. Instead,
they wanted to go their own way, and do their own
thing. They were dishonest people. So God gave
them up to their own ways. An example for today –
Christ is soon to come back in the clouds of heaven.
‘’Though He tarry, wait for Him.’ This is a test of our
faith. But all too often, we get tired of waiting and
slip back into our old ways.

Ps.19:12b-14. “David prayed, ‘Cleanse me from

secret faults. 13. Keep back your servant also from
presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over
me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent
of great transgression. 14. Let the words of my
mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable
in your sight, O Lord, my strength (rock – margin) and
my redeemer.”

Num.15:30. “But the person who does anything

presumptuously defiantly – margin) ----- he shall be
cut off from among his people.”

Great Transgression – is the ‘unpardonable sin’.

Matt.7:21-23. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord,

Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who
does the will of my Father in heaven. 22. Many will
say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord,’ have we not
prophesied in your name, and done many wonders in
your name? 23. And then I will declare to them, ‘I
never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice
lawlessness!”

Not professors of the law, but DOERS of the law will

be saved.

Mark 10:17b-22. “A rich young ruler came to Jesus

and asked Him, ‘What shall I do that I may have
eternal life?’ --- Jesus said unto him, --- One thing you
lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to
the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and
come, take up the cross, and follow Me. 22. But he
was sad at this world, and went away grieved, for he
had great possessions.”

The rich young ruler had kept the commandments of

God from his youth. He now had great riches;
“Where your treasure is, there shall your heart be
also”. To give up now, all his possessions, was too
much for him, How many more today are like this
rich young ruler?

James 2:10,11. “For whoever shall keep the whole

law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
11. For he who said, ‘do not commit adultery’, also
said, ‘do not commit murder’. Now if y o do not
commit adultery, but you do murder, you have
become a transgressor of the law.?

We are to step out in faith. When we do this, God will

open the way. We need to read the story of Israel
when they were about to cross the red sea. They
came right up to the waters edge, but how could they
go across? Not until they took the first step into the
water, by faith, did God open up the pathway through
the Red Sea for them to go across. (read Exodus 14).
He will do the same for all who will follow Jesus.

TRUST AND O B E Y.
When we walk with the Lord, in the light of
His word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us
still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

There is no other way!
