G.O.Ms.No.23,Backwardclasseswelfare(C2),dated7thJuly2007shouldbe
obtainedfromMandalRevenueOfficer/Tahsildaronorafter7thJuly2007.
AdmissionunderBCEcategoryissubjecttoconditionoffurtherorders
issuedeitherbytheGovernmentofTelangana/AndhraPradeshorHonble
HighCourtofJudicatureatHyderabadfortheStatesofTelanganaand
AndhraPradeshorHonbleSupremeCourtofIndia.
c. Thereshallbe3%reservationfordifferentlyabled(physicallyhandicapped
PH)withlocomotordisabilityof5070%confinedtolowerlimbs.The
candidatesshallbeselectedonHorizontalbasis.Incaseoftemporarily
disabledpersons,thePHCertificateshouldbeissuedwithin3monthsprior
topresentingherapplicationforseekingadmissionbyclaimingthebenefitof
reservation.TheMedicalBoardconstitutedbytheNIMSwillexaminethese
candidatesandscrutinizetheirclaimsforreservationunderPHfor
confirmationofeligibility
d. Therosterpointsystemforstatutoryreservationsshallbefollowedbytaking
thetotalnumberofseatsinallspecialties.

ACandidatemustsubmithardcopyoftheapplicationform.

Theapplicationformmaybedownloadedandfilledappropriately.Please

AdemanddraftforRs.1,100/(Rupeesonethousandandonehundredonly)
drawninfavouroftheDirector,NizamsInstituteofMedicalSciencesand

sameamountwillhavetobesubmittedsimultaneouslyalongwiththefilled
inapplication.Thecandidatemustwritehernameandthecourseapplied
foronthebacksideoftheBankDraft/NIMScashreceipt.Applicationfeeis
nonrefundableeveniftheapplicationisrejected.

Thefilledinapplicationsreceivedaftertheprescribeddateandtimeshallnot
beconsidered.Theinstitutewillnotberesponsiblefornonreceiptof
applicationsordelayinpostaltransit.

Anacknowledgementalongwithregistrationnumberwillbesenttothe
candidateemailaftertheapplicationisprocessed.
8.
Theinservice(NIMS)candidatesshouldhaveaminimumoffiveyears
regularservice.Applicationsshouldbeforwardedbytheappointing

ThecandidateswhoareinserviceseekingadmissionintoM.Sc.(Nursing)

VIII. EntranceTest
1.
Thereshallbeacommonentrancetestconsistingof60multiplechoice
questions(MCQs)coveringtheBachelorofScience(Nursing)coursetobe
answeredin60minutes.
2.
ThesyllabusforEntranceTestshallbethatofB.Sc.(N)standardofthe
UniversitiesofTelanganaandAndhraPradeshStates.
3.
Theentrancetestshallbeconductedatthevenueanddateandtime
specifiedbytheinstitute.
4.
Hallticketswillbesenttothecandidatesthroughemailorwillbeissuedin
person.
5.
Candidatesappearingforentrancetest/counsellingwillnotbepaidany
travelingallowance.
6.
Candidatesindulginginmalpracticeduringtheentranceexaminationwillbe
disqualifiedandtheirhallticketsshallbeconfiscated.Themarksofsuch
candidateswillnotbedisplayed.
7.
Thequalifyingmarkstobeeligibleforadmissionis50%.InthecaseofSC,
STcandidatestheminimumqualifyingmarksattheentrancetestshallbe
40%.
8.
Allrequestsforreevaluationhavetobemadewithinthestipulatedtime
alongwiththecopyofthehallticketandpaymentofRs.1,500/
(Rupeesonethousandandfivehundredonly)bypayingcashintheNIMS
cashcounterinperson.RequestforreevaluationoftheOMRanswersheet
oftheentranceexaminationshallnotbeentertainedbeyondthetimeand

MethodofSelection
1.

Selectionwillbebasedontheperformanceofthecandidatesattheentrance

Incaseofequalityofmarksintheentranceexamination,thefollowing
criteriawillbeadoptedtoresolvetheties:
a)
Candidateobtaininghighertotalpercentageofmarksin
B.Sc.(Nursing)examinationfollowedby
b)
Candidateelderinagewillbeplacedhigherinthemeritlistinthat
order

Themarksobtainedbythecandidatesintheentranceexaminationandthe
namesofcandidatesqualifiedforcounsellingwillbedisplayedonthenotice
boardoftheInstitute/websiteonthedatenotified.Incasethecandidatefailsto
reportforcounsellingsheforfeitstherighttoadmission.
4.
Theselectionshallbebasedonthemerittakingintoconsiderationofthe
marksobtainedatentranceexamination.Thestatutoryreservationrulesand
GOPNo.646dated10thJuly,1979forlocalareareservationswillbe
followedduringcounselling.Candidateshavetoreportforcounselling
inpersonwithacounsellingfeeofRs.25,000/(Rupeestwentyfivethousandonly)..
Norequestforpostponingthedateofcounsellingorrequesttoappearatan
earlierdateshallbeentertained.Incase,acandidatefailstoreportfor
counsellingatthedateandtimespecified,sheforfeitstherighttoadmissionand
theseatshallbeofferedtothenextcandidateinthemeritlist.Thecandidates
recommendedforprovisionaladmissionarerequiredtopayanamountof
Rs.25,000/(Rupeestwentyfivethousandonly)towardscounsellingfee
immediately.Thisamountwillbeadjustedagainsttheadmissionfeetobepaid
alongwiththebalanceoftheadmissionfeetobecollectedatthetimeofadmission.
Incasethecandidatedoesnot,foranyreason,reportforadmissionbeforethe
specifieddateshewillforfeittheseatandcounsellingfee.Thecounselling
procedureisdescribedatannexureIII.
5.
Thecandidatescalledforthecounsellingshallcomepreparedtooverstayfor
onemoredaybeyondthedateofcounsellingincaseitisrequired.
X.
Admission
1.
Allthosecandidateswhoareselectedfor admissionhavetopaythefeeas
specifiedbelowandsubmittheoriginalcertificatesasprescribedinannexure
Vonthedateandtimespecified.Failuretosubmittherequiredcertificates

The admission fee once paid by the candidate is not refundable under
anycircumstances.

Allthecandidatesjoiningthecourseshallexecuteabondforanamountof
Rs.1,00,000/(Rupeesonelakhonly)atthetimeofadmissiononanon
judicialstampedpaperofRs.100/valuealongwithtwosuretiesnotbelow
therankofGazettedOfficertoensurecompletionoftheprescribedperiodof
trainingorindefaulttopaythebondamountandshallalsohavetorefund
theamountifanyreceivedasstipenduptothatdatetoNIMS.The
signatureofthesuretyshouldbesupportedbyseal/rubberstamp.The
formatofthebondtobeexecutedmaybeseeninAnnexureII.
4.
Theoriginalcertificatessubmittedbythecandidatesshallnotbereturnedto
thecandidatestilltheycompletetheircourseofstudyandappearforthe
finalexaminationoronfulfillingcondition(3)above.
5.
Forinservicecandidateswhoarepursuingstudiesandwhocannotdeposit
theoriginalcertificatesatthetimeofadmissionhavetobringXeroxcopiesof
theoriginalcertificatesdulyattestedbythecontrollingauthoritiesofthe
institutionswheretheyareworkingorstudying.Theyshallalsoproducea

certificatefromtheinstitutionthattheyhavenoobjectiontothecandidates
admissiontotheM.Sc(Nursing)courseandintheeventofselectionofthe
candidatetothecoursesheshallberelievedimmediately.Failuretosubmit
theabovecertificatesshallrenderthecandidateineligibleforadmission.
6.
Inallmattersrelatingtoselectionandadmission,thedecisionoftheInstitute
shallbefinalandbindingonthecandidatesandselectioncannotbe
questionedafteradmissionsareclosed.
7.
Acandidateoncechosenasubjectatthecounselling,changeofsubjectis
notpermittedevenwithmutualexchangealso.
8.
Noindividualcorrespondenceregardingentranceexamination/counselling/
selection/admissionforthecoursewillbemadetothecandidates.

XI.
Afteradmission
1.
Thestudentsshallmaintainstrictdisciplineduringtheperiodof
study/trainingprogrammeintermsofconductrulesoftheNIMS.Violationof
theconductruleswillresultinthecancellationoftheadmissionofthe
candidateapartfrominvokingthetermsandconditionsofthebond.The
candidateshallnotresorttoanystrikesduringtheperiodoftheirstudyin
derelictionoftheirdutiesorairtheirviewscriticizingthepoliciesofthe
InstituteeitherbeforetheprintorElectronicMediaoranywhere.
2.
Thecandidateshallbefulltimestudent.Nostudentisallowedtodoany
privatepracticeorconsultation.
3.
ThecandidateshallnotregisterforanyotherDegree/Diplomaandcontinue
thestudiesconcurrentlywhiledoingthepresentcourse.
4.
Theselectedcandidatesshalljointhecoursebythedatenotified.Incasethe
selectedcandidatedoesnotreportbythedate,thenextcandidateinthe
order ofmeritwillbeselectedinherplace.Noextensionoftimewillbe
entertained.
5.
TheInstitutereservestherighttochangethescheduleafterduenotification.
6.
DutiesandresponsibilitiesofstudentsjoiningM.Sc.(Nursing)courseshallbe
fixedbytheInstitutefromtimetotime.Theywillberequiredtopursuesuch
worksasmaybeneededinthelegitimateinterestofpatientcareinthe
hospital.
7.
Allselectedcandidatesmustmaintainalogbookrecordingtheirdaytoday
academicactivities,whicharetobesubmittedtotheDeanthroughProper
Channelonceinsixmonths.

8.
Theselectionofeachstudentwillbesubjecttomedicalfitness.TheMedical
BoardappointedbytheInstitutewilldecidethemedicalfitness.Thedecision
oftheMedicalBoardshallbefinal.
9.
Allstudents shall adheretotheinstitutionalrulesand violationofruleswill

beviewedseriously.
10.
Candidatesfoundtobeineligibleatanystageofexaminationwillnotbe
permittedtoappearintheexamination.Inanunlikelyeventofanyineligible
candidateappearingand/orbeingsuccessfulintheexamination,theresults
ofsuchacandidateshallbecancelledand/oraredeemedtobecancelled.
11.
Resultantvacanciesshallbefilledbythecandidatesbelongingtothesame
categoryasthosewhovacatedthecorrespondingseat.
12.
Instituteisnotresponsibleforanyunforeseeneventspreventingthe
candidatefromreachingforcounsellingandthecandidatewillbeconsidered
absentundersuchcircumstances.
13.
Anyattemptonthepartofthecandidatetoinfluencedirectlyorindirectlyby
anymeanswillbetreatedasdisqualification.
XII.
Final(exit)examination:
1.
Minimumpassmarksshallbe50%ineachoftheTheoryandPracticalpapers
separately.
2.
Acandidatemusthaveminimumof80%attendance(irrespectiveofthekind
ofabsence)intheoryandpracticalineachsubjectforappearingthe
examination.
3.
Acandidatemusthave100%attendanceineachofthepracticalareasbefore
awardofdegree.
4.
Acandidatehastopassintheoryandpracticalexamseparatelyineachof
thepaper.
5.
Ifacandidatefailsineithertheoryorpracticalpapershehastoreappearfor
boththepapers(TheoryandPractical)
6.
Acandidatefailinginmorethantwosubjectswillnotbepromotedtothe
secondyear.
7.
Nocandidateshallbeadmittedtothesubsequentsecondyearexamination
unlessthecandidatehaspassedthe1styearexamination.
8.
Themaximumperiodtocompletethecoursesuccessfullyshouldnotexceed
4(four)years.

XIII.Leave
1.
Allcandidatesareeligiblefor30daysofvacationincludingpreparatory
holidaysandtheyarealsoeligibleforpublicholidaysdeclaredbythe
institute.The candidatesareeligibleforsickleavefor14daysas
recommendedbytheMedicalOfficeroftheInstitute.
2.
Ifacandidateisabsentformorethan30dayswithoutsanctionofleave,she
shallbedeemedtohavediscontinuedthecourseandthebondamount
andthestipendifanypaidshallberecoveredaspertherules.However,a
candidatewillbeeligibleforsickleavewithoutstipendas recommendedby
theMedicalBoardconstitutedbytheInstitute.Minimumof80%attendance
iscompulsorytobeeligibletoappearforexaminations.
3.
Thecandidatesshallundergoextratrainingfortheperiodcoveredbythe
absenceandcontinuethetraininguntilthenextexamination.
4.
Inthecaseofcandidatesavailingmaternityleave,theyshallundergoextra
trainingtotheextentofperiodcoveredbytheabsencebeforetheyare
permittedtoappeartheexamination.
XIV.Discontinuationofthecourse
Candidatesarepermittedtodiscontinuethecourseunderthefollowingcondition.
Bondconditionsshallnotapplyinthiscase.
(a)
IllnesscertifiedbytheMedicalBoardoftheInstitute.
XV.Closureofadmission
Theadmissionsstandclosedbytheprescribeddateandthecourseshallcommence
from thenotifieddate.Duetounforeseenreasonsifaseatfallsvacantwithintheperiod
ofclosureofadmissionsasperINCrules,thecandidatenextinorderofmeritasperrules
willbeconsideredforadmissioni.e.onorbefore31102015.
XVI.Terminationoftraininganddismissal
Acandidateadmittedtothecourseshallbeliablefordismissalatanytimebefore
thecompletionofthecourseonaccountofnegligence,failuretoattendtheprescribed
studiesandduties,insubordination,misconductoranyotheroffencesamountingtomoral
turpitudeonthepartofthecandidatewhichintheopinionoftheHeadoftheInstitute
makesinundesirabletocontinuethecandidateintheInstitute.
XVII.AntiRaggingAct
RaggingisprohibitedintheEducationalInstitutionsintheStateofAndhraPradesh
ProhibitionofRaggingActNo.26of1997,dated21081997andamendmentsmadefrom
timetotime.Ifanyincidentofraggingcomestothenoticeoftheauthority,theconcerned

studentshallbegivenlibertytoexplainandifherexplanationisnotfoundsatisfactory,the
authoritywouldexpelhim/herfromtheinstitution.
XVIII. PowersofDean
Notwithstandinganythingcontainedintheserules,theDeanNIMSmayatanytime
beforecompletionofthecourseeitheronhisownmotionorontheapplicationof
anypersonafterdueandproperenquiryandaftergivingthepersontwoweeks
timefromthedateofreceiptoftheshowcausenoticetosubmitthewritten
explanationandonpersonalhearing,orderthecancellationofaadmissiontothe
course.Ifinhisopinionsuchcandidatehadfurnishedincorrectparticulars/false
informationintheapplicationorinthedocumentsattachedtheretoorinthe
statementmadeeitherbeforetheauthorityinchargeofadmissionortheDeanor
anyothermanner.AgainstanysuchorderoftheDean,theappealshallliewiththe
Director,NizamsInstituteofMedicalSciences,Hyderabad.
XIX.
TheserulesaresubjecttochangeinaccordancewiththedecisionsoftheInstitute
takenfromtimetotime

theoriginalcertificatesatthetimeofadmissionhavetobringXeroxcopiesof
theoriginalcertificatesdulyattestedbythecontrollingauthoritiesofthe
institutionswheretheyareworkingorstudying.Theyshallalsoproducea
certificatefromtheinstitutionthattheyhavenoobjectiontothecandidates
admissiontotheMasterofPhysiotherapycourseandintheeventof

8. Inallmattersrelatingtoselectionsandadmission,thedecisionofthe

XI. Afteradmission
1. Thestudentsshallmaintainstrictdisciplineduringtheperiodof
study/trainingprogrammeintermsofconductrulesoftheNIMS.Violationof
theconductruleswillresultinthecancellationoftheadmissionofthe
candidateapartfrominvokingthetermsandconditionsofthebond.The
candidateshallnotresorttoanystrikesduringtheperiodoftheirstudyin
derelictionoftheirdutiesorairtheirviewscriticizingthepoliciesofthe
InstituteeitherbeforetheprintorElectronicMediaoranywhere.
2. ThecandidateshallnotregisterforanyotherDegree/Diplomaandcontinue
thestudiesconcurrentlywhileduringthepresentcourse.
3. Theselectedcandidatesshalljointhecoursebythedatenotified.Incasethe
selectedcandidatedoesnotreportbythedate,thenextcandidateinthe
orderofmeritwillbeselectedinhis/herplace.Noextensionoftimewillbe
entertained.
4. Theadmissionstandsclosedbythedateannouncedandcourseshall
commencefromthenotifieddate.Duetounforeseenreasonifaseatfalls
vacantwithintheperiodofclosureofadmissions,thecandidatenextinorder

beviewedseriously.
10. Candidatesfoundtobeineligibleatanystageofexaminationwillnotbe
permittedtoappearintheexamination.Inanunlikelyeventofanyineligible
candidateappearingand/orbeingsuccessfulintheexamination,theresults
ofsuchacandidateshallbecancelledand/oraredeemedtobecancelled.
11. Resultantvacanciesshallbefilledbythecandidatesbelongingtothesame
categoryasthosewhovacatedthecorrespondingseat.
12. Thecandidateshallbeafulltimestudent.Nostudentisallowedtodoanyprivate
practiceorconsultation.allthecandidatesjoiningthecourseshallworkasfull
timestudentsduringtheperiodoftrainingandshallattendnotlessthan85%
(eightyfivepercent)oftheimpartedtrainingduringeachacademicyearincluding

13. Thecandidatesmustcompletethefinalexaminationwithinaperiodof8
(eight)yearsfromthedateofadmissiontothecourse.Failingwhichthe

XII.
Leave
1.
Allcandidatesareeligiblefor30daysofvacationincludingpreparatory
holidaysandtheyarealsoeligibleforpublicholidaysdeclaredbythe
institute.Thecandidatesareeligibleformedicalleavefor14daysas
recommendedbytheMedicalOfficeroftheinstitute.
2.
Ifacandidateisabsentformorethan30dayswithoutsanctionofleave,
he/sheshallbedeemedtohavediscontinuedthecourseandthebond
amountshallberecoveredaspertherules.However,acandidatewillbe
eligibleformedicalleaveasrecommendedbytheMedicalBoardconstituted
bytheInstitute.Minimumof85%attendanceiscompulsorytobecome

Closureofadmission
Theadmissionsstandclosedwithin2(two)monthsfromthedateof
commencementofthecourse.Thedurationofthecourseshallbecalculatedfrom
thedateofcommencementofthecoursewithoutanyreferencetothedateof
joiningofanyindividual.
XV.
Acandidateadmittedtothecourseshallbeliablefordismissalatanytimebefore
thecompletionofthecourseonaccountofnegligence,failuretoattemptthe
prescribedstudies,insubordination,misconductoranyotheroffencesamountingto
moralturpitudeonthepartofthecandidatewhichintheopinionoftheHeadofthe
Institutemakesinundesirabletocontinuethecandidateintheinstitute.
XVI.
AntiRaggingAct
RaggingisprohibitedintheEducationalInstitutionsaspertheAndhraPradesh
ProhibitionofRaggingAct.No.26of1997,dated21081997andamendmentsmade
fromtimetotime.Ifanyincidentofraggingcomestothenoticeoftheauthority,
theconcernedstudentshallbegivenlibertytoexplainandifhis/herexplanationis
notfoundsatisfactory,theauthoritywouldexpelhim/herfromtheinstitution.
XVII.
PowersofDean
Notwithstandinganythingcontainedintheserules,theDean,NIMSmayatanytime
beforecompletionofthecourseeitheronhis/herownmotionorontheapplication
ofanypersonafterdueandproperenquiryandaftergivingthepersontwoweeks
timefromthedateofreceiptoftheshowcausenoticetosubmitthewritten

explanationandonpersonalhearing,orderthecancellationofaadmissiontothe
course.Ifinhisopinionsuchcandidatehadfurnishedincorrectparticulars/false
informationintheapplicationorinthedocumentsattachedtheretoorinthe
statementmadeeitherbeforetheauthorityinchargeofadmissionortheDeanor
anyothermanner.AgainstanysuchorderoftheDean,theappealshallliewiththe

SubordinateServiceRules,1996).Theadmissionswillbemadeagainstroster
pointsfrom47100and01to03forthisyear(2015).

b) Thereshallbe3%reservationfordifferentlyabled(PhysicallyHandicappedPH)
withlocomotordisabilityof5070%confinedtolowerlimbs.Thecandidatesshall
beselectedonhorizontalbasisamonggeneralandreservedcategories.Incaseof
temporarilydisabledpersons,thePHcertificateshouldbeissued,within3months
priortopresentinghis/herapplicationforseekingadmissionbyclaimingthe
benefitofreservation.TheMedicalBoardconstitutedbytheNIMSwill
scrutinize/verifythedisabilitycandidatesandcandidatesclaimingreservation
underPHforconfirmationofeligibility.
c) BCEreservation:Thereshallbe4%reservationunderBCEaspermemo
G.O.Ms.No.23,BackwardClassesWelfare(C2),dated7thJuly,2007shouldbe
obtainedfromTahsildar/MandalRevenueOfficeronorafter7thJuly,2007.

d) Therosterpointsystemforstatutoryreservationsshallbefollowedbytakingthe
totalnumberofseatsinallcoursestogether.

TheseatsreservedforscheduledTribesshallbemadeavailabletoScheduled

MethodofSelection
1. Theselectionshallbebasedonmeritarrivedoutoftotalmarksobtainedinqualifying
examinationi.e.B.Sc.degree.
2. Incaseofequalityofmarksinthedegreeexamination,thefollowingcriteriawillbe
adoptedtoresolvetheties:
a) Candidateobtaininghighertotalpercentageofmarksintheoptionalsubjects

4. Theselectionshallbebasedonthemeritobtainedinqualifyingexaminationi.e.B.Sc.
Degreeexamination.Thestatutoryreservationrulesandlocalareareservationsas

Candidateshavetoreportforcounsellinginpersonwithacounsellingfeeof
Rs.3,200/(Rupeesthreethousandandtwohundredonly).Norequestfor
postponingthedateofcounsellingorrequesttoappearatanearlierdateshallbe
entertained.Incase,acandidatefailstoreportforcounsellingatthedateandtime
specified,he/sheforfeitstherighttoadmissionandtheseatshallbeofferedtothe
nextcandidateinthemeritlist.Thecandidatesrecommendedforprovisional
admissionarerequiredtopayanamountofRs.3,200/(Rupeesthreethousandand
twohundredonly)towardscounsellingfeeimmediately.Thisamountwillbeadjusted

thecourseunderthisclauseshallnotbeconsideredforanyothersubject/course
duringthesameacademicyear.Thecourseimpartedpriortoresignationshallnotbe
consideredforanyotherpurposes.Inthecaseofinservicecandidatestheyhaveto
executeabondtosatisfythestudyleaverulesofNIMSwhichmaybeobtainedfrom
theH.R.Department.
5.
Theoriginalcertificatessubmittedbythecandidatesshallnotbereturnedtothe
candidatestilltheycompletetheircourseofstudyandappearforthefinal
examinationoronfulfillingcondition(4)above.
6.
Forinservicecandidateswhoarepursuingstudiesandwhocannotdepositthe
originalcertificatesatthetimeofcounsellinghavetobringXeroxcopiesoftheoriginal
certificatesdulyattestedbythecontrollingauthoritiesoftheinstitution.Theyshall
alsoproduceacertificatefromtheinstitutionthattheyhavenoobjectiontothe
candidatesadmissiontothepostgraduatediplomacoursesandintheeventof
selectionofthecandidatetothecoursehe/sheshallberelievedimmediately.Failure
tosubmittheabovecertificatesshallrenderthecandidatesbeingineligiblefor
admission.

AllcandidateswhoareemployeesintheStateofTelanganaandAndhraPradesh,
CentralGovernmentundertaking,PublicSectorCorporations,LocalBodies,
UniversitiesandothersimilarquasipublicInstitutionsshouldsubmittheirapplications
throughproperchannelattestedbytheappointingauthorityandsubmitNoObjection
Certificateinoriginalfromtheappointingauthorityalongwithapplication.The
selectedcandidatesshouldsubmitrelievingorderalongwithoriginalcertificatesatthe

VIII.
AfterAdmission
1.
Thestudentshallmaintainstrictdisciplineduringtheperiodofstudy/training
programmeintermsofconductrulesoftheNIMS.Violationoftheconductruleswill
resultinthecancellationoftheadmissionofthecandidateapartfrominvokingthe
termsandconditionsofthebond.Thecandidateshallnotresorttoanystrikesduring
periodoftheirstudyinderelictionoftheirdutiesorairtheirviewscriticizingthe
policiesoftheinstituteeitherbeforetheprintorelectronicmediaoranywhere.
2. Allstudentsshalladheretobeinstitutionalrulesandviolationofruleswillbeviewed
seriously.

10. Thisisafulltimecourse.Thecandidateshallbefulltimestudent.Nostudentis
allowedtodoanyprivatepracticeorconsultation.allthecandidatesjoiningthe
courseshallworkasfulltimestudentsduringtheperiodoftrainingandshallattend
notlessthan80%(eightypercent)oftheimpartedtrainingduringeachacademicyear
includingassignments,assessedfulltimeresponsibilitiesandparticipationinallfacets
oftheeducationalprocess.
11. Candidatesfoundtobeineligibleatanystageofexaminationwillnotbepermittedto
appearintheexamination.Inanunlikelyeventofanyineligiblecandidateappearing
and/orbeingsuccessfulintheexaminationtheresults/candidateofsuchcandidate
shallbecancelledand/oraredeemedtobecancelled.

Leave
1. Thecandidatesareeligiblefor30daysleaveforanacademicyeartheycanavailnot
exceeding10days(includingpublicholidays/weeklyoffs)atatime.Ifacandidateis
absentformorethan20dayswithoutsanctionofleavehe/sheshallbetreatedas
deemedtohavediscontinuedaspertherules.However,acandidatewillbeeligible
forsickleaverecommendedbytheMedicalBoardconstitutedbytheinstitute.
2. Inthecaseofcandidateavailingmaternityleave,theyshallundergoextratrainingto

andanyamendmentsissuedfromtimetotime.Ifanyincidentofraggingcomesto
thenoticeoftheauthority,theconcernedstudentshallbegivenlibertytoexplainand
ifher/hisexplanationisnotfoundsatisfactory,theauthoritywouldexpelher/hisfrom
theInstitution.

thedateofreceiptoftheshowcausenoticetosubmitthewrittenexplanationandon
personalhearing,orderthecancellationofadmissiontothecourse.Ifinhisopinion
suchcandidatehadfurnishedincorrectparticulars/falseinformationinthe
applicationorinthedocumentsattachedtheretoorinthestatementmadeeither
beforetheauthorityinchargeofadmissionortheDeanoranyothermanner.Against
