CSR Strategy on Blind Children Education in

Collaboration with Drik Galley and other


Partner organization
Objective:
MTBL has always responded to its commitment to the society and has been taking part in
corporate contributions and donations to various charitable, educational and healthcare
institutions across the country. The Mutual Trust Bank Foundation has been formed to carry out
these benevolent activities.
MTB will work together with BRAC NGO, in identifying school locations for blind children and to
help support their education by raising funds with the help of other partner organization.

As many organizations are looking for the ways to contribute to the society and for CSR campaign
that will actually be beneficial for the society, but most of the companies cannot come up with
ideas or ways to make an impact.

Partner Organizations:
MTB will act the initiator of the CSR campaign, but will align with other partner organization who
will lend their support to benefit the society.
Grameenphone will be aid as the Platinum Sponsor, as GP always focus on helping the needful
and they maintain a constant support to the society.
In addition, Japan Embassy will lend their support as the Gold Sponsor. The Embassy of Japan
has always contributed to the development of Bangladesh in all areas, infrastructure, economical,
socioeconomic, cultural and educational development. They provide Cultural Grant Assistance to
projects and events trying to make a positive impact in the society.

Executor Organization:
As mentioned before, BRAC NGO will execute the post campaign activities. They will help to
identify locations which school children where they provide education for the blind children. BRAC
NGO will then plan and allocate the funds raised from the campaign for the education of the blind
children. They will monitor the fund disbursement and the fund usage is contributed for the sole
purpose of the education of blind children.

CSR Initiator:
MTB will be the initiator of the CSR campaign. As the reputation of MTB is very profound within
the banking industry, other organizations will find confidence to work together with MTB. MTB will
ensure proper organizing and execution of the entire campaign.

Campaign Details
MTB will organize an Art Exhibition, promoting new upcoming Artist and their work. This CSR
campaign will highlight their work and work as a platform for artist who did not get opportunities to
showcase their work. The artworks will be on display and will also be placed for sale if any
customers will be willing to buy the artworks.

Target Group for Banks


All top level executives will be invited to the exhibition. In additional tickets will be available for
sale for other customers to join the exhibition. The high level executives will be potential target
customers for MTB along with the general customers. With the CSR campaign, the interest and
the promotion of MTB will placed in the minds of the customers, and in the long run these
customers will be approached to do banking with MTB.

Justifications of Income & Expenditure


Grameenphone seeks opportunities for invest in genuine and justifiable CSR
campaigns. Similarly, Embassy of Japan also looks for such opportunities. Due to the
promotional Campaigns, BRAC will also be highlighted, they will be included as the
organizing sponsor.
The sales proceed from the artwork of the new artist will be split between MTB and
the artist 60-40. MTB receiving 60% of the sales proceeds.

Profit Sharing
The Net Income from the campaign will be BDT 2,780,000 (Income Expense). MTB
will share this amount 30-70 with BRAC NGO, Therefore, contributing BDT 2,000,0000
BRAC NGO for the support to the blind children and their education.
