Community Autism Partnership
Autism: Early Intervention Sally J. Rogers, Ph.D., is a researcher,
author, clinician and professor of psychiatry at the M.I.N.D.
Institute, University of California Davis. Her current re-
search focuses on two areas: developing interventions for in-
FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 2010 fants and toddlers with autism that families and profession-
als can deliver, and on identifying autism in infancy. Among
9:00 a.m.-noon 150-plus publications are papers on the clinical and develop-
mental aspects of autism and a book on imitation problems.
Rogers is principal investigator for several research projects,
including one funded by the NIMH/NICHD Autism Centers
Keynote address of Excellence (ACE) network, and helped develop the Den-
ver and the Early Start intervention models. Internationally,
